Haeundae Sea Life Busan Aquarium, full of fun
How to get there: It is very accessible because it is adjacent to Haeundae Beach. If you take the subway, you can get off at Haeundae Station and it is easy to find.
Attraction: Sea Life Busan Aquarium located in Haeundae. Sea Life Aquarium, which opened in 2001, has about 40 large and small themed aquariums. It is famous for exhibiting about 250 species and 10,000 marine and freshwater creatures. It was famous as the largest aquarium in Korea until Aqua Planet in Jeju opened. It is currently temporarily closed due to COVID-19, but there is also a place where you can experience the deep sea through VR. Since there are various things to see and enjoy, it is also a famous attraction of Haeundae Beach that anyone can enjoy regardless of gender or age.
Hotel: There are many hotels nearby because it is near Haeundae Beach. 5-star hotels include Signiel Busan, Paradise Hotel Busan, Grand Josun Busan, Westin Chosun Busan, and Park Hyatt Busan, and 4-star hotels include Shilla Stay Haeundae, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Busan Haeundae, and Kolon Seacloud Hotel. There are also many 3-star hotels and business hotels, so you can stay in a hotel that suits your budget and convenience.
Recommended food & restaurants: Unfortunately, there are no restaurants inside Haeundae Sea Life Busan Aquarium. However, there are many restaurants near Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Station, so there is no inconvenience in enjoying food. It is advantageous in that you can easily eat Busan's specialties such as milmyeon, grilled clams, and eel. For milmyeon, I recommend Choryang Milmyeon, and for grilled clams, I recommend Eoboo.
Shopping information: Haeundae Traditional Market is right near Haeundae Station, so there are various foods and things to enjoy. There is a NC Department Store Haeundae branch, but it is geographically difficult to do full-scale shopping, so I recommend going to Gwangalli.
