Halloween in Vienna 🗺️
#spookyhalloween
I spent Halloween in Vienna this year, and it was such a fun and eerie experience! 🎃 The city is already magical with its imperial architecture, but during Halloween, it takes on a spooky charm. The best part? Walking around the beautifully lit streets of the city center, especially near Stephansplatz and the Hofburg, where people were dressed in creative costumes, and the atmosphere felt festive. The public Halloween events are free, but if you’re into haunted houses, there are a few that charge around €10-15 for some extra thrills.
I spent the day visiting Vienna’s iconic spots like Schönbrunn Palace and the Belvedere, but by night, I joined in on the Halloween activities, including a themed party at one of the local bars. The mix of Vienna’s rich history with the fun Halloween celebrations made it unforgettable. It’s definitely worth experiencing the spooky side of this elegant city!

Autumn in Vienna 🗺️
#autumnseason
Just wrapped up a magical autumn trip to Vienna, and it was truly enchanting! 🍂 The city is perfect in fall with its colorful leaves and crisp air. I started my visit at Schönbrunn Palace, where the entrance fee was €22. The palace and its gardens looked stunning against the fall backdrop, and the views from the Gloriette were breathtaking. 🏰
Strolling through the historic center, I visited St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Climbing the tower for €5 offered incredible city views. 🏙️ I also spent some time at the Belvedere Palace, where the art collection and the surrounding park were beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. 🎨🍁
Vienna’s coffee culture is a must-experience, so I enjoyed a cozy afternoon at Café Central, sipping coffee and indulging in pastries. ☕️ The city's blend of history, art, and vibrant street life made this autumn escape unforgettable. Already dreaming of my next visit! #trip #Vienna #AutumnVibes #Travel #CityEscape #CulturalJourney

Golden Vienna, a city in harmony with nature!
As a music student who has passed level 10 piano, I have always yearned to visit Vienna, the city of music. Vienna is a charming city known as the "City of Music" and is located on the banks of the Danube. It is the capital and largest city of Austria. This city is not only a major cultural center in Europe, but also has a rich history and cultural heritage. The charm of Vienna is not only reflected in its status as the city of music, but also in its historical buildings such as the Hofburg Palace and the Schönbrunn Palace of the Habsburg dynasty. In addition, the historic center of Vienna is a World Heritage Site, showing the city's profound historical heritage.
Hofburg Palace: The palace of the Austrian Habsburg dynasty, located in the center of Vienna, is a place that combines a palace, a convention and exhibition center, and an art collection exhibition.
Schönbrunn Palace: The second largest palace in Europe, and a landmark building in Vienna along with the Hofburg Palace.
Golden Hall: The New Year's concert is held every New Year's Day, showing the charm of Vienna as the city of music.
Maria Theresa Square: The statue of Queen Theresa in the center of the square, as well as the surrounding museums and monuments, are important symbols of Vienna's history and culture.
In addition to its rich cultural heritage, Vienna is also a livable city and has been rated as one of the most livable cities in the world by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme for many years. This city attracts people from all over the world with its unique charm. Whether it is a love for music and art, or an exploration of history and culture, Vienna is a must-visit tourist destination. I have summarized a detailed guide, remember to like and collect it!
Attractions:
- Vienna State Opera: A world-famous opera house, free to visit outside, the ticket price for watching performances varies from tens of euros to hundreds of euros depending on the show and seat.
- Schönbrunn Palace: Palace and garden, the garden is free, the adult ticket to visit the palace is about 16 euros, you can enjoy the royal architecture and garden scenery.
Food:
- Sachertorte: About 7-10 euros per piece in a well-known coffee shop, with a rich chocolate flavor.
- Wiener Schnitzel: The restaurant price is about 15-25 euros per serving, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Precautions:
- Public transportation in Vienna is very convenient, you can buy a transportation pass.
- Pay attention to the opening hours when visiting attractions, and plan ahead.

Royal Vienna Palace - love sissi & frank
Beautiful summer palace where Sissi lived. Grand tour 42 rooms. It's worth while to buy a Sissi combiticket, then you can skip the line and you don't have a timeslot.
You can enter the Palace Park free of charge during opening hours. If you wish to visit to the Schönbrunn special attractions, such as the Privy Garden, the Orangery Garden or the Maze, you need to purchase individual admission tickets
This tour includes 40 rooms and takes approximately 50 minutes. Besides the 22 rooms seen on the Imperial Tour you'll also see the precious 18th-century interiors from the time of Maria Theresa.
Lastly, you're not allowed to take photos inside. So I would suggest sticking to the outside of Schonbrunn Palace. The grounds are really what makes this place so amazing! And most of the grounds are totally free to walk around and explore.
Valid for single admission to all included attractions on the day chosen. This ticket does not include a guided tour. Audio guides or printed descriptions for
€26.00

lovely city 🌆
i travelled to Vienna with some collegues of mine for only a weekend, and we had an absolute blast! It was a bit windy, but the temperature was perfect to go outside with a light jacket. We visited lots of museums and places and couldn’t have it enough 🤍
I suggest to buy a Vienna City Card: you can travel with all the public transports plus it gives you some discounts on ticket museums!
Even if it is a little far from the center, I suggest you to visit the Schönbrunn Palace because it is immaculate: you will spend an entire day in it and the gardens are so beautiful with different activities and mazes 😻

Experiencing fall in Vienna, Austria
#fallingforfall #bucketlistreboot #tripblazers
Check out some stunning photos of the Schönbrunn Palace from my recent visit to Vienna, Austria. It was once the home of the Holy Roman Emperor and the imperial family, the Habsburgs. Think of Maria Theresa, Holy Roman Empress and mother of Marie Antoinette. Yes, the last Queen of France! It was spectacular to walk in the gardens of the palace and know that you might have just stood or sat in the very same spot as the last Queen of France nearly 250 years ago.
Schönbrunn is easily accessible from Vienna. If you take the underground metro, use the U4 (green color line) service and alight at Schönbrunn. Buses go there too! I took 10A to Schloss Schönbrunn. The authentic Viennese experience would be to go there by tram. A couple of buses do go to Schloss Schönbrunn too.
There are many things to do at the palace. I recommend going for a stroll in the beautiful gardens, especially during the start of fall (now!). There are many lovely statues and fountains to awe at too. For the little ones, head over to the Children's Museum.
For a full afternoon at the palace, I suggest getting the Classic Pass for €31. You get a tour (audio guide), a visit to the gardens, maze, as well as a viewing terrace with gorgeous panoramic views of Vienna.
What a charming trip back in time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The interiors, the tapestries, the furniture, all exquisite and worth a visit to crown your city break in Vienna. Also don’t forget the gardens! Picturesque landscape combined with impressive fountains make it a sure rival of the Versailles gardens. We found that The Gloriette in the gardens offered a spectacular view of the estate and were impressed by the Crown Prince Garden and Palmenhaus.

Schonbrunn palace is in #austria , a country with many palaces. The pictures are from the winter time. The snow makes this place even nicer. It features small shops just around the entrance. Unfortunately I couldn't enter the palace because of temporary closure but next time is in my to do list definitely. #schonbrunn

# Vienna Schnbrunn Palace
Vienna's Schnbrunn Palace, is a popular attraction, equivalent to the summer palace of the Habsburg royals. Its name comes from the Holy Roman Emperor Matthias (reigned from 1612 to 1619). It is said that in 1612 he hunt to the Fort Kate between Meidling and Hietzing, drinking the spring water, refreshing the sweet potato, and naming this The spring is "US Spring", and since then "Meiquan" has become the name of this region. In 1743, the Austrian Empress Maria Teresia ordered the construction of the magnificent Schnbrunn Palace and Baroque gardens, with a total area of 26,000 square meters, second only to the French Palace of Versailles. But unlike Versailles, it has a raised back hill that overlooks the entire city of Vienna.
Years of change, glory is not, how many romantic figures, still look at the present.
Travel tips:
1. Entrance tickets are divided into two teams, machine and labor. Tickets purchased by automatic machines cannot use the city pass offer. Please note. After the ticket is purchased successfully, the admission time will be specified, and it is necessary to enter the venue at that point in time, in order to control the flow of people.
2. Photographs are not allowed in the main hall of Schnbrunn Palace, and there is a Chinese audio guide.
3. The Spring Garden and the Roman Forum in the Peak District are all free to enter publicly, without tickets.

Traveling in Europe, if you don't have enough time, please leave a day for Vienna. As the capital of Austria, the world famous music capital, located in Vienna on the Danube River is beautiful and romantic. Step out of the Vienna train station, follow the signs, and start from the World Heritage Schnbrunn Palace, measuring the beautiful city with your footsteps. One of the benefits of European cities is that even if you don't go to every famous attraction, it's like going through a lot of places. When I went to Vienna, there were only a few hours during the day, and important sights such as Schnbrunn Palace, Old Town, St. Stephen's Cathedral, City Hall, Church of Our Lady, St. Peter's Church, etc., actually left on both legs. Again. Although a little hasty, but also left enough reason for the next time!

Vienna's treasure: the stunning scenery of the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens.
⛲️The name of Schönbrunn Palace has a legendary origin, derived from a story about Matthias, the Holy Roman Emperor. It is said that in 1612, Matthias was hunting here when he discovered a spring with clear and sweet water, which he named "Schönbrunn" (meaning "beautiful spring"). Over time, Schönbrunn Palace gradually became a witness to the glorious history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Habsburg family, as well as the cradle of Princess Sissi's legendary life.
🌸The gardens of Schönbrunn Palace are undoubtedly its most dazzling jewel. You can stroll through them and enjoy their endless charm without a ticket, but if you want to enter the palace itself, you need to book a ticket in advance and strictly adhere to the selected entry time, as even a slight delay will prevent you from seeing its true beauty. 🎟️
🏆At the top of the gardens stands the majestic Gloriette, with the imperial eagle on top spreading its wings, symbolizing supreme glory. 🦅Below the Gloriette is the Schönbrunn Palace Lake, also known as the Neptune Fountain, where the water sparkles in the sunlight like stars scattered on earth. This is my favorite place, and sitting on the lawn, enjoying the breeze, and gazing at the cityscape of Vienna is one of life's greatest pleasures. ✨
🚶♂️It is worth mentioning that the road to the top of the hill is cleverly designed in a zigzag pattern, which adds some fun but also presents a challenge. Fortunately, there is a shortcut, and if you want to avoid tired legs, be sure to take the shortcut up the hill. This is a valuable tip from my personal experience. 😅

I just wrapped up a week in Vienna, and I’m still in awe of the city’s incredible architecture! 🏛️ From the majestic palaces to the stunning baroque churches, every corner reveals something beautiful. The highlight for me was the Schönbrunn Palace, where the entrance fee was around €20 for a guided tour. The gardens are free and perfect for a leisurely stroll, offering breathtaking views of the palace.
Exploring the city center, I marveled at St. Stephen’s Cathedral with its intricate roof and soaring spires—definitely a must-see! The mix of Gothic, Baroque, and modern architecture creates such a vibrant atmosphere. I also loved walking along the Ringstrasse, where you can see the Vienna State Opera and the Natural History Museum. Each building tells a story, making Vienna a living museum of architectural beauty. I can’t wait to return!

A Romantic Journey to Schönbrunn Palace: Perfect for Couples
#coupletravel Schönbrunn Palace, with its opulent Baroque architecture and sprawling gardens, is a dream destination for couples seeking a romantic escape in Vienna. Walking hand in hand through the grand entrance, my partner and I were instantly transported to an era of imperial elegance. The palace’s golden facade glowed in the afternoon sun, and its history whispered through every ornate room we explored.
But it’s the gardens that truly make Schönbrunn perfect for couples. As we strolled through the tree-lined paths, the scent of blooming flowers filled the air, and the gentle rustle of leaves set the mood for quiet, intimate moments. The beautifully manicured lawns, labyrinths, and hidden fountains offered countless spots to pause, sit, and take in the serene surroundings. Reaching the Gloriette at the top of the hill, we were rewarded with a breathtaking view of the entire palace complex and the city skyline beyond—a perfect place to share a quiet moment together.
The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the historical grandeur, made Schönbrunn feel like a fairy-tale setting, ideal for couples looking to create lasting memories. Whether picnicking in the gardens or wandering through the royal halls, Schönbrunn Palace is a magical destination that captures the heart and the imagination.

The beautiful palace of Princess Sisi, one of Vienna's World Heritage Sites.
🏨 Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna
📍Address:
Schönbrunn Palace is located in the Heiligenstadt district of Vienna, Austria (address: Schloßstraße 47, 1130 Wien, Austria).
🌟Highlights:
This palace is not only the summer palace of the Habsburg dynasty, but also one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Vienna.
It was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996 and is an outstanding representative of Baroque art, second only to the Palace of Versailles in France.
The origin of Schönbrunn Palace can be traced back to the late 16th century, when Maximilian II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, discovered a spring with clear and sweet water, hence the name "Schönbrunn", which means "beautiful spring".
The original palace was ordered to be built by Emperor Ferdinand II in 1642, but the magnificent building we see today is mainly from the early to mid-18th century. Its architectural style and interior decoration reflect the luxury of Baroque and the elegance of Rococo, reflecting the aesthetic trend of the early 18th century.
The facade of Schönbrunn Palace is painted in a bright yellow, known as "Maria Theresa Yellow", in honor of the famous Empress Maria Theresa in Austrian history.
The front of the palace is 240 meters long, with a protruding central part. The dome and bell tower on the top are a highlight of the southwestern skyline of Vienna.
👍Recommended:
There are a total of 1,441 rooms in the palace, the most impressive of which is the Great Gallery (Grosser Spiegelsaal).
This room is 44 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 13 meters high. There are 17 mirrors embedded in the walls, each corresponding to a window. The light reflects off the mirrors, creating a dreamlike light and shadow effect.
The murals on the ceiling depict the heroic deeds of the Habsburg family and are the work of Austrian painter Franz Anton Maulbertsch.
During the reign of Queen Maria Theresa, Schönbrunn Palace became an important center of European politics and culture. The palace is home to many precious artworks and furniture, showcasing the glorious years of the Habsburg dynasty.
It is said that six-year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once played the piano for the Empress in the Great Gallery. This performance is considered an important milestone in the early career of the musical genius.
❤Why we love it:
Schönbrunn Palace is not far from the city center of Vienna and can be reached by taking the U4 subway line to Schönbrunn station. The surrounding area offers natural scenery of the Vienna Woods (Wienerwald) and beautiful views along the Danube River.
For visitors who like to explore historical sites, Melk Abbey, about 50 kilometers from Schönbrunn Palace, and the old town of Krems are good choices.

Vienna is not sad.
Vienna is the most exquisite city I have visited so far. The city is like a white swan with carefully combed feathers, raising its neck and slowly sliding on the lake, waiting for the audience to appreciate it.
Most of the buildings here are white neoclassical style, unlike the gray and black of Budapest, it seems to have done a noble spa maintenance, and there are no traces of the years. The streets are also clean, and most of the time you can only see golden fallen leaves.
If any city has the most elegant culture, it is undoubtedly Vienna. Zweig also said this in "Yesterday's World". In a very small space, a large number of high arts galleries and museums are densely gathered. Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, Museum of Art History, Golden Hall, Opera House, everyone in the city regards elegant art as life.
In addition to art, there are luxury brands. The luxury goods stores here are not like the huge logos and transparent glass walls in domestic large department stores. Its luxury is packaged in a neoclassical skin with white inlays of Olympus twelve gods. Vienna is also the place where I saw the most densely dressed luxury goods on the bus.
Viennese people like desserts, and there are dessert shops and cafes every few steps. Through the bright windows, you can see three or five friends or a family chatting while drinking coffee. Swiss, Italian, Romanian chocolate shops, one after another.
Gastronomic Adventures
Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna, Austria.
Schönbrunn Palace, an irreplaceable cultural treasure of Austria, was once a summer resort for the royal family to escape the heat. This magnificent palace has a vast interior space with as many as 1,441 rooms, each of which is carefully arranged to show the royal style of the past with luxurious decorations and delicate furnishings. Stepping into the palace is like going back to that glorious era, and every inch of space exudes the profound charm of history and culture.
What is even more amazing is that the decorative art in the palace cleverly integrates Eastern and Western elements, especially those decorations that are unified and coordinated in the Eastern style. The walls and ceilings are inlaid with exquisite ceramics, shining brightly. Not only are there luxurious restaurants where emperors of all dynasties have feasted guests, but there are also gorgeous dance halls for nobles to dance. Every place makes people feel the delicacy and luxury of the court life of the past. What is particularly precious is that several embroidered gold carriages used in the Queen's coronation ceremony are still on display here, becoming a witness to history, which is fascinating.
Surrounding the palace is a typical French garden, whose exquisite design and grand layout are breathtaking. On both sides of the huge flower bed are neatly trimmed green tree walls. They are like loyal guards, guarding this quiet holy land. Inside the green tree wall, 44 sculptures inspired by Greek mythology are lifelike, adding a bit of mystery and romance to this garden. Walking around, whether standing on the terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery, or shuttling between the fountain and the maze, you can deeply experience the tranquility and beauty that is detached from the world.

Vienna, located on the banks of the Danube, is known as the "City of Music". The buildings in the city are mainly white or other light colors, and the population is relatively sparse. Walking on the empty square or on the side of the road during the day, looking at the cold buildings, it feels a bit creepy. There are trams and shared bicycles on the street, but the most eye-catching are the carriages. The horses are tall and the drivers are generally older. The carriages are comfortable and textured, as if they have returned to a hundred years ago.
The former residence of Princess Sissi is in the suburbs, which is convenient to visit and worth a visit. There are not many tourists. The citizens of Vienna like to run and exercise. Even in the winter, the staff of the coffee shop chat outside the shop during the break, and the old man looks at the goods with a cane and recalls the past.
There is a skating rink on the side of the street, which is crowded. Both adults and children in Vienna are good at skating.
