One of the highlights was taking a vaporetto ride down the Grand Canal. Gliding past the majestic palazzos and under the Rialto Bridge gave me a completely different perspective of the city. Of course, I couldn’t miss Piazza San Marco, where I admired the grandeur of the basilica and the bell tower before sipping an espresso nearby, soaking in the atmosphere. Transportation Guide - The local transportation is definitely the boat, a one-way trip is 9.5 euros, and unlimited boat rides within 24 hours are 25 euros, depending on your personal needs.  Local attractions - Piazza San Marco There is a famous brand street nearby, so you can go shopping as you like. If you like visiting churches, you can go to the Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Tickets are €5.00 and can be bought at the door. It is one of the largest churches in Venice and has the status of a secondary papal basilica. Personally, I like visiting churches in foreign countries. I feel that I must see the faith, the grandeur, the details, and the parallel geometry in these places in person. In fact, Venice is not very big and there are not too many attractions. If the weather is good, you can just do whatever you want. The second is that the consumption level in Venice is higher than in other cities. Overall, I felt that staying for only one night was enough 🤣, and the next stop, Milan, was more attractive.
