This trip was definitely as good as my trip to Osaka. 2. Transportation: There are direct flights from Shanghai to Fukuoka. From Beijing, you can take a flight to Fukuoka with a stopover in Dalian (CA953/CA954). After October 27, Air China will resume daily flights from Beijing Capital Airport to Dalian (stopover) to Fukuoka. Please refer to the airline's official website for specific flight information. 3. Travelers who travel to Fukuoka usually go to nearby cities such as Yufuin or Beppu! So I really wanted to recommend Itoshima, which is not very famous yet 😇 Most people who want to see the ocean stop by Momochi Beach, but you can find a fantastic seaside town in just 50 minutes by bus! Itoshima is quite small, but it is difficult to walk around because of the slopes, so if you rent an electric bike and go around, you can see most of the places! You should definitely rent an electric bike! It would be too tiring to just ride a bike😅 I rented an electric bike from THALIA COFFEE ROASTERS and went around here and there, and had shio ramen at a ramen shop called 糸島noodle lab. ITO DESSIN, which was so delicious! I recommend it because it has a different charm from tonkotsu ramen🤤 There are many great ocean view cafes in Itoshima, but I couldn't go to bbb haus, which I wanted to go to, because there was a reserved guest, so I ate ice cream while looking at the beautiful ocean at ブルーシール アイスクリーム is on SALE / New York SeaSide Hearts Blue Seal Ice Cream Shop on the coastal road! The owner of this shop spoke to me since I was alone, and we talked for about 20 minutes, and he kindly took pictures for me before leaving :-) I think it would be good for those who are going alone! Sakurai Futami-Shoura no Meowoiwa More and more people know that it is about an hour's drive from downtown Fukuoka! It is one of the few suburban attractions that can be reached without driving. A new hotel in Itoshima All rooms have a pool. You can see the ocean from the rooms, and the breeze feels good in the rooms. On the second floor there is a large projector and a bedroom. I just set the destination without any information and just kept going, but it was a really quiet restaurant with a friendly couple. Unfortunately, the mackerel sushi was sold out, but the feeling of eating in the forest on the second floor, the clean high rice soba, and the dessert were all perfect. Day 1: Had a meal and wandered around (you can check out the nearby Don Quijote! Lots of snacks, open 24 hours). Many other stores close by 8 PM, so it's convenient to mark the stores you want to visit and check their opening hours. When the time comes, you can see which ones are open and nearby. Day 2️⃣ Highlights❗ ❗️❗️ I joined a day tour departing from Fukuoka, visiting Aso Mountain, Kusasenri, Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, and Kurokawa Onsen. The schedule was very reasonable. 1️⃣ Had lunch at Aso Mountain, enjoying the scenery while eating. Meals range from simple to luxurious, and WeChat Pay is accepted. 2️⃣ Due to time and weather, I chose a place to experience an open-air hot spring at Kurokawa Onsen. There's no time limit, but it was too hot, so I soaked for about 20 minutes. It was beautiful in the bamboo forest (but since it's open-air, there were some bugs on the water surface). The guide mentioned an oldest hot spring from the Showa era that costs only 200 yen, but the facilities are probably quite old. It's up to you if you dare to try it, haha. I was quite curious. You can bring your own towel, or rent or buy one at the hot spring shop. Renting costs 200 yen, buying costs 400 yen (with a Kumamon towel, which I bought as a souvenir). You don't need to wear anything in the Japanese hot springs, and you don't need to bring other clothes. Day 3️⃣ On the third day, I went cycling in Itoshima. I took the subway to Chikuzen-Maebaru, then went to the nearby Itoshima Tourist Center (I think that's what it's called) to rent an electric-assisted bicycle for 1400 yen/4 hours, with optional insurance for 300 yen (which covers bicycle damage). I cycled to the white torii gate, stopping to take photos and have a meal. The timing was just right. In the afternoon, I went shopping. Mina has a lot of stuff, including Uniqlo, Loft, and Bookoff (a shopping destination for poor students, haha). (⚠️ You need to take off your shoes in the fitting room, which I didn't notice at first). Day 4️⃣ It rained, so I first went to the nearby post office to send a postcard to myself, then went shopping again, haha. I also visited a filming location for Natsume's Book of Friends and had a brief encounter with a girl from Hiroshima.
