The Hiroshima ski trip was amazing! First of all, Osorakan Ski Resort is one of the largest in Hiroshima Prefecture, and has a variety of courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. The snow quality is good and the skiing experience is excellent. After enjoying skiing to the fullest, we enjoyed the local specialty, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. The taste of the cabbage and sauce was soothing to our tired bodies! However, the 5-hour drive one way was a bit tough, but we enjoyed the scenery along the way, so it went by surprisingly quickly. I was very satisfied with the Hiroshima ski trip, where I could move my body in nature and taste local cuisine. This large canyon is located in the Nishichugoku Mountains National Park and is approximately 16 kilometers long. Here you can enjoy one of the most concentrated canyon views in western Japan. There are many scenic spots in the canyon, including the "Kurofuchi", "Sarutobi", "Second-stage Falls", and "Three-stage Falls". It is also famous for its autumn leaves (late October to late November). There are two ferries in Sandan Gorge, the Kurofun and the Sarutobi, and the scenery on the ferry is different from that on the walking trail. *The second waterfall can only be accessed by taking the Sarutobi ferry. A fishing pond for yamame and amago trout in Akiota Town. You can eat the fish you catch on the spot. There are two types of fish: grilled fish that you cook on the hearth, and fried fish prepared by the shop, but I can say with confidence that the fried fish is the tastiest. However, the grilled fish looks good with photos of the hearth, so in the end I recommend both. They also serve rice balls and udon, so you can have a fish barbecue empty-handed. I'm not sure if it was by chance, but I caught five fish in 10 minutes. You have to buy the fish you catch, so it's a problem if you catch too many, but it's fun. Although it's a fishing pond, it's located in the mountains, so it's a hands-on activity that I recommend for families.
