The traditional architecture, elegant courtyards, and intricate carvings make it a great place to learn about the city’s cultural heritage ✨ For the best photos, we recommend taking pictures under the red lanterns or near the stone architecture, they create a beautiful contrast with the temple’s wooden structures 🪵 📍Jianyang Confucian Temple, Wenmiao Street, Jianyang, Sichuan, China A trip to Jianyang wouldn’t be complete without tasting its famous Jianyang Mutton Soup 🍲 We visited a local restaurant where the broth was rich and flavorful, with tender mutton and fresh herbs 🌿 The best way to enjoy it is with a side of crispy flatbread. We highly recommend trying this local specialty, it’s one of the best meals we had on our trip 💯 📍Laozihao Jianyang Mutton Soup We then hiked up Longquan Mountains ⛰️ a scenic area with panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. The fresh mountain air and lush greenery made the climb completely worth it. The best photo spot is at the peak, where you can capture the rolling hills stretching into the distance. Sancha Lake. Enjoy the sea view at Sancha Lake and the joy of cycling 15 kilometers round trip along the lake When there are clouds, of course you have to go to a place with water. The shadows of the clouds on the water must look like a dream. Because there are many villages and towns along the road of Sancha Lake, and it is not a waterfront area, it is not convenient for vehicles to enter. Therefore, I chose to ride a shared bicycle for a 15-kilometer round trip to Sancha Lake. There are many forks leading into the lake area along the way, which has a high safety factor and is suitable for a one-person cycling outing. The first stop of navigation: Sancha Lake Bicycle Rental Point. After parking the bike, continue navigating to Ma'anshan Observation Deck. 🚖Parking fee 10 yuan Tickets: 0 yuan 🚲 Shared bicycle round trip 10 yuan 🔶🔶Recommended photography spots along the way🔶🔶 ✅Taoyuanba Leisure Road, you can see Longquan Mountain in the distance from the dam, there are people fishing and camping by the lake, the water area is wide ✅There is an independent big tree in Sancha Lake Pomegranate Island Leisure Villa, giving you a feeling of being isolated from the world. You can camp under the tree and wait for the sunset. ✅Find the dam next to the tea bar and the gravel riverbank, it feels like walking on the seaside. ✅Bai San Road Dam, looking straight ahead from Xunjian Tea Bar, you can see the small orange-roofed house on the dam. ✅The highest point of the observation deck, overlooking the entire dam, it is best to wait until a red car passes by. ✅After returning to the starting point, follow Jiansan Road to the end. The waters are relatively narrow, so I prefer to use a telephoto lens to frame the picture. The edges of the islands are winding and crisscrossed. When taking pictures of the buildings on the opposite side, the mountains are crisscrossed and looming. The nearby buildings are located by the water, and the picture has a stronger sense of story. In general, families with children can choose free camping, families with many elders can book a farm stay, and couples or solo travelers can choose cycling to add points to the fun and photo-taking index.

Friends who don't want to travel far during the upcoming May Day holiday can consider the nearby Xia'er Lake! It's a beautiful lake view that can be reached in 1 hour by car or 2 hours by bus! Sancha Lake is similar to Qiandao Lake with many small islands! The best viewing spot is the Ma'anshan Viewing Platform where you can overlook Sancha Lake! Catching good weather, it's especially beautiful and photogenic! I personally think that the second floor of the viewing platform is really great for taking photos. There are a few glass houses on the shore that are cafes with a petty bourgeoisie atmosphere! Drinking coffee and eating simple meals (and the key is the prices are affordable)!! The tour boats at the pier can be paid to take a lake tour! Fun Fact: Did you know that Lake Sancha is actually a man-made lake? I always thought it was a natural lake, it really doesn't have any traces of human intervention. This hydraulic project is quite significant, being the second largest artificial lake in Sichuan Province, and the key question is how were so many islands excavated? We took a sightseeing boat around the lake, which took about 40 minutes, and the scenery was really nice, with lots of water birds and a superb ecosystem. If you drive yourself, it's even better, as you can drive around the lake and stop to enjoy the beautiful views whenever you want.
