West Lake, also known as Otome Lake or West Sea, is quiet and elegant, surrounded by dense forests, extending to the northwest foothills of Mount Fuji. She evokes deep, clear blue eyes with a hint of mystery. The Aokigahara Forest of Trees has quietly accompanied her for centuries on the west bank of the lake. There are many campsites by the lake, as well as the "West Lake Bat Cave", which is as warm as spring in winter, and the "Fuyue Wind Cave" with icicles in summer. West Lake is a quiet lake among the five lakes. According to legend, West Lake and Jingjin Lake were originally connected, but were divided into two lakes due to the eruption of Mount Fuji, but the bottoms of these two lakes are still connected to this day. There are scenic spots such as Hongye Terrace, Aokigahara Sea of Trees, Narizawa Ice Cave and Shiwada Mountain on the shore.
