From Wakayama to Kyoto, it's time to say goodbye to the rental car.

Day4️⃣:🚃 Poon Poon N to N (Nijojocho to Nishiki Market)
• Nijojocho 二条城町 (Nijo Castle)

[Tips]: Nijo Castle was the residence of Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the powerful Tokugawa clan, who ruled the country for more than 200 years. Built in 1603, Nijo Castle was purposely built above the nearby palace to show the power the shogun had over the dwindling emperor.

• Kinkaku-Ji Temple (Kyoto Golden Temple)

[Tips]: The highlight of this temple is the golden pavilion located by the pond.
The original pavilion was built in 1397 as a residence for Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu after his abdication. After the shogun died, it was converted into a temple. During the Onin War of 1467–1477,
the temple was burned down, but the most significant was in 1950.
The Golden Pavilion was burned down by a monk named Hayashi Yoken, who was insane, causing almost no damage to the temple. Therefore, the current Kyoto Golden Temple is The building was rebuilt in 1955, while still maintaining its original character. In 1994, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• Sagano romantic train

[Tips]: In autumn, you should book tickets online in advance because there are a lot of tourists. This train line is the best way to experience nature. And most importantly, you should book the Rich car.

• Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

[Tips]: It is a long bamboo forest path. There is a shrine inside to worship.
- Highlights: The ice cream shop at the exit, I must say the cone is delicious. The taste of the ice cream is so-so.
• Nishiki Market
🕰️Opening hours: Most shops close at 7pm, some at 11pm.
🎟️Admission fee: Depends on the shop.
[Tips]: It is a night market that focuses on seafood. I recommend bringing a lot of money.

Day5️⃣: Relax Day
• Ginkakuji Temple (Ginkaku Temple)

[Tips]: Kyoto's Silver Temple was built according to the design of Kyoto's Golden Temple, which is considered a companion temple. However, it is different from Kyoto's Golden Temple in its garden design. Temple Visit Sequence

• Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Clear Water Temple)

[Tips]: This is an older temple than Kyoto. It was built in 778, before Kyoto, which was founded in 794. Originally, this temple was associated with the Hosso sect, one of the oldest sects of Japanese Buddhism. However, in 1965, the temple established the Kita Hosso sect.

Day6️⃣: 💨 Move to Osaka

[Tips]: It is a food + entertainment area along the canal. Each shop is decorated with unique and beautiful light signs. It is recommended for those who like to sit and drink.
