Macau 3-Day Itinerary Day 1
Walk from The Venetian to Rua do Cunha, buy goat bakers, eat at Ma Jiao Tea Stall in Taipa, Lemoncello, stroll around Rua do Cunha, buy Andrew's Egg Tart, Lemon Tea, order from Ze Xian Ji, but had to wait for two hours, so we visited Carmo Hall, Taipa Houses-Museum, and Taipa Grande Hill Inclined Elevator Viewing Platform. After about two hours, we picked up our order from Ze Xian Ji and bought a pork chop bun from Tai Lei Loi Kei to eat back at the hotel. We walked back to the St. Regis Hotel from the Taipa Houses-Museum Wetland.
【Attractions】
1. Attraction Name + Introduction: Carmo Hall, Taipa Houses-Museum
These are iconic buildings in Macau, attracting many tourists with their green exterior. The complex includes five Portuguese-style houses, Carmo Church, and a library. You can explore the early residences of the Portuguese inside.
2. Attraction Name + Introduction: Taipa Grande Hill Inclined Elevator Viewing Platform
The inclined elevator has entrances on both sides of the road connected by a sky bridge. Once you take the elevator up, you reach the Taipa Grande Hill Viewing Platform, where you can see The Venetian, Taipa Houses-Museum Wetland Ecological Area, and Rua do Cunha.
【Food】
1. Restaurant + Must-Eat Dish: Andrew's Egg Tart
Andrew's Egg Tart has always been my number one egg tart. Every time I come to Macau, I must eat it and buy some to take back to Taiwan. You must eat one fresh out of the oven on the spot. The golden crispy outer layer, caramelized top, and sweet filling are incredibly delicious (be careful not to burn yourself). The texture is smooth and delicate, making you want to eat another one!
2. Restaurant + Must-Eat Dish: Milk Custard Flower Cup
The layers of the crispy outer shell are well-made and very flaky. When you take a bite, it crumbles everywhere, and the filling flows out, making it a messy but delicious experience. Besides Andrew's Egg Tart, this is another dessert shop I would visit again in Macau.
3. Restaurant + Must-Eat Dish: Lemoncello
This is another ice cream I must have every time I come to Macau! The lemon flavor is surprisingly delicious, with a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. The guava flavor is also very good, not too sweet, and the combination of the two is fantastic!
4. Restaurant + Must-Eat Dish: Ze Xian Ji
I ordered the Portuguese Tart Egg Waffle flavor. Initially, I thought it would just taste like regular egg waffles, but after waiting two hours and taking the first bite, I was amazed! No wonder it takes two hours; each bite is crispy on the outside and filled with rich Portuguese tart filling and caramel aroma. It's incredibly delicious!
5. Restaurant + Must-Eat Dish: Ma Jiao Tea Stall
I ordered the silky egg beef rice, French toast, a cup of iced lemon tea, milk tea, and Ma Jiao beef. The silky egg beef rice is delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs and well-seasoned beef. The French toast is average but not too greasy, which is great. The drinks are not too sweet and quite refreshing. Ma Jiao beef is milk tea with milk tea ice cream, very sweet.
【Accommodation Recommendation】
Hotel Name: The St. Regis Macao (Cotai Deluxe Room)
Hotel Address: The Londoner Macao, Estrada do Istmo, Cotai
The St. Regis Macao offers 24-hour private butler service. You can ask the butler to make coffee or tea in the morning. It is interconnected with Sheraton, Conrad, and The Londoner hotels, and connected by sky bridges to The Parisian and The Venetian hotels across the street, making it a great accommodation choice.

#100 Ways to Travel
Macau🇲🇴Guanye Street/Longhuan Portuguese Travel~
"Witness the love of the people of a naval colonel"
🌬️Introduction to attractions:
(1) Guanye Street is located at the "Pai Kok Station" of the Macau Light Rail Transit. Everyone's impression of Macau should be "casino", "glorious" or adjectives related to luxury. However, if you look carefully, you will find hidden things in many alleys. There are many historical buildings and nostalgic streets. "Guanye Street" is actually only one road away from the major luxury hotels in Macau, but it is indeed an "old town" that has completely preserved the Portuguese style~
The "Kuan Ye" in Guanye Street is actually a Portuguese naval colonel and the 81st Governor of Macau. He died of cholera less than two months after taking office. Guanye upholds the spirit of loving and respecting the people. , and actively promoted trade in the local area, catalyzing the local residents' love for Guanye. Today's Guanye Street is named in memory of the governor. During the Portuguese 🇵🇹 period, this place was also a place where many Portuguese people gathered, accounting for The land is not big, and it is more like an "alley" than a "street". However, because of its small hinterland, it can strengthen the communication and emotional connection between local residents. It is still the most prosperous area in the "old city" today.
(2) Dragon Ring Portuguese Rhyme:
"Dragon Circle" is the old name of Taipa, and "Portuguese Rhythm" is the orthodox Portuguese architectural style. This area used to be the residences of high-ranking officials and the residences of Macanese people. In 1992, the government transformed it into The Museum District is "one of the eight scenic spots in Macau" and is not far from Guanye Street. Together with Guanye Street, you can learn about the historical changes of Macau🇲🇴!
There are currently five Portuguese-style buildings in Longhuan Portuguese Style🏘️, namely:

Taipa Food Street
#freehotelstay
We recently visited Rua Do Cunha 官也街 or Cunha Street in English, is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa, the town centre of Taipa, named after the Portuguese explorer Tristão da Cunha.
Here you can find a couple of good Portuguese restaurants, like O Santos as well as a rather large Koi Kei Bakery, which we always enjoy stopping at for braised meat "jerky", almond biscuits and egg tarts. There are also some typical souvenir shops on Rua Do Cunha and the nearby streets.
The place is packed but worth the effort with some hidden gems to be found. Great photo ops around every corner.

Rua do Cunha|Experience the cinematic feeling in the alley
If you come to Macau, you must visit Rua do Cunha‼️
All the buildings on both sides of the street will make you feel
as if you have come to Europe
🔸Rua do Cunha is located in the old city of Taipa, known as the street of souvenirs, and also has the title of a gourmet street. After eating the signature rice at Heilan Coffee, follow the navigation and walk to Rua do Cunha.
🔸Macau is really a magical place, always giving you a flash of movie scenes. The streets are getting narrower, probably only a bus can pass through, and what comes into view is the blue-green house🏠 and the narrow slope.
🔸There are many small shops on the small road, full of color, a bit like walking on the streets of Europe. Even a small road sign is given color, and the photos are very good.
🔸When you get to the center of Rua do Cunha, there are more and more people, you will see beautiful wall paintings, and many coffee shops. On the right hand side, there are many Macau souvenirs. I recommend Huangji Bakery, worm cakes, almond cakes, etc. They are all good, just out of the pot, very fresh and delicious.
🔸Rua do Cunha was named in 1884, presenting the style of a European small town. Walking along Rua do Cunha, you can also find many treasure trails, a visual feast. Come for a city City walk, take a set of beautiful pretend pictures in Europe‼️
📍 Address: No. 20 Rua do Cunha, Our Lady of Carmel Parish, Taipa

2023 🇲🇴First trip dedicated to Macau, four days and three nights.
In 2023, we can fly freely again! The first stop is to go to neighboring Macau 🇲🇴.
✅Itinerary route
D1: Check in at MGM Macau - Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen
D2: Take a photo and check in 📸 Parisian Garden - Londoner - Coloane Island.
D3: October 5th Street - Bishop's Hill Chapel - Yiwan Slope
D4: Fisherman's Wharf - Ruins of St. Paul's - Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro
✅Clearance port
Go to Macau Peninsula: Gongbei Port and Qingmao Port. Tested personally, Gongbei has more direct shuttle buses to hotels, while Qingmao is faster but does not have shuttle buses.
✅About accommodation
This time I stayed at the MGM, an art palace, and the service and environment were really amazing!
✅About attractions
1⃣️Living in MGM allows you to see various art exhibitions and take great photos.
2️⃣️"Fisherman's Wharf", although small, can easily produce great photos.
3️⃣️Londoners, European-style architecture, super popular online check-in spot, expect long queues, not recommended to visit during holidays.
4️⃣Parisian Gardens, where you can check off the Eiffel Tower and experience French style.
5️⃣Guanye Street, the colorful houses are great for taking photos, but for food you can go elsewhere, there are just too many people here 😂.
6️⃣Dongwangyang New Street, take photos of the same style as National Geographic at the Grand Lisboa, there's not much to do here, only suitable for taking pictures and checking in.
✅About food
October 5th Street: Nanping Yaxu, Niuji Curry Cuisine, Street Desserts.
Around San Ma Lou: Century Coffee, Ming Kee Offal Cuisine, Longhua Tea House, Huan Ji Seafood Restaurant, Cai Shen Ye Seafood Stew Restaurant, Ma Qing Kang South Sky Cafe.
Heisha Huan: A Brother's Delicious Food
Taipa: Hei Lian Coffee, Eslite Coffee, Andrew's Road Central Branch, Ya Qi Garden Restaurant.
1️⃣Ma Qingkang South Heaven Cafe
Always queuing, even when there is a significant decrease in visitors during off-season, it still requires queuing!
🔥Must-try: BBQ pork with double eggs rice, crispy fried squid, scrambled egg with beef and rice noodles, Hong Kong-style milk tea.
.
2️⃣ Ze Xian Ji
Also a must-try for those who love queuing: "Portuguese egg tarts with egg waffles". The egg waffle has a super crispy outer layer, and when you bite into it, you'll taste the rich and creamy Portuguese egg tart filling! They also come in flavors like coffee, caramel, cheese, salted egg yolk, purple sweet potato, and taro paste.
.
3️⃣Jinli Restaurant
What most people recommend here are the Chicken and Shrimp with Double Sauce and the Curry Beef Brisket Rice. The curry is really fragrant and rich, and the soup base will give you a stunning feeling! Be sure to pair it with their homemade spicy sauce! Absolutely amazing!
.
4️⃣Bailemen Noodle Shop
After 5pm, the store will be closed, so if you want to eat, you have to come early! We recommend the pork chop with oil noodles and beef with noodles. The noodles are very fragrant with added pork oil, and they go well with curry sauce.
.
5️⃣ Rongji Beef Offal
Macau's beef offal is all amazing, but I have a special fondness for this one! I love their spicy sauce, and you have to add noodles to cook with it!
VictoriaMcDermott00
There are eight unmissable treats on Cunha Street: Sei Kee Cafe's clay pot coffee, Huangzhiji's shrimps with boiled noodles, Wangji Coffee's pork chop bun and curry fish balls, Hengyou's curry fish balls, Cheung Chau Pingji's mango glutinous rice balls, Gelatina Musang Mok Yi Kei's durian ice cream, Andrew's tart, and Wenji's taro sweetheart pastry.
lucky SHANGHAI.
If you don't want to be a coach potato in the hotel, Cunha Street is one of Taipa's best attractions. This street, which is over a hundred meters long, is home to several century-old shops. I strongly recommend visiting Gelatina Mok Yi Kei. The Taipa Houses-Museum and the Our Lady of Carmel Church are also a short distance away. The Rainbow Street is a great spot for photos.

Teach you how to eat the most authentic Portuguese cuisine in Macau!
Macau sequel to the store
want to eat the most authentic Portuguese cuisine:
1 First you have to have a Macau friend
2Macau friends are a foodie
When we still want to eat something at night, Macau friend JJ took
we went to a Portuguese restaurant not far from Guanye Street
with a bunch of questions to ask the chef, the original This shop is to do Portuguese Macao natives N home mixed dishes, the local chef, the chef is very nice, we asked questions and he answered with patience.
This store is a bit special, not the same as the previous store
Unique.
In this place, you can fully experience the taste and style here
Guan Ye Street is the old street on Taipa Island. The narrow Guanye Street doesn't seem to be long, but if you want to experience the taste and style of the whole, you need to have a big day to be enough.
In fact, there are a lot of old streets in Guanye Street, and many buildings have a strong Portuguese style. The Mediterranean-style carved windows, the colorful exterior walls, the windowsills and the corners of the flowers are all warm and Mediterranean.
Macau is like a city with graffiti and paintings that have a near paranoid preference. Even the electric box is painted with a unique style.
Not far from Guanye Street is the Longhuan-style architectural museum. Even if it is not too interesting for history, the scenery here is worth spending a little time on the lap. Next to the old building is the Wetland Park, plus the painted building, which is a big shot.
In the vicinity of Guanye Street, the temples in the traditional Chinese culture of the Temple of the Divine and the Tianhou Palace can make the church and the temple live in harmony, and make the Chinese and Western cultures and gods become neighbors. This unique The cultural scene may only be seen in Macau.

Location: Macau Guanye Street
Guanye Street is one of the places where tourists must punch cards. There are many online red food shops, like Mo Yi Ji, Andrew Portuguese, and Da Li Lai Ji. There are also many colorful houses that are perfect for taking pictures.
Photo avatar: Guanye Street has a lot of colorful walls, which is very suitable for taking multiple photos of yourself.
Step 1: Take two or more photos of the same angle, be sure to have the same angle, so that it is easy to synthesize.
Step 2: Use Picsart to synthesize photos, very easy to use app, if you don't understand, you can flip through my previous notes, there are detailed introductions.
Photo action small sharing
1[Use props] Ice cream, Coke bottle, etc. can be used as photo props, but be sure to avoid the feeling of posing, do not hold hard Props.
2[Do not shrug] I used to take pictures and often shrug my shoulders. I thought it was very "type" feeling, but it was very unnatural! The shoulders are naturally relaxed and smiling, so the photos taken are more natural.
3[Interaction with the scene] Guanye Street has a lot of interesting background walls and elements, such as Wangji Tea Restaurant, I use the hat and then down the milk tea, so the photos are more vivid and fun.
4[Don't really trust the
5[After picking up the foot and showing the leg length] When standing and taking pictures, pick up the back foot and lift the head up, which will make the leg length longer.

Guanye Street is a small road that is super red in Macau. The buildings on both sides are also colored. It is very good to take pictures. Looking at the mottled stone road recalls the time when I was eating a wave of sugar on the side of the road, just like me coming home from school.
This time I can't go back, it still makes me feel very good. The whole street is full of colorful composition. Guanye Street is particularly lively and people come and go. Everyone who comes here is smiling. The blue house looks very old and quite old-fashioned. As I began to discover the colors around me, more and more colors jumped in front of my eyes.
Loociwin.
Macau official street, a paradise for food. There are a lot of old-fashioned gourmet shops, biscuit shops and a lot of special Macao snacks.
The first thing you should strongly recommend is the piglet bag. One of the most famous foods in Macau, pork chop, come to Macau to taste.
After eating the pork chop, I seem to smell a sweet smell from afar. This kind of fragrance will not be forgotten, and the taste inside the sweet heart is the smell of Portuguese! I look for one window, I want to find the source of the outgoing taste. Sure enough, I found a Portuguese oyster shop, crispy chops, delicious egg tarts and delicious egg tarts made with caramelized cream. Can't help it, buy a dozen!
If you like to eat durian, don't miss the Maoshanwang Ice Cream Shop. This ice cream shop is also a local old name, especially for many people. Many people just came to try the durian ice cream in this store.
Loociwin.
Every time I see a local graffiti wall and a colored house in an unfamiliar city, I will stop and enjoy the visual impact of these special-colored buildings. I have no reason to like the alternative beauty of this city street! In the alleys around Guanye Street, it is not difficult to find these colorful exterior walls. The graffiti is very interesting. Unfortunately, no one has helped to take pictures. There are fewer people in this street. If you can't find someone to help, you have to use it. The camera records these beautiful pictures. In the area of Taipa, in addition to the distinctive Portuguese architecture, you can also visit the Chinese temples such as the Beidi Temple and the Tianhou Temple. These are the oldest temples in Taipa, which enshrine the northern part of the country. Protect the god of the Northern Emperor.

##
Warm winter Macau, with Macao snacks. If you like to eat local snacks in Macau, if you want to eat in Macau, you will not miss the official street. In this 115-meter-long, 5-meter-wide alley, a food store is crowded together. Compared to the food street in the Old City of St. Paul, there are fewer people here, but the local cuisine is not falling, cakes, pork chop, hibiscus pudding, durian ice cream, water crab porridge, almond cake, wife cake, Egg rolls, ginger sugar... everything, just listening to it has been drooling DC, as a food that is losing weight, I am also going out.
The first place to go is the morning tea shop recommended by the locals. The Pei Kee Coffee Room is a delicious cake. The cake is very dense and has a rich taste. The grain is distinct and large. There is a finishing touch on the cake. The
mud ice cream is cold and delicious, and the entrance is instant. The temperature in Macau is so hot that the ice cream is very rich. His family also recommended hibiscus cakes, there are five layers, and there are also hibiscus puddings.

A Stroll Through Rua do Cunha—Savoring the Old Charm of Macau
Walking into Rua do Cunha feels like opening a door to the past, instantly immersing you in the unique charm of Macau. This narrow street is lined with low-rise but colorful buildings, bustling shops, and the enticing aroma of food fills the air.
I stopped at an old pastry shop and tried a freshly baked almond cookie. It was crispy and sweet, leaving a lingering taste. Further down the street, the warm aroma from a Portuguese egg tart shop was irresistible, so I ordered one. The golden, crispy crust and rich egg flavor were satisfying with every bite.
At the corner souvenir shop, shelves were filled with dried meat, nut candies, and unique souvenirs. The enthusiastic shop owner introduced me to Macau's traditional handicrafts, and as I listened intently, I felt the historical memories hidden within.
As night fell, lanterns were lit, casting a warm orange glow over Rua do Cunha. This short street carries a rich culture and warmth, making it hard to leave. Rua do Cunha is not only a feast for the taste buds but also a cultural journey.

Rua do Cunha is not what it used to be.
After leaving Taipa Grande Natural Park, walk along the road next to the famous old Portuguese-style apartments to reach Rua do Cunha.
When we arrived at Rua do Cunha, we realized that it was no longer the same as when we visited before. The last time we visited Rua do Cunha was in 2015. At that time, Rua do Cunha referred to this short section of road, and the more famous shops, including Koi Kei, Tai Lei Loi Kei, and a Portuguese restaurant, were all concentrated on this short section of road. Now, Rua do Cunha includes several roads around Rua do Cunha, which means the entire block centered on Rua do Cunha. It has changed a lot.
Now, not only has the block expanded, but there are also many restaurants and shops, as well as many new internet-famous shops, such as Lao Die Beef Offal and Cheung Chau Glutinous Rice Balls. Even the old Tai Lei Loi Kei has opened two branches here. However, after taking a closer look, it seems that only Koi Kei has not changed its location, while the other shops have moved.
Although I have been to Macau three times and visited Rua do Cunha three times, each time I find it fresh and interesting. In addition to its architecture, food, and history and culture, which are fascinating, the continuous development of Macau itself also adds new fun for tourists from afar.

A guide to eating and shopping on Rua do Cunha in Macau.
When in Macau, most tourists will visit Rua do Cunha in Taipa to find delicious food. I am no exception. This time, I took a great city walk route on Rua do Cunha.
📍Route: Yick Loong Firecracker Factory - Rua do Cunha - Rua dos Clerigos - Taipa Houses
1⃣️Yick Loong Firecracker Factory has a history of nearly 100 years. The old site still retains the layout and environment of the factory. The exhibition hall reflects the prosperity of Macau's traditional firecracker industry in the 20th century and is a testament to Macau's modern industrial development. There are also regular explanations.
2⃣️Rua do Cunha is not long, but there are many delicious foods. I'm afraid it's impossible to taste them all at once. I ate the pork chop bun from Tai Lei Loi Kei, the durian glutinous rice cake from Cheong Chau Mochi, and the milk tea from Wong Chi Kei, which was very satisfying. I also bought some canned fish before I left.
3⃣️Rua dos Clerigos has beautiful murals that are very suitable for taking pictures. In fact, there may be surprises in some of the surrounding alleys. I recommend exploring.
4⃣️Taipa Houses, one of the eight scenic spots in Macau. Several Portuguese-style buildings are very suitable for taking pictures. I also bought a "spade" quicksand refrigerator sticker here, which I love.
🚌You can take bus No. 11, 15, 22, 30, 33, and 34 and get off at Rua do Cunha in Taipa. The bus fare in Macau is 6 MOP, and you can use the blue payment software.

Rua do Cunha.
Rua do Cunha is named after Pedro Alexandrino da Cunha, the 81st Governor of Macau. He was a colonel in the Portuguese navy and arrived in Macau on May 28, 1850 to take up the post of governor. Rua do Cunha presents the most typical three Mediterranean color combinations: blue and white, golden yellow and blue purple, earth yellow and reddish brown. There are about forty buildings on both sides of the street, most of which are two-story houses. The shops are relatively concentrated, and it can be said that it was the commercial center of Taipa in the past. Most of the shops are restaurants and souvenir shops, and there are also grocery stores and pharmacies.
Rua do Cunha is a gourmet souvenir street. From the afternoon to midnight, you can not only eat freshly made food on Rua do Cunha, but also appreciate the history, culture and market style of Macau. This historic old street, which is only more than 100 meters long, attracts thousands of tourists and old people every day with its unique food and culture, and has become a night market in Macau and even the Greater Bay Area. In the vigorous development of the night market economy today, the successful experience of Rua do Cunha is worth learning from. Whether you are looking for food, experiencing culture, reminiscing about history, or looking for a unique lifestyle, you can be satisfied on Rua do Cunha.

Rua do Cunha 🇲🇴 Taipa Food Street
#myhiddengems
For first time visitors to Macau looking for some local street food, Rua do Cunha in Taipa Village is a great place to start!
It is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa, the town centre of Taipa, Macau. The area is filled with shops, stalls, and vendors offering a range of delicious snacks, most freshly made on the premises. Rua do Cunha is also easily accessible via public transport.
Despite the long queue, we tried the famous beef offal, Andrew egg tarts (a must!), pork chop burger, and had some refreshing lemonade. Highly recommend to visit and have local Macanese street food and Portuguese meals here!
