We recently visited Rua Do Cunha 官也街 or Cunha Street in English, is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa, the town centre of Taipa, named after the Portuguese explorer Tristão da Cunha.
Here you can find a couple of good Portuguese restaurants, like O Santos as well as a rather large Koi Kei Bakery, which we always enjoy stopping at for braised meat "jerky", almond biscuits and egg tarts. There are also some typical souvenir shops on Rua Do Cunha and the nearby streets.
The place is packed but worth the effort with some hidden gems to be found. Great photo ops around every corner.

Rua do Cunha|Experience the cinematic feeling in the alley
If you come to Macau, you must visit Rua do Cunha‼️
All the buildings on both sides of the street will make you feel
as if you have come to Europe
🔸Rua do Cunha is located in the old city of Taipa, known as the street of souvenirs, and also has the title of a gourmet street. After eating the signature rice at Heilan Coffee, follow the navigation and walk to Rua do Cunha.
🔸Macau is really a magical place, always giving you a flash of movie scenes. The streets are getting narrower, probably only a bus can pass through, and what comes into view is the blue-green house🏠 and the narrow slope.
🔸There are many small shops on the small road, full of color, a bit like walking on the streets of Europe. Even a small road sign is given color, and the photos are very good.
🔸When you get to the center of Rua do Cunha, there are more and more people, you will see beautiful wall paintings, and many coffee shops. On the right hand side, there are many Macau souvenirs. I recommend Huangji Bakery, worm cakes, almond cakes, etc. They are all good, just out of the pot, very fresh and delicious.
🔸Rua do Cunha was named in 1884, presenting the style of a European small town. Walking along Rua do Cunha, you can also find many treasure trails, a visual feast. Come for a city City walk, take a set of beautiful pretend pictures in Europe‼️

官也都要行街 - Officials also need to shopping! Yeap that’s that it should!
Love this small area where you can easily fill up your hungry tummy, crave for desserts or even souvenirs!
Not to mention, there are many cute places for street pictures or graffiti by the staircase too!
Psst! We went in LRT from Cotai East (路氹東) for 3 stations to Pai Kok (排角) and walk for less than 10mins and here you are!

2023 🇲🇴First trip dedicated to Macau, four days and three nights.
In 2023, we can fly freely again! The first stop is to go to neighboring Macau 🇲🇴.
✅Itinerary route
D1: Check in at MGM Macau - Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen
D2: Take a photo and check in 📸 Parisian Garden - Londoner - Coloane Island.
D3: October 5th Street - Bishop's Hill Chapel - Yiwan Slope
D4: Fisherman's Wharf - Ruins of St. Paul's - Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro
✅Clearance port
Go to Macau Peninsula: Gongbei Port and Qingmao Port. Tested personally, Gongbei has more direct shuttle buses to hotels, while Qingmao is faster but does not have shuttle buses.
✅About accommodation
This time I stayed at the MGM, an art palace, and the service and environment were really amazing!
✅About attractions
1⃣️Living in MGM allows you to see various art exhibitions and take great photos.
2️⃣️"Fisherman's Wharf", although small, can easily produce great photos.
3️⃣️Londoners, European-style architecture, super popular online check-in spot, expect long queues, not recommended to visit during holidays.
4️⃣Parisian Gardens, where you can check off the Eiffel Tower and experience French style.
5️⃣Guanye Street, the colorful houses are great for taking photos, but for food you can go elsewhere, there are just too many people here 😂.
6️⃣Dongwangyang New Street, take photos of the same style as National Geographic at the Grand Lisboa, there's not much to do here, only suitable for taking pictures and checking in.
✅About food
October 5th Street: Nanping Yaxu, Niuji Curry Cuisine, Street Desserts.
Around San Ma Lou: Century Coffee, Ming Kee Offal Cuisine, Longhua Tea House, Huan Ji Seafood Restaurant, Cai Shen Ye Seafood Stew Restaurant, Ma Qing Kang South Sky Cafe.
Heisha Huan: A Brother's Delicious Food
Taipa: Hei Lian Coffee, Eslite Coffee, Andrew's Road Central Branch, Ya Qi Garden Restaurant.
1️⃣Ma Qingkang South Heaven Cafe
Always queuing, even when there is a significant decrease in visitors during off-season, it still requires queuing!
🔥Must-try: BBQ pork with double eggs rice, crispy fried squid, scrambled egg with beef and rice noodles, Hong Kong-style milk tea.
.
2️⃣ Ze Xian Ji
Also a must-try for those who love queuing: "Portuguese egg tarts with egg waffles". The egg waffle has a super crispy outer layer, and when you bite into it, you'll taste the rich and creamy Portuguese egg tart filling! They also come in flavors like coffee, caramel, cheese, salted egg yolk, purple sweet potato, and taro paste.
.
3️⃣Jinli Restaurant
What most people recommend here are the Chicken and Shrimp with Double Sauce and the Curry Beef Brisket Rice. The curry is really fragrant and rich, and the soup base will give you a stunning feeling! Be sure to pair it with their homemade spicy sauce! Absolutely amazing!
.
4️⃣Bailemen Noodle Shop
After 5pm, the store will be closed, so if you want to eat, you have to come early! We recommend the pork chop with oil noodles and beef with noodles. The noodles are very fragrant with added pork oil, and they go well with curry sauce.
.
5️⃣ Rongji Beef Offal
Macau's beef offal is all amazing, but I have a special fondness for this one! I love their spicy sauce, and you have to add noodles to cook with it!

There are eight unmissable treats on Cunha Street: Sei Kee Cafe's clay pot coffee, Huangzhiji's shrimps with boiled noodles, Wangji Coffee's pork chop bun and curry fish balls, Hengyou's curry fish balls, Cheung Chau Pingji's mango glutinous rice balls, Gelatina Musang Mok Yi Kei's durian ice cream, Andrew's tart, and Wenji's taro sweetheart pastry.
lucky SHANGHAI.
If you don't want to be a coach potato in the hotel, Cunha Street is one of Taipa's best attractions. This street, which is over a hundred meters long, is home to several century-old shops. I strongly recommend visiting Gelatina Mok Yi Kei. The Taipa Houses-Museum and the Our Lady of Carmel Church are also a short distance away. The Rainbow Street is a great spot for photos.

Macau sequel to the store
want to eat the most authentic Portuguese cuisine:
1 First you have to have a Macau friend

When we still want to eat something at night, Macau friend JJ took
we went to a Portuguese restaurant not far from Guanye Street
with a bunch of questions to ask the chef, the original This shop is to do Portuguese Macao natives N home mixed dishes, the local chef, the chef is very nice, we asked questions and he answered with patience.
This store is a bit special, not the same as the previous store
Unique.
In this place, you can fully experience the taste and style here
Guan Ye Street is the old street on Taipa Island. The narrow Guanye Street doesn't seem to be long, but if you want to experience the taste and style of the whole, you need to have a big day to be enough.
In fact, there are a lot of old streets in Guanye Street, and many buildings have a strong Portuguese style. The Mediterranean-style carved windows, the colorful exterior walls, the windowsills and the corners of the flowers are all warm and Mediterranean.
Macau is like a city with graffiti and paintings that have a near paranoid preference. Even the electric box is painted with a unique style.
Not far from Guanye Street is the Longhuan-style architectural museum. Even if it is not too interesting for history, the scenery here is worth spending a little time on the lap. Next to the old building is the Wetland Park, plus the painted building, which is a big shot.
In the vicinity of Guanye Street, the temples in the traditional Chinese culture of the Temple of the Divine and the Tianhou Palace can make the church and the temple live in harmony, and make the Chinese and Western cultures and gods become neighbors. This unique The cultural scene may only be seen in Macau.

Location: Macau Guanye Street
Guanye Street is one of the places where tourists must punch cards. There are many online red food shops, like Mo Yi Ji, Andrew Portuguese, and Da Li Lai Ji. There are also many colorful houses that are perfect for taking pictures.
Photo avatar: Guanye Street has a lot of colorful walls, which is very suitable for taking multiple photos of yourself.
Step 1: Take two or more photos of the same angle, be sure to have the same angle, so that it is easy to synthesize.
Step 2: Use Picsart to synthesize photos, very easy to use app, if you don't understand, you can flip through my previous notes, there are detailed introductions.
Photo action small sharing
1[Use props] Ice cream, Coke bottle, etc. can be used as photo props, but be sure to avoid the feeling of posing, do not hold hard Props.
2[Do not shrug] I used to take pictures and often shrug my shoulders. I thought it was very "type" feeling, but it was very unnatural! The shoulders are naturally relaxed and smiling, so the photos taken are more natural.
3[Interaction with the scene] Guanye Street has a lot of interesting background walls and elements, such as Wangji Tea Restaurant, I use the hat and then down the milk tea, so the photos are more vivid and fun.
4[Don't really trust the
5[After picking up the foot and showing the leg length] When standing and taking pictures, pick up the back foot and lift the head up, which will make the leg length longer.

Guanye Street is a small road that is super red in Macau. The buildings on both sides are also colored. It is very good to take pictures. Looking at the mottled stone road recalls the time when I was eating a wave of sugar on the side of the road, just like me coming home from school.
This time I can't go back, it still makes me feel very good. The whole street is full of colorful composition. Guanye Street is particularly lively and people come and go. Everyone who comes here is smiling. The blue house looks very old and quite old-fashioned. As I began to discover the colors around me, more and more colors jumped in front of my eyes.
Loociwin.
Macau official street, a paradise for food. There are a lot of old-fashioned gourmet shops, biscuit shops and a lot of special Macao snacks.
The first thing you should strongly recommend is the piglet bag. One of the most famous foods in Macau, pork chop, come to Macau to taste.
After eating the pork chop, I seem to smell a sweet smell from afar. This kind of fragrance will not be forgotten, and the taste inside the sweet heart is the smell of Portuguese! I look for one window, I want to find the source of the outgoing taste. Sure enough, I found a Portuguese oyster shop, crispy chops, delicious egg tarts and delicious egg tarts made with caramelized cream. Can't help it, buy a dozen!
If you like to eat durian, don't miss the Maoshanwang Ice Cream Shop. This ice cream shop is also a local old name, especially for many people. Many people just came to try the durian ice cream in this store.
Loociwin.
Every time I see a local graffiti wall and a colored house in an unfamiliar city, I will stop and enjoy the visual impact of these special-colored buildings. I have no reason to like the alternative beauty of this city street! In the alleys around Guanye Street, it is not difficult to find these colorful exterior walls. The graffiti is very interesting. Unfortunately, no one has helped to take pictures. There are fewer people in this street. If you can't find someone to help, you have to use it. The camera records these beautiful pictures. In the area of Taipa, in addition to the distinctive Portuguese architecture, you can also visit the Chinese temples such as the Beidi Temple and the Tianhou Temple. These are the oldest temples in Taipa, which enshrine the northern part of the country. Protect the god of the Northern Emperor.

##
Warm winter Macau, with Macao snacks. If you like to eat local snacks in Macau, if you want to eat in Macau, you will not miss the official street. In this 115-meter-long, 5-meter-wide alley, a food store is crowded together. Compared to the food street in the Old City of St. Paul, there are fewer people here, but the local cuisine is not falling, cakes, pork chop, hibiscus pudding, durian ice cream, water crab porridge, almond cake, wife cake, Egg rolls, ginger sugar... everything, just listening to it has been drooling DC, as a food that is losing weight, I am also going out.
The first place to go is the morning tea shop recommended by the locals. The Pei Kee Coffee Room is a delicious cake. The cake is very dense and has a rich taste. The grain is distinct and large. There is a finishing touch on the cake. The
mud ice cream is cold and delicious, and the entrance is instant. The temperature in Macau is so hot that the ice cream is very rich. His family also recommended hibiscus cakes, there are five layers, and there are also hibiscus puddings.

Rua do Cunha 🇲🇴 Taipa Food Street
#travelanywhere
For first time visitors to Macau looking for some local street food, Rua do Cunha in Taipa Village is a great place to start!
It is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa, the town centre of Taipa, Macau. The area is filled with shops, stalls, and vendors offering a range of delicious snacks, most freshly made on the premises. Rua do Cunha is also easily accessible via public transport.
Despite the long queue, we tried the famous beef offal, Andrew egg tarts (a must!), pork chop burger, and had some refreshing lemonade. Highly recommend to visit and have local Macanese street food and Portuguese meals here!

Macau's TOP Food Hub | To enjoy delicious food, you must visit Rua do Cunha~
In the southern district of Taipa Island in Macau, there is a famous food street bustling with tourists all year round—Rua do Cunha, from the southernmost "Wong Chi Kei Coffee" to the northernmost "Koi Kei Bakery", the street is not long, about a hundred meters, but it gathers a variety of snacks and souvenir shops on both sides~ Here you can taste authentic Macanese snacks, and many shops have been opened by generations of families.
🌟Foodie Check-in Tips:
1⃣️Andrew's Egg Tarts: This is a well-known delicacy that everyone knows whether they have been here or not, the famous Portuguese egg tart in Macau is from this place~
2⃣️Lao Day Beef Offal: The shop with the longest queue, after walking back and forth on the street three times, the queue only got longer, so I gave up and went,
3⃣️Ordered beef offal at Seng Cheong Restaurant and found it to be delicious, especially with their homemade chili sauce. Of course, the most famous is their crab congee~ And most importantly, they have tables and chairs where you can sit and eat while enjoying the breeze from a fan.
4⃣️Wong Chi Kei Coffee, Hing Kei Coffee Room: Although there is a Starbucks on this street, it is not as crowded as these two local Macanese coffee shops, perfect for a post-meal drink~
5⃣️Mok Yee Kei: Durian pudding cake is probably the favorite of durian lovers~ Hand-beaten milk tea is also good~
6⃣️Tai Lei Loi Kei Pork Chop Bun: A Macanese specialty, a classic from an old shop!
7⃣️Official Scenery Portuguese Restaurant: This is also a restaurant frequented by locals.
8⃣️Koi Kei, Fong Kei, Yeng Kee: These are all well-known local souvenir biscuit shops, with Macanese specialties like almond cookies, pork jerky, etc. Souvenir shops usually have samples at the door to attract business, so you can try before you buy, which is very practical~
9⃣️Hong Kong Kai Kai Dessert: A newly opened shop, the famous old Hong Kong shop that always has queues has opened a branch on Rua do Cunha. The Hong Kong head shop is run by an elder brother, and the Macau branch is run by a younger brother, the desserts are made with the same recipe~
——————————
🍀Friendly Reminder:
1⃣️Although there are many snacks on Rua do Cunha, most of the shops do not provide tables and chairs, so you'll see most people standing on the roadside to eat~
2⃣️A few of the street food shops accept Alipay, but it's also necessary to prepare enough Macanese pataca cash (Hong Kong dollars are also accepted)
3⃣️If you stay in a hotel near The Venetian, you can basically walk to this street in about 20 minutes, just follow the navigation.
4⃣️Don't go too early, if you arrive early, you can only take pictures of the graffiti on the walls, the shops on both sides of the street start to open around 10 am and close around 9 pm~

Rua do Cunha in Macau | A street of souvenirs, a street of delicacies, a street of beautiful scenery
Macau is a small but beautiful tourist city. When traveling to Macau, to find the local atmosphere of this city, you must visit Rua do Cunha.
The whole street is only 121 meters long and 5 meters wide, and it is also known as Macau's souvenir street. 'Souvenirs' usually refer to small gifts brought back to family and friends after traveling or working, similar to keepsakes. The value of a souvenir lies not in its cost, but in the sentiment behind it.
Rua do Cunha has many colorful houses, where local architecture and exotic styles blend together, creating a cheerful atmosphere. Entering Rua do Cunha from the squares on both sides, and walking into the alleys, you can find many photogenic colorful houses. Climbing the stairs near the Venetian side of the square, you can also see various special graffiti and uniquely shaped houses.
Rua do Cunha is right next to one of Macau's eight scenic spots, the Portuguese charm of the Dragon Ring. Walking down this staircase full of urban character, you will face the famous Rua do Cunha. The murals on the walls of the staircase change regularly with the seasons, and many tourists in Macau take photos here.
There are many time-honored brands on Rua do Cunha, including the century-old Koi Kei Bakery and Chu Kei Souvenirs. Photos always feature the signs of these shops. Chu Kei Souvenirs is a popular shop among tourists, famous for its almond pastries, gold button pastries, candied orange peel cakes, Portuguese-style pineapple pastries, flaky wife cakes, Portuguese-style cookies, Portuguese-style knot candies, and snowflake almond slices.
Walking through Rua do Cunha, the air is filled with the aroma of beef offal, almond cookies, ginger candy, and durian pastries. Perhaps this is the so-called taste of Macau, making one unable to resist the urge to eat something to satisfy a craving. The egg tarts from Lord Stow's Bakery are very authentic, with the most delicious being freshly baked, featuring a crispy crust and sweet filling, leaving a pleasant memory.
After tasting the most authentic Lord Stow's egg tarts, you must also try the sawdust cake at Rua do Cunha's Mustard Seed. Sawdust cake is a distinctive Portuguese dessert in Macau. The 'sawdust' is actually made from ground Marie biscuits, layered with Marie biscuit crumbs and cream, then frozen in the refrigerator. Mustard Seed's cake has five layers, cool and refreshing, melting in the mouth, and so delicious it's heavenly! A must-visit dessert shop for foodies!

Free Check-in at Macau's Fresh Photography Hotspot. Macau tourism has been really popular lately~
And it's also a shopping paradise~
Today, I'm going to share with you the Guanye Street near the hotel. Macau always gives the impression of being colorful, with a variety of color schemes of Portuguese-style buildings clashing together, which is really suitable for photography. This time I went to Guanye Street, which is one of the busiest commercial streets in Macau, with many historical buildings, delicacies, and shopping venues. This time, I strolled and stopped to collect different fragments of colors.
Free check-in, adding a rainbow to the trip to Macau.
•
Not only are there various colored houses on Guanye Street
but there are also many snacks and souvenir shops~
If you want to try local specialties, I would recommend trying the Portuguese egg tarts and pork chop buns. Any shop is pretty good.

Macau Day Trip Guide | Prepare in advance for a smooth journey
❗Important Tip: Be sure to prepare a power bank! Be sure to prepare a power bank! Be sure to prepare a power bank!!!
🥰Pre-trip Preparation
1️⃣Fill out the 'Customs Passenger Fingertip Service' health declaration, valid for 24 hours.
2️⃣Activate international roaming.
3️⃣Prepare cash, which can be exchanged for Hong Kong dollars or Macanese pataca at the port. I exchanged 200 pataca for taking the bus (there are also bus staff who can make change for you), no need to exchange if not taking the bus. WeChat and Alipay are accepted at most merchants, it is recommended to use Alipay for automatic currency conversion.
4️⃣Carry your ID card and Hong Kong and Macau pass; only the Hong Kong and Macau pass is needed for crossing the border, while the ID card is needed for currency exchange.
🥰My Mode of Travel
【Self-driving】Depart from Zhuhai Hengqin at 7:30 in the morning, navigate directly to the Hengqin Port parking lot (parking fee is about 50 yuan). The process of entering and exiting Hengqin Port is very smooth. After clearing customs, go up the escalator on the left hand side, and queue at the end to take the shuttle bus.
🚌Shuttle Bus Route: Passes through The Parisian, The Venetian, and The Londoner hotels, with the destination station chosen based on your needs. These three attractions are very close to each other, with multiple shopping malls for leisure and shopping. I chose The Venetian as my main destination. Note: The first shuttle bus starts at 9:30 am, if you need to arrive early, consider taking a taxi (it is recommended to pay in Macanese pataca, as paying in RMB will not get you a favorable exchange rate)
🥰Sightseeing Route: Hengqin ➡️ The Venetian ➡️ Rua do Cunha ➡️ Ruins of St. Paul's ➡️ Monte Fort ➡️ New Yaohan ➡️ Nam Van Lake. Nam Van Lake is a tranquil place, sitting and enjoying the breeze is very pleasant.
🥰Food Recommendations: On Rua do Cunha, there's Lao Day beef offal, Tai Lei Loi Kei pork chop bun, Mok Yi Kei durian ice cream, Cheung Chau glutinous rice dumplings (optional, as they are filling and may reduce the experience of tasting other foods), Ma Jiao Tea Stall, and Secolo cafe. If you need to buy souvenirs, I recommend Koi Kei's egg rolls, they are very delicious!
🥰Return Route: The shuttle bus may not be timely, and you need to return to The Venetian station to wait for it, so it's better to take the 25B bus back (6 Macanese pataca), which is convenient and fast.
Precautions⚠️
You can fully explore all the attractions on the route in one day, with time to spare. Note that phone battery is very important, so please be sure to carry a power bank, as some areas do not have power bank rental services, and friends who take photos should pay attention.

In Macau (33) | View | Digging in the garden of origami
✅ Summer, the evening after a downpour, must be very beautiful.
📍 The sky is filled with splendid clouds spreading across the west, and even as the afterglow of the sunset fades, it still reflects the city's buildings enveloped in a warm, colorful mist. To the east, the sky alternates between the green of distant mountains and the blue of the far ocean, deep and vast, lending a somewhat surreal unreality to the objects in the foreground.
✅ Summer, needs nightlife, and the old town of Cotai and Galaxy are excellent places.
📍 Rua do Cunha, Fortress Street, Rua do Tercena, Olympic Sports Center are all great places for eating and walking around, and if you eat too much, you can exercise to digest. A variety of eateries are scattered around, with flavors from all over the world converging here: full meals, light meals, snacks, Chinese food, Western food, Portuguese cuisine, Hong Kong-style tea restaurants, Asian fusion meals, beef offal, shark fin, pork chop buns, bacalhau balls, cartoon character noodles, live seafood hot pot, red wine steak candlelight dinners, and so on, with richness and simplicity depending on the individual. There's plenty for late-night snacks too, a hearty meal or a luxurious feast of abalone and dragon, each with its own taste, each finding its own joy.
✅ Walk to the corner, chasing the last glimmer of twilight.
📍 The archway and pavilion of Cotai are Auntie's favorites, the ripples that stirred in her heart at first sight are continuous and still present to this day. Columns, corridors, roofs, arches, mountain flowers, and the yellow with white borders, with their simple and bright Southern European style, shine in the morning glow, light up the lights, are brilliant in the sunlight, hazy in the drizzle, and stand out in any scene, exuding a sense of peace and tranquility, a feeling of home. Perhaps, this is where my heart finds peace?
✅ Walk to Galaxy, encounter a beautiful garden.
📍 Across the street, the high-rise buildings and the glittering Galaxy resort seem like another planet, very much like a galaxy. Enter the East Wing lobby, and a corner of the garden stops you in your tracks, with its soft colors bringing a refreshing visual experience. Flowers, birds, fish, and insects that seem to have crossed over from the land of adults, though large in size, do not hinder their lifelike appearance. Upon closer inspection, they turn out to be origami works. Is it the palace of the Sea Dragon King? Birds stand in cages, fish swim in the sky.
📍 Scan the code, influence, check in, from crystal, to opal, to pearl, to diamond, making a full circle, digging in the four gardens, Auntie, who considers herself unique, willingly falls into the cliché, registers as a member, and collects a bunch of discount coupons
📍 In the Pearl lobby, behind the huge Rabbit Lord, there are two pillars with LED screens, with beauties, jewelry, watches, and bags constantly changing, always accompanied, must be very happy.
✅ The nightlife of summer, full of visual delights, is quite good.

Macau Citywalk! A new world at the end of Rua dos Ervanarios
Macau's Rua dos Ervanarios has such an artistic side🌿
Usually, everyone strolls around the bustling snack street, but if you keep walking straight and turn left at the stairs in picture 4, you'll find the gates to a new world.
There's a large lotus garden, where the lotuses are planted in water basins, and the sight of them all together is quite spectacular. There's also a small pond with dry ice, which gives the illusion of being in the water towns of the Jiangnan region, rather than in Macau . There's also a row of blue-green houses, some of which you can visit for free, and some are bookstores and souvenir shops

1. Macau Tower
Macau Tower, standing at 338 meters, is a landmark of Macau that combines sightseeing, dining, business, and adventure sports. You can enjoy the surrounding scenery from the observation decks on the 58th or 61st floor, and the dazzling night view is not to be missed.
2. Ruins of St. Paul's
The Ruins of St. Paul's are of Baroque style, built with granite, and are divided into five levels. The carvings and inlays are quite exquisite, blending the essence of Chinese and Western architectural art, making it an artwork where cultures converge.

Macau | Koi Kei Snack Street, many shops have long queues early in the morning
🚗 Taipa, located between Macau Peninsula and Coloane, is home to Macau's souvenir street--Koi Kei Street, right in Taipa. A large number of restaurants, dessert shops, and souvenir shops are concentrated on Koi Kei Street. A street over a hundred meters long and a few meters wide has become a popular spot in Macau.
🚗 Here you can find famous local bakeries such as Koi Kei Bakery, Choi Heong Yuen, and Fong Kei Bakery. Almond cookies, Phoenix rolls, and chicken biscuits can all be purchased on this street. In addition to various souvenir shops, Koi Kei Street also offers plenty of delicious food to feast on, such as Seng Cheong Restaurant's crab congee, Mok Yi Kei's ice cream, and Tai Lei Loi Kei's pork chop bun. Of course, when you come here for a stroll, just eat whatever catches your eye; the taste will not disappoint.
🚗 On Sunday mornings, Koi Kei Street is already bustling with long queues at many shops by 10 o'clock, and tourists are bustling and continuously coming and going. There are many snacks, and if you have time, it's worth a visit.

I captured a picturesque moment in Macau
Macau, a magical city. On cloudy days, it is bathed in the sediment of history; on sunny days, it lights up the joy in one's heart. In this charming city, there are so many places that intoxicate, especially under the azure sky, it looks even more beautiful.
Here, I want to introduce two must-visit attractions located on the Macau Peninsula and Taipa, which are two dazzling pearls integrated into Macau's culture.
Rua do Cunha, what comes to your mind first? Souvenirs, crowds, or beef offal and egg tarts? For me, Rua do Cunha means colorful buildings and vibrant scenery. Even though Rua do Cunha is only a few steps long, its shops and alleys contain a rich variety of elements, each frame as moving as a painting.
Tips for visiting Rua do Cunha:
Given the short length of Rua do Cunha and the numerous shops, famous beef offal, Lord Stow's Bakery, and various coffee shops attract long queues, so it's essential to pick the right time to visit. I recommend setting off early in the morning, before ten o'clock, when there are relatively fewer people, and many businesses have not yet opened. This moment is the perfect time for exploring and taking photos. Once the shops open, quickly queue up to taste the food, capture beautiful moments, and then leave. This way, you can avoid the crowds and enjoy both the food and the scenery. Otherwise, Rua do Cunha crowded with people may not be a good choice.
Fisherman's Wharf, let's talk again about this beautiful spot located on the eastern part of the Macau Peninsula. Perhaps because of its uniqueness, some people might miss the chance to visit. Undoubtedly, popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's are more well-known. However, if you have spare time, why not take a detour to Fisherman's Wharf and appreciate its unique charm, as if stepping back in time into ancient Roman-style European architecture.
Suggestions for visiting Fisherman's Wharf:
The area of Fisherman's Wharf is not vast, I chose to go there in the early morning when there were few people, capturing many serene scenes. It is most suitable for friends who love photography to visit, even just walking around once won't take up too much time. If, like me, you live nearby and have plenty of time, I highly recommend spending some time to enjoy the beauty here.

Macao | The Taipa Houses-Museum and the surrounding wetlands
🚗 The Taipa Houses-Museum is a thematic museum dedicated to cultural heritage, located on the seaside road of Taipa Island. It covers an area of about 2,500 square meters, with an exhibition area of about 500 square meters. It is situated behind The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, not far from Rua do Cunha, and can be visited together with Rua do Cunha.
🚗 The wetland area of the Taipa Houses-Museum spans 115,000 square meters and is Macao's most significant natural freshwater wetland. Despite its unassuming appearance, the wetland's edge near the Grand Taipa Hill is a forest area exceeding 19,000 square meters with dense vegetation, attracting a large number of egrets for nesting and breeding. This is one of Macao's unique landscapes, and this wetland is also known as 'Egret's Forest'.
🚗 It might be the only green space around the casino area, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk there from Sheraton. It's closer to Rua do Cunha, and to be honest, it's not very distinctive. You'll see locals coming here to walk their dogs. There's a small garden, and next to it is a lake, which you might want to visit when you go to Rua do Cunha.

⚠️ Things to prepare in advance
Hong Kong and Macau Pass, power bank, overseas data plan (1G is enough)
📍 Ruins of St. Paul's: You can search for some popular photo spots to take pictures. The place is too crowded, so just have a quick look and move on. Ate a bamu egg tart, really crispy on the outside and tender inside! Drank the Hui Zhen Ji Macau milk tea (just so-so)
📍 Souvenir Street: Eat to your heart's content with just one gesture, mainly pork and beef jerky, almond cookies, egg rolls, and other souvenirs
📍 Wynn Macau: Watch the Tree of Prosperity show (only happens on the hour, remember to reserve time)
📍 Rua do Cunha: Lots of delicacies, had beef offal from Lao Day for late-night snack
Macau is really tough on the legs, remember to wear comfortable shoes for walking‼️
