Located 5 minutes from main road of Cherating, once you reach the security guard house, you need to park the car at dedicated parking spaces and a resort buggy will come and pick you and bring you to the lobby. Once get the room number, the resort staff will bring you to your room. Once we enter the room, we are so mesmerised with the beautiful paintings like of the ocean and forest view. I would rate this place 10/10. Nothing can beat this beautiful view, the serenity around it, the big room, the coffee machine, the staff services and breakfast buffet. I love everything about it. Resort : Royal Chulan Cherating Villa Room Type : Ocean Suite with Balcony Note: this resort is not wheelchair and stroller friendly as there are a lot of stairs.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and excellent service provided by the staff. The guarded areas and secure car park provided peace of mind during my stay. The villa itself was clean and well-appointed, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the mini snack bar for the local street food. It’s cute! Though the prices were slightly higher, the quality and taste of the food made it worth the extra cost. Overall, it truly exceeded my expectations and made for a wonderful staycation. Spectacular sea view!

Everything almost perfect, especially the view! Can see sunrise and sunset from the balcony in a good weather. We absolutely love the location near the beach! But i hope they can expand more activities for kids. Breakfast buffet also need improvement. But overall, this place can be a relaxing trip! Parking 🚗: Got a private parking place. Getting There - Most convenient would be by private transport as you would need to drive about to look for food or necessities. Attractions - Definitely got to be the South China Sea within reach! If you are talking about nearby amenities, it’ll be great to drive out of the premises to hunt for food or visit the supermarket which is about 8-10 minutes’ drive. Hotels - There are other similar resorts around but this got to be the best! Additionally, the villas look like they just underwent some renovation so basically the rooms are clean and not run down.#beachlife Food & Restaurants - Food at the villa’s restaurant is awesome! Ours came with breakfast, which was convenient as the whole idea was to stay in, enjoy the facilities and views and not head out Price is pretty decent for something top class, costs about SGD350/night for a family villa. Comes with 2 bedrooms. Rating - 4.8/5. The remaining 0.2 I was hoping for watersports facilities or Spa services available. It’s a amazing place for staycation with my family. The location is fabulous because it’s directly connected to the private beach. You will definitely shine your day at the beach with less crowded. In fact, there are private swimming pool for you to go instead of the beach. From the room, you can enjoy the sound of waves and sea breeze. It’s a perfect holiday when you have a excellent property with great facilities and views. Royale Chulan Villa - Gem of East Coast

We recently spent a night at the RC Cherating Villa, a Royale Chulan property. The hillside resort was perfect for our needs, and we got a fantastic deal on our stay here (read : booked via trip.com) The RC Villa is located on a hilly side, overlooking Cherating Bay (well known for surfing 🏄‍♀️). We were assigned a 1 bedroom villa (room 106) which offers unobstructed view of the Bay and two 2-bedroom villas (117 & 118). Which room to avoid? - 116, 117 (blocked view) and Ocean Suite (less privacy coz next to swimming pool. You have to close curtains all day long) Things to improve? : i. Breakfast. You won’t feel having breakfast at 5* hotel here. Royale Chulan is usually known for its interesting food & beverage outlets but certainly not here. ii. Safety. Guard should be stationed at the beach entrance to avoid trespassers. Things to note : No cars allowed in the resort. They use buggies to transport guests from parking area to resort. you can walk actually(read hiking), not that far. Despite all these, I’d gladly return. Very beautiful resort indeed. Hopefully service will be improved in future. To me, Royale Chulan Cherating Villa is best staycation accommodation for family trip. It located at the best coastline of east coast of Malaysia, also the best beach of Malaysia east coast. The Villa is only 7 years old as at year 2024, everything is well maintained, with nice swimming pools, private beach and tasty food provided by hotel cafe. The Royale Chulan Cherating Villas (RCCV), sebuah hotel 5 bintang yang terletak di lereng bukit tepi pantai di Kg. Cherating Lama. Mengikut penceritaan staf di sini, dahulunya sebahagian kawasan ini merupakan rumah rehat Keluarga Diraja Pahang, sebelum diambilalih, direnovasi dan dijadikan hotel dibawah jenama The Royale Chulan. Sekiranya tidak menempah bilik di sini, pengunjung luar tidak dibenarkan masuk. Di pintu masuk di kaki bukit, pegawai keselamatan memeriksa dahulu kenderaan dan 'booking confirmation' sebelum benarkan kami masuk. Memang ketat sungguh kawalan keselamatan. Kenderaan pula hanya boleh parking di kaki bukit. Tramp/van akan jemput di lot parking dan bawa kita ke lobi hotel yang terletak di puncak bukit untuk pendaftaran. Setelah mendaftar masuk, tramp/van akan menghantar kita beserta luggage ke bilik masing². Seusai melangkah masuk ke lobi RCCV, anda pasti akan terpesona melihat pemandangan memukau yang disajikan. Dengan senibina tradisi-moden gabungan kayu & cermin, teruja sungguh melihat hamparan lautan biru dengan ombak putih menghempas jajaran pantai. MashaAllah, itu sahaja dapat diungkapkan melihat keindahan alam ciptaan Tuhan. Kami disambut mesra oleh staf frontdesk yang bertugas. Satu ruangan khas diberikan buat keluarga kami sementara menunggu pendaftaran. Staf datang ke ruang rehat kami, menerangkan dengan jelas segala perincian tentang hotel ini. Begitulah layanan dan servis di RCCV, kita tak perlu datang kepada mereka, bukan selalu dapat kami rasa. Hehe Kami ambil bilik jenis Ocean Suite, yang terletak di kaki bukit dan menghadap pantai. Sekali lagi terkesima sebaik melangkah masuk ke bilik ini. Dengan binaan dinding kaca di tepi dan hadapan bilik, pemandangan laut dan pantai akan menemani kita sepanjang siang dan malam. Ocean Suite ini berada betul² di hadapan kolam renang dan paling dekat dengan pantai. Bilik² lain terletak di lereng dan puncak bukit, agak mencabar juga jika nak turun naik ke pool dan pantai. Bilik kami cukup luas dan selesa. Ada set sofa, juga set meja makan untuk 2 orang. Apa yang kurangnya bilik ini, hanya katil Queen diberikan. Saya fikir lebih sesuai diletakkan katil King kerana bilik cukup besar. Selain itu, wifi agak slow dan mangkuk jamban sedikit rendah daripada ketinggian standard. Pantainya pula landai, bersih dan airnya jernih. Walaupun air pasang, tidak perlu risau untuk mandi-manda di sini. Kita juga boleh lihat kera dan lotong bermain dan mencari makan di sekitar pantai dan hotel. Selain daripada aktiviti pantai, anda juga boleh memanjakan diri di spa atau cuba hiking di Bukit RCCV. Ada trail khas disediakan untuk sampai ke puncak. Kata staf, ada gazebo di puncak bukit untuk pendaki berehat dan mengambil gambar pemandangan Cherating seluas mata memandang.
