I just attended a very romantic and intimate wedding at Rowan and Parsley in Johor Bahru. It is a garden 🪴 cafe in the day and is opened for events and wedding functions. It seems to be a popular wedding venue for its photogenic interior and exterior. Location is not so mainstream but it’s totally worth a trip to check it out. The set up was totally different from the tradition Chinese wedding. It’s so lovely to be surrounded by luscious greens. Lots of effort was put into the decoration and the space is perfect for a small wedding. It gives a rustic and industrial vibes. Good wise was okay as it’s a pre-selected meal by the couples. The appetiser - avocado 🥑 with prawn was good. Have to give the dessert - apple crumble with ice cream a big shoutout as it served as a really nice end to the meal. The atmosphere was very romantic and pleasant. There’s also an outdoor area where couples can hold their ceremony. Place: Rowan and Parsley food artelier Address: 📍17, Jalan Cenderai 20, Taman Perindustrian Kota Puteri, 81750 Masai, Johor, Malaysia User rating: 10/10 The most beautiful ambience with lush green plants and iconic furniture to enjoy honestly one of the most delicious food and drinks found in cafes We had the tacos ordered individually with prawn and pork and they were juicy, flavourful and perfectly presented For mains we had the big brother benedict and a pasta, both of which are top tier standards too for flavour! For drinks the barista went above and beyond and even designed a pegasus which was extremely impressive onto my hot chocolate (pic 9) Definitely a must try #jb #jbcafe #jbcafes #jbcafehunt
