Trip Planning
Day 1: Get close to nature
In the morning, we went to Iztuzu Beach, where the sand is fine and the water is blue. You can see small crabs running around on the beach, and if you’re lucky you may even see turtles coming ashore to lay eggs. At noon, we tasted seafood at a restaurant near the beach. The freshly caught fish and shrimp were extremely fresh.
In the afternoon, head to the Dalaman River, rent a small boat, and leisurely sail downstream. There are dense jungles on both sides of the river, and birds fly by from time to time, adding vitality to the journey. You can stop at a suitable place in the river and jump into the water for a refreshing swim.
Day 2: Exploring the humanities
In the morning, we visited the Dalaman Museum, which has a rich collection of items, from ancient pottery to traditional costumes, all of which showcase the city’s long history and cultural heritage. Take a closer look and learn about the past and present of Dalaman.
In the afternoon, stroll through the streets of the old town, where colorful houses are scattered around. Visit local shops and pick out unique handicrafts. Sit down in a street cafe, order a cup of Turkish coffee, sip it slowly, and feel the leisurely time of the locals.
Day 3: Enjoy your leisure time
In the morning, we will go to the local hot springs. The hot springs in Dalaman are rich in minerals and are very beneficial to the body. Relax and wash away your tiredness in the warm spring waters.
Go to the market in the afternoon to shop. You will be overwhelmed by the fresh fruits, fragrant spices, and various special snacks. You can buy some fruits and snacks and find a park grass area for a picnic.
In the evening, I went to the beach to watch the sunset. The afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the sea, making the waves sparkle. Quietly appreciate this beautiful scenery and bring this trip to a perfect end.
