[2025 Bangkok Restaurant] Travel Guide for Roast (Updated Feb)

I stopped by the roast coffee and eatery a couple of times. Mostly early noons on weekdays. And trued their desserts and coffee. Something about this concrete themed design. I know a dozen cafe's and hostels in bangkok that look the exact same. Just a thought. May be concrete needs to be given a break. Speaking of the cafe, its a Lovely place especially for brunch in Bangkok. It is pretty popular so the prices may not be all that amusing. The dishes were all around 300-400 range which is slightly pricey for Thailand standards especially if you are eating locally. But the food and drink offerings are decent. I have acid reflux issues and i cant do a lot of acidic drinks, but the ice latte here did not trouble my system. Bangkok has its fair share of coffee places, I like those with choices. Roast definitely offers choice. The mint lemonade is amazing! Not too bitter but still unbelievably refreshing, the menu has plenty of options (especially for those like me who don’t drink coffee). Food options - I went for the half baked - cookie dough with caramel and chocolate sauces and vanilla ice cream. #thailandtrip Came back here again after many years and was amazed that the whole place still looks as good as the same. Used to be super popular but I guess the hype has really died down. Coffee and food is still as good - huge generous portions. Truffle pasta was pretty good. Service was good and attentive as well, not sure why some people complained about the service in the reviews.. I removed 1 star as they wanted to charge me 50 baht for a jar of water?! I have ordered drinks and food yet still need to charge for water I find quite unacceptable.
