#ThailandFlightEvent This trip to Guam was for the purpose of ‘rest’ rather than sightseeing. So, rather than crowded resorts or shopping, I planned a route focusing on places where I could enjoy Guam’s nature. The two places in the middle of it, Ritidian Beach and Lover’s Cliff, were better than expected. I was a little worried about the rough dirt road that continued from the entrance to Ritidian Beach, but as soon as I arrived, all that inconvenience was forgotten. The color of the sea was different. A deep and clear sea mixed with turquoise and emerald, a blue sky above it, and a quiet white sandy beach with no one there. Nothing could be heard except the sound of the waves, so the fatigue from the city melted away like snow. It was mystical because I could walk into the sea barefoot during low tide. The Lover’s Cliff that I visited later had a strong romantic feel due to the legend, but personally, the cool view of the Pacific Ocean from the cliff was much more impressive. Looking down, the waves crashed at a dizzying height, and the horizon stretched endlessly. The observatory is neatly maintained, and in the evening, the sunset blends in well with the pictures, making them look like movies. Both are non-commercial, so you can comfortably encounter nature. Tumon Beach is nice, but if you really want to see Guam, I definitely recommend these two places. Ritidian Point is a beach on the north of Guam that offers clear waters and clean sand. The view is beautiful and the water temperatures were comfortable. The drive to the beach is also breathtaking, as you can see the mountains with the beach at the bottom. Beautiful white sand beach protected by the reef at Guam’s northernmost tip: well worth the trip. Despite being a National Wildlife Refuge, there are no facilities (except portable toilets), so bring food and drinks, snorkel equipment, and everything else you might need for the day.
