It's just around 10 minutes walk from the HongKong Macau ferry. I like the classical European style of the hotel, the hotel staffs are courteous and attentive. I didn't have a hard time checking in although there are lots of people. My room is spacious and tidy, the amenities are okay. the bed is comfortable specially the pillows, I really loved it. They also have bathrobes upon request. Another thing I like about this hotel is the pool. Over all I had a great experience here at Rio Hotel, the price is cheap but the service is really great.

Since it's still lockdown and cant go out or travel to other country due to pandemic situation, we try to explore different hotel within just the area. And i am amaze with this simple hotel, coz the rooms are big not unfortunately no good window view except top or side of other buildings around the area. But it's good there's an indoor pool on 23'rd floor, plus small gym beside it, plus the changing room is quiet big. Worth the price coz we try to spend the weekend here. Cleanliness meets our expectation and staff are approachable and friendly. One thing more, bus stop is just infront of the hotel so it is conveniet to go to and store are just nearby. The bathroom was spacious and clean It was divided into a bathtub, shower, and toilet! There were plenty of towels, a hair dryer, and basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste. ✨✨I made a reservation for 200,000 won per night (weekday) I made a hotel reservation on Trip.com~!

The room size met expectations. Plenty of water for bathing (perfect) Comfort level is cozy, housekeeping staff is super considerate (perfect), cleanliness (perfect). The only drawback was that the room I booked online was a sea view room, which was not listed correctly. This hotel does not have sea view rooms (confirmed by the on-site supervisor). The hotel does not have sea view rooms. I don't know whether it is Trip or Rio Hotel that has posted the wrong information. Although there are some disappointments, this shortcoming can be made up for in other aspects. Looking forward to doing better next time.

#myhiddengems Rio hotel is a 4-start hotel located at Macau peninsula. I must say the hotel room is HUGE and I was surprised when entering the room. I had a non-smoking room with twin beds. The toom is huge enough to have a party with up to 10 people! We even got a big bathtub in the 3 parts separated shower room. Amenities including lotion are provided sufficiently. More appreciating is the 3 ways cable provided at the bedside table! Eliminate a lot trouble of travellers! Pre-check in is available before check in time. It’s very affordable compared to other Macao hotels. The only downside is there is no free shuttle to the hotel, but you can take the bus to Rio station at MOP 6 per trip. #chinatrip #macau

The location was good, and there were many casino hotels with easy access nearby, so it was good~ St. Paul's Cathedral and Senado Square were not far away. It was in the early 100,000 won range per night, and it was the most basic room, the standard room, but it was really spacious. (6 people could sleep there.) The room condition was really clean, and I was very satisfied with the water pressure. There's an ATM machine on the first floor, so those with travel cards don't have to go looking for an ATM. Canton 8, a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor of Rio Hotel, has a great environment and food quality. The staff are very friendly and the price is reasonable.
