Western Sichuan is still barren in March and April. Due to the high altitude, the grasslands green up late, so there is no lush greenery. However, you can go to Jinchuan to see pear blossoms, or Yuzixi and Gunong Village to see the sunset over the snowy mountains. 😘Here are some tips for traveling in Western Sichuan. I hope they can help you~ Tip 1: Don't be lazy! Moisturize! It's very dry here! The wind in Western Sichuan can dry you out. It can even temporarily cure the rheumatism of people from Guangdong! Tip 2: Don't exercise for a month before you go. Don't exercise at all⚠. Take Rhodiola a few days in advance, and bring motion sickness medicine and patches. Take them as soon as you get in the car. Tip 3: Some places may not have a signal, so keep some cash on you for using the toilet. Many toilets in Western Sichuan are in poor condition, so be prepared. Tip 4: Bring a bottle of cola to Western Sichuan, and drink it a little at a time. It's very effective in relieving altitude sickness! Tip 5: When you're on the plateau, don't push yourself. Don't exercise vigorously, don't get too excited, and don't move suddenly. Slow down your movements. Not having altitude sickness at first doesn't mean you'll never get it. Tip 6: Don't bring squeezable tube toiletries. The low air pressure at high altitudes will cause them to swell. The moment you open the cap is the moment they'll explode!!
