The hotel is very well maintained The staff at the First World Hotel are generally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant check-in experience. However, due to the hotel's large size and popularity, expect longer wait times during peak seasons. The room is spacious and super clean. Easy access but a little bit far from the lobby. Very convenient place to stay. It is super easy to check in and out. I am very satisfied with the service provided here. It also very near to the attraction place to go with family and friends! It takes about 15 minutes from the cable car station to the top floor of the hotel complex. The ticket price is RM10/one way. This time I used trip coins to buy cable car tickets. After successfully purchasing the cable car ticket, you will receive a confirmation email immediately. There is a QR code for the cable car ticket in the email and the app. You can directly show the QR code and scan it at the gate to enter immediately. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth considering how many people were there. The room was compact but clean—perfect for a short stay. The location is unbeatable, right next to the SkyAvenue mall and the casino. It’s not luxurious, but it’s very convenient and good value for money if you’re mainly there for entertainment. Just got back from an amazing trip to Genting Highlands — what an experience! The cool, misty weather was a refreshing break from the city heat. As soon as we arrived, we took the cable car ride up — the views of the mountains and lush rainforest below were absolutely breathtaking. First stop: SkyAvenue Mall! So many shops, restaurants, and cafes — it’s a shopping paradise. Of course, we couldn’t miss trying some famous snacks and desserts while strolling around. We also had a blast at Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park — colorful, lively, and packed with fun rides for all ages. The Snow World was another highlight; stepping into a freezing winter wonderland was so much fun! And of course, a trip to Genting wouldn’t be complete without visiting the casino (even if just to have a look!) and snapping photos at the beautiful Chin Swee Caves Temple — the peaceful atmosphere there is something else. Overall, it was the perfect quick getaway: cool weather, fun activities, good food, and a touch of adventure. Definitely a must-visit if you need a break from the usual city life! #gentingtrip

It is a strange hotel for us. Check-in can be done by yourself. By entering the booking number on the machine and scanning the passports of all guests. Then pay the tax. Then there is a room card and a room number coupon from the machine. We booked with Trips. At first, we were worried whether it would go through or not. In the end, it was very smooth. When we returned, we just inserted the card into the machine to check out. That's it. We can go home.

This year's rainy season is exceptionally long, and upon arriving at Genting, it was shrouded in a white misty rain. The outdoor temperature was around 16 degrees Celsius, giving us a chilly jolt. We started with a half-day tour at the First World Hotel, the highest-altitude hotel in Malaysia. The family room we booked had two rooms, and compared to the hotels near Genting SkyWorld, the value for money was unbeatable! To travel between SkyWorld and the bus station, you need to book the hotel's shuttle bus in advance (one departure per hour). For dinner, we went to the Thai restaurant at the adjacent hotel, Genting Grand, to enjoy a warm Tom Yum soup and added the traditional "yearly fish" dish. The next morning at 7:20 AM, the sun 🌞 indeed came out! Wishing for a new year filled with sunshine and good fortune for the Snake year!

Attractions - There were so many fun places at Genting Highlands. We went to the Skyworld Theme Park, Indoor Theme Park, Casino, SkyAvenue and etc. We had such a great time with our family there. Hotels - Can you believe that First World Hotel is the largest hotel in the world? Overall experience was great as the room was clean and tidy. Shopping - Genting Premium Outlet is one of the must visit places. We can find any designer and name brands including Coach, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and etc. We embarked on a shopping frenzy through the shops at GPO and it was never enough for us. #malaysia #gentinghighland

First time to visit here and it will be the last . First starting when arriving the check in time took more than 3 hours just waiting to check in difficult waiting time especially with kids . The place is nice many shops but the rooms standard so small in size even the rest room with no Air condition also the rooms are connected with other room . I don’t advise you to stay and of it urgent just one night enough
