2025 Pan'an Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in July)

Glass bridges have been mushrooming all over China the past few years. While Zhangjiajie used to be the top location for this experience, you can definitely find one or many in every province for a “walking on air” thrill experience 👌🏼 Lingjiangyuan scenic area was my first glass bridge experience! The only way to reach the top was to climb stairs. You’ll also spot a waterfall during your ascent. Once at the top, the glass bridge experience starts from the ones built along the walls of the mountains with a few extended platforms where you can admire the view 🏞 and take photos 📸 Shortly before the long bridge, there’s a photographer taking candid shots of everyone. You can choose whether you want to buy this picture later when you reach the exit. The long bridge above the valley was defo such a thrill with views under your feet 🫣 and on the mountains 😛 If you’re scared of heights, I’d still recommend it as a once in a lifetime experience 💯 ⚠️ Tips: 1. Wear comfortable and non-slippery shoes 👟 2. Wear a hat 👒 if you don’t want to get sunstroke with the ☀️ right above your head. 3. Bring your own lunch and drink. There are no shops at the top. Food and drinks can only be found at the foot of the mountain when you’re passing through a small village on your way to the exit. It's a small ancient town with not much to see to be honest. We walked around, took some pictures and had tea at a teahouse. It took less than an hour to see what needs to be seen at this place. If you pass by and you have time on your hands you can go...but I won't go out of my way to go see this village.

It's a beautiful Ancient village with old characteristic buildings and friendly people. I stumble onto this gem by accident when the hotel I was suppose to stay at changed my stay to a different hotel...And what a gem it is! Jiujiantian Guesthouse is beautiful, comfortable and clean. I would suggest make it a weekend getaway and come and relax and explore the scenic spots in the area.

If you love walking, waterfalls and peace and quiet this is the place to go too. It's a beautiful scenic area that you can walk around and appreciate nature. Getting There - I walked to the scenic spot from my Guesthouse. But you are able to go by Didi as well if your are only planning a day trip. Attractions - It's 60yuan for the entrance. There ate beautiful spots to take pictures and appreciate nature. Beautiful clear water and waterfalls. Hotels - I stayed at the Jiujiantian Guesthouse whish are amazing Food & Restaurants - There's no shops or vending machines inside so you need to take your own snacks and drinks Shopping - There's a few small shops on your way to the entrance to buy some water before you go on the hiking trail.

Baiyun Temple, located above the Yunhai Ark Resort in Pan'an, is simple, serene, and relaxing. From the foot of the mountain, it looks like a paradise far away from the world! Surrounded by clouds and hidden among the peaks, how could it not be a heavenly place?

Address: Xichan Village, Pan'an Although it's really far from Jinhua city, and it took me two or three hours to drive here, it's really worth it! The distant mountains are like dark eyebrows, with peaks rising one after another, and looming mountains in the clouds; the clear water is like jade, crystal clear, and being in it is like walking into a traditional Chinese painting. The mountains are still and the water is moving, combining strength and softness! Every scenery is refreshing. There is no hustle and bustle of the city here, only the tranquility of mountains and rivers. I don't believe anyone would dislike such a scene. If you don't believe me, come and see for yourself. Check-in spots: 1. "Little Wugong Mountain" Drive to Xichan Village and you can either walk up the Great Wall to the mountain, or drive up. It is recommended to go up on the left and down on the right for the two roads, as the mountain road is narrow and it is not easy for cars to pass each other. 2. Yunding Waterfall This waterfall is easy to find. You can walk to it from either side of the covered bridge opposite the public toilet in Xichan Village, or you can drive there. 3. Wuyintan Waterfall Drive down from Xichan Village for about 20 mins, and walk 100m inward after seeing the road sign. It is recommended to bring an ultra-wide-angle lens, which will definitely make the photos look better. Pay attention to travel safety! It is recommended to go out early! It is not easy to have traffic jams!
