A Tea Plantation Healing Route Tailored for Those Feeling Low on Energy
Spring is here! If you're feeling drained, why not visit this lush tea plantation in Hangzhou and breathe in the fresh, green air?
I highly recommend this route—it's a personalized tea plantation healing journey and a great option for beginners!
As the morning mist gently covers the tea ridges, it's hard not to recall Sanmao's classic line from *The Olive Tree*: "If there is an afterlife, I want to be a tree, standing eternally." Standing quietly amidst the verdant hills, like a tea sapling, is the gentlest redemption for oneself.
🌟**Recommended Hiking Route**:
🗺**Route Details**: Starting from the parking lot, the route passes by Guangming Temple Reservoir, reaches Guangming Pavilion, and finally returns to the parking lot. The entire route is about 3 km and takes approximately 1 hour.
📍**How to Get There**:
Navigate to "Guangming Temple Reservoir." It's only a 40-minute drive from the city center. The entire journey is surrounded by a vast expanse of 100,000 acres of tea plantations, offering a feast of greenery.
❓**FAQ**:
- **Is there any uphill climbing?** 80% of the route consists of gentle tea field trails, with only a short, gradual 200-meter slope near Guangming Temple Reservoir.
- **Are pets allowed?** Absolutely! Many families bring their dogs, but please keep them leashed and avoid entering areas where tea workers are picking tea.
📸**Hidden Gems**:
- **Guangming Temple Reservoir**: Known as "Little Jiuzhaigou of Hangzhou," its scenic beauty is not to be missed.
⚠**Friendly Reminders**:
- The tea picking season is around the Qingming Festival, and the scene is truly spectacular! However, please note that there are more tourists on weekends, so it's recommended to visit during off-peak times.
Come and experience this green and healing tea plantation route, and let the freshness and tranquility of nature revitalize you!

Hangzhou Guangming Temple: Encounter Zen and enjoy time.
There is a place like a paradise hidden in the western suburbs of Hangzhou - Guangming Temple. The lush trees on the mountain and the blue Guangming Temple Reservoir complement each other, forming a layered and colorful landscape painting. Strolling along the tea garden by the reservoir, breathing fresh air, and feeling the comfort of the breeze gently brushing your face. The tea trees on the roadside are lush and exude bursts of fragrance, as if telling the long tea culture of Longwu Tea Village. In the distance, people are picnicking and playing on the lawn by the reservoir. The laughter echoes in the valley, adding a bit of vitality to this quiet landscape. The scenery in the tea garden is beautiful, whether it is the mountains in the distance, the tea trees nearby, or the blue sky and white clouds, all constitute a beautiful pastoral scenery.
Guangming Temple, this hidden treasure in the western suburbs of Hangzhou, is a place worth visiting. Whether it is to appreciate the natural scenery, empty yourself to go to class, or experience tea culture, it can make people gain a lot. If you have the chance to go, you must experience the unique charm of Guangming Temple.

Longwu - Guangming Temple Reservoir.
The autumn tea has sprouted twice, and unlike the tender green of spring tea, autumn tea has more charm. The clear reservoir water reflects the distant mountains and clouds, collecting a pool of autumn colors.
There is convenient parking near Guangming Temple Reservoir, with free parking spaces on both sides of the road. It's a good choice to come here, sit down, have some tea, and empty your mind.

Oh my, Hangzhou's springtime Longjing Fairy Hiking Route is such a feast for the eyes
By mid to late March, don't cram into West Lake with the crowds on weekends anymore. Gather your friends and head to the Guangming Temple Reservoir—it can heal all your worries!
The Longwu Tea Garden surrounds the Guangming Temple Reservoir
Nestled by the mountain and water, the scenery is uniquely beautiful, and it's also convenient for hiking!!
In just 5 minutes, you can have a panoramic view of the mountains.
🧭Direct navigation: Guangming Temple Reservoir
🚇Subway: Meiyuan Xiangshan Station, take a taxi🚖9km
🚗If you drive there on the weekend, it's better to go early in the morning when there are not many cars. By noon, afternoon, or evening, it's basically hard to find a parking spot. If you park a bit further away, there are parking spots along the road, which is also convenient.
⛺️【Tea Mountain Camping】
1⃣️It's not recommended to camp on the mountain due to limited space, high foot traffic, and open flames like card stoves are not allowed❎.
2⃣️The general location is distributed on both sides of the mountain foot next to the reservoir. Eventually, we set up our stall at the camping spot 1 shown in the picture, which has the advantage of being relatively less crowded.
3⃣️There's a market where you can sit around a stove facing the tea mountains to drink tea🍵, and there are also coffee☕️ sellers, which looks pretty good.

In the West Lake district, there are mountains ⛰️, water 💦, and tea fields 🍃 hidden within.
On a sunny day, enjoy the peaceful spring breeze, gather around the stove at the market in Guangming Temple Reservoir, drink some tea or coffee, and take a leisurely walk with family and friends to watch the tea pickers and admire the tea fields.
✅What to play
⭐️Light hiking
There are trails around the tea fields surrounding the reservoir, where you can walk through the tea fields. The trails are used by tea farmers to grow and harvest tea, and are not as well-maintained as those in tourist areas. Wear comfortable shoes and watch your step. (Image 5)
⭐️Go to the market
The small path leading to the reservoir has turned into a small market, offering everything from coffee, milk tea, barbecue, snacks to cultural and creative shops. Sitting by the roadside, basking in the sun, sipping coffee, and watching tea pickers harvest tea. (Pic 2, 4)
✅How to get there
Navigate to "Guangming Temple Reservoir" or "Longwu Hejiacun" bus stop, and park your car for free on the roadside (marked with lines). There will be more cars on holidays and weekends, so look for a parking spot when passing by "Hejiacun Cultural Hall".
✅How to take photos
1️⃣Turn left at the dam of the reservoir and go to the location with resting benches, where you can take photos (pictures 6 and 8).
2️⃣Turn right after crossing the reservoir dam and enter the tea fields. You can climb up to the pavilion and take photos of (pictures 1 and 9).
⚠️Attention:
1. On weekends, there are many people and cars, remember to find a parking space early for your car.
2. Camping is currently prohibited on the lawn.
3. If you want to take photos of a reservoir with suitable lighting, it is recommended to do so when the sun is in the east in the morning.
