It is not very far from the city center, taking only about 30 minutes by bus from Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, or Hong Kong Station. I took the 6X bus from the Admiralty Station B exit bus stop, which is between Central and Hong Kong Stations. Buses 6 and 260 also go to Repulse Bay from the same stop, but 6X is the fastest. It’s only about 20 to 30 minutes on the bus to get to a few bays and beaches in Hong Kong from central. I went to Repulse Bay Beach with a friend, even after knowing that that day will be raining. But we still had hope that when we arrived at the beach it will be all sunshine and blue sky. From central exchange square, we can take bus 6 or 6X and get off at Repulse Bay Beach stop. You need to go down the stairs and walk through a small park to reach the beach. Usually there will be a few people going to the beach as well so you can just follow the crowd. The beach looks clean for my perspective and not too crowded. But as soon as we went to the water it started to rain so we need to hide under our umbrella. Luckily after 15 minutes of rain, the rain cloud went away and we can enjoy laying on the sand and look at the sky. #beach #nature

This is so easy to get to. Take whatever train to Central MTR station. Go down to the bus exchange and take any of the buses that say they go to Stanley. 6x is the one I took. Stay on the bus until you pass Deep Water Bay and then it’s going to be the next beach. what makes this beach great is a few things. 1. Easy to get to. 2. The shade trees to park yourself under on the beach. 3. shark nets and deep water make it great for swimming. 4. Full showers and changing areas for free. 5. There are some great places to eat in the Pulse mall next to the showers, including one that is for dogs and humans to go to together. you can order your dog a meal and yourself. it was called “Hooman” (last pic) but the beach itself doesn’t allow the dogs so that’s kind of a bummer #beach #beachlife #dog
