Charming city center of Yerevan
Location: Yerevan, Armenia
Republic square of Yerevan is charming both at night and daytime. At night it is lit up with beautiful lights. Dancing fountains add another vibe to the square. Summertime it is crowded with lots of people. We went there on Wednesday and no matter it was a weekday but still there were so many people at the square.
Daytime you can enjoy the beautiful ornaments on the buildings which are build in pink and yellow tuff.

"Into Armenia: A Mysterious and Fascinating Country."
Armenia is a landlocked country located in the South Caucasus, at the crossroads of Asia and Europe. Although small in size, this country is rich in history and culture.
Armenia is the first country in the world to adopt Christianity as its state religion, and ancient churches can be found throughout the country. These churches are not only religious sanctuaries but also treasures of Armenian architecture. For example, the Etchmiadzin Cathedral, with its solemn appearance, exquisite interior decoration, and resilience through the ages, showcases the glory and resilience of Armenia's past.
Armenia's natural scenery is equally captivating. Towering mountains stretch across the landscape, with Mount Aragats standing as a guardian of the land. Snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and pristine lakes create a series of natural paintings. Lake Sevan is one of the most dazzling gems of this land, with its clear blue waters reflecting the surrounding scenery. Whether bathed in the golden glow of sunrise or under the tranquil moonlight, it offers a unique charm.
The people of Armenia are warm and welcoming. Despite the hardships the country has endured, they remain steadfast in their traditions. In the streets and alleys of the cities, you can often see locals with smiles on their faces, always willing to share their food or tell ancient legends. Armenian traditional cuisine, such as kebabs, flatbreads, and yogurt, is distinctive and exudes a strong local flavor, offering a taste of the country's soul.
If you are seeking a unique travel experience, a journey to explore a unique culture and breathtaking natural scenery, Armenia is undoubtedly a great choice. It is like a thick and mysterious book, with each page filled with fascinating stories waiting to be discovered by those who dare to explore.

Armenia is suitable for lying flat and emptying
Armenia is also a country that exempts us from visas. The overall atmosphere here is good and it is relatively friendly to the Chinese. But prices are not cheap, so prepare yourself mentally before going.

There is no direct flight. It is recommended to fly to Tbilisi, Georgia, and then transfer to Armenia by bus or train.

A week in Yerevan, Armenia
I can't tell everything about it. I suggest you go there yourself. This is also the best thing we can experience in life. Walk some places, see some things, understand or reflect.
✈️Entry:
Armenia is visa-free. There is a 24-hour bus line 201/100 from Yerevan Airport to the city. The fare is 300AMD. It is specifically recommended to download the Yandex map to check local bus information.
💰Redeem:
The cost of living in Yerevan is not low, and credit cards are widely used. Except for public transportation, you can basically pay by card. You don’t need to change cash much. The exchange rate at the airport is not much different from that in the city.
🥢Catering:
I particularly recommend Art Lunch, which is a semi-buffet style similar to IKEA. The food is plentiful and delicious, the bread is cheap and delicious, and the mashed potatoes are great. I have been there many times without any surprises. 🚩Armenian Market is similar to a farmer’s market. 🚩The ubiquitous street coffee shops offer mediocre drinks, but the clerk will write your name in Russian and Armenian on the cup.
🛌Accommodation:
You can go anywhere around the Republic Square. ArevaHostel&Apartment is very cost-effective. It may be off-season. Most of the time I am alone in the four-person female room.
✏The city of Yerevan is very small and you can visit the main attractions on foot. Just remember a few names, Grand Staircase/Cathedral/Opera House/History Museum/Republic Square/North Street/Weekend Market/Armenian Genocide Museum
📍Khor Virap Monastery
The mist has obscured the mountain peaks, and the grapevines have turned yellow. The holy mountain of Ararat, the world's first Christian country, is now the territory of Turkey. Climb down the 8-meter-deep dungeon where Gregory was imprisoned, and gaze at the last steps of the legendary Noah's Ark. Anchorage, listening to the Sunday worship service, there are many stories here that deserve to be known to more people in the world, regardless of faith or denomination.
*On the way out, there is the Intertown Bus Station right out of the Sasuntsi David subway station. The 467 bus first leaves at 9 o'clock. The journey takes 40 minutes. You can get off the bus and walk for 20 minutes to arrive. On the way, you can take a long-distance photo of the monastery and Mount Ararat in the same frame. *For the return journey, there are many rentals at the door. 1000AMD is sent to PokrVedi at the main intersection. There are many buses passing by to return to Yerevan, such as 454/460/480/483/453/459/467/468
The monastery is a typical Armenian building. I like this kind of rock building very much. There are many stone houses in the city of Yerevan, pink, orange and light yellow. It seems that the texture of the stone can be clearly recognized in the sunlight.
I received a tulip on the night I arrived, and I immediately fell in love with it. I thought it would be even more beautiful in the summer. Although the winter here is not cold, the autumn breeze is crisp and the sun is like spring.

#artshunting We visited Yerevan for 2 nights. Wandering around the Public Square to admire the sculptures in the LOVE garden in front of the Cascade Complex would refresh your days. It was a little bit exhausting to climb up 572 steps to getting up the top however it was worth to do so. You can see the whole town from up there and all the beautiful sculptures in the garden. The city of Yerevan was so wonderful and worth to spend a day or two there.

Republic square Yerevan, Armenia
The well-known and stunning republic square is
located in the heart of Yerevan. The square was
created in 1924 to represent a fusion of national
styles. Its shape is similar to an oval and a
trapeze. If you need to travel to the square, don't
worry; there are buses, minibuses and metro
stations available to carry tourists and locals. The
history museum and the art gallery are two of the
five iconic buildings in Republic Square.
The most loved, interesting perspective of the
lovely fountains may be seen at the museum.
They are accustomed to making music exquisite
through their unmistakable color change in
accordance with the rhythm .They are constantly
accessible from late May to October, so don't
miss out on this incredible view. Get to Republic
Square for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure

The flea market, a few hundred meters away from the Republic Square, is full of people on the weekend, selling a lot of interesting things, including girls favorite earring necklaces, local specialties, and even Soviet antiques during the war. Georgia is even cheaper.
