Traveling to Sydney, Australia in June, I caught the 2024 Sydney Light Festival (vivid sydney), with lights twinkling every night, music, art, vitality, and creativity making Sydney very lively. Light Festival dates: May 24 - June 15, for a continuous 23 days. Places where you can watch the light show: Lighting of the Sails Sydney Opera House Gumscape with Road and Creatures Next to Circular Quay Hika Rakuyo Darling Harbour Sea, Sand and Stars The Rocks Faces of Change Harbour Bridge There are drone shows on June 8, 9, and 15, from 21:10 to 21:20 Remember to arrive 1-2 hours early, You can find some off-the-beaten-path spots that are less crowded and better for taking photos. I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, where I could see some angles, and dining at the top floor of the InterContinental Hotel also offered some nice views.

Hurricanes Grill is a very famous American barbecue restaurant in Sydney. There are currently several branches in Sydney. This time I dined at the Circular Quay branch. It is right opposite the Sydney Harbour Circular Quay. Take the L2/L3 light rail to Circular Quay Station and walk for 3 minutes. Hurricanes Grill has many seats in the store and the table distance is very comfortable. However, it is still difficult to get a seat during holiday dining time. I dined with friends that day and only took a photo of the environment in the store when it was closed. The most famous food is their Hurricane Charcoal Grilled Pork Ribs. They are very tender and juicy, not dry at all! The BBQ sauce is seasoned just right and is really delicious. The store also offers other grilled items but unfortunately they all have the same seasoning. The restaurant has a special bar and the cocktails taste great. The average cost per person is about NT$800 to NT$1,000. I highly recommend that you try this popular and delicious pork ribs if you come to Sydney! The exhibition I saw, "Just not Australian", was really interesting.There also Movies play here everyday which showcases a lot more than the museum itself. Recommended when you are out of options but want to go somewhere in the city.

Just a few minutes walk from Circular Quay station, not too far just right, although my friend and I kind of walking pass the sign without seeing them so we went back and forth just trying to find the place. But still the atmosphere inside the restaurant is really good, pretty chill Playlist, friendly staff and the pancakes are good. There is also a harbor view room with a view of the Opera House, but it is a bit expensive, so I chose the city view instead of the harbor view. The bed is huge and soft, so it is good for a good night's sleep. The room is clean, and all the staff are friendly. 👍I was touched that they did a turn-down service in the evening, made the bed again, and brought back the free water.

#australiatrip Incredible and memorable are two words that come to mind. We had booked a harbour bridge view room in the Horizon club category with early/late check in and out. When our room was not yet ready, the warm and friendly reception staff member (Saskia) upgraded us to a room that felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We can’t thank her enough for making it such a memorable trip. We ended up in an incredible corner suite with sweeping views from the coast, across the harbour and all the way out to the Blue Mountains. We were so in awe of our room and the spectacular view that we barely picked up our books, rather we enjoyed sitting and chatting while watching the world go by outside. Next time we return, it will be very difficult to book a room now that we have experienced the incredible luxury of a suite. I highly recommend the Horizon rooms to get access to the Horizon lounge - especially if you are booking a lower category of room without much of a view. This lounge is a calm oasis throughout the day with complimentary drinks (tea, coffee etc) while enjoying the view. At select times you can also have breakfast (decent buffet selection not much smaller than the main buffet downstairs), afternoon tea (lovely scones, biscuits, light sandwiches etc) and canapés (dips, crackers, antipasto and some warm bites, as well as including beer, wine and spirits). I have stayed here many times before and had a lovely, restful experience; however, this time was such a treat and I cannot wait to return! Thank you again to the incredible staff for our lovely stay.

Quay West Suites Sydney is located in the heart of Sydney at 98 Gloucester St. The location is excellent, close to the famous Circular Quay and Sydney Opera House. The surrounding area is well-connected, with many major attractions within walking distance, making it super convenient! 🚶‍♂️🇦🇺 The hotel's decor is classic but slightly dated, giving it a bit of a vintage feel. However, the biggest selling point of staying here is the beautiful view of Sydney Harbour and the bridge. When we checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions, making us feel very welcome. The hotel is well-equipped, especially the swimming pool with a beautiful view of the harbor, which is really worth a big thumbs up! 🌊🏊‍♀️ The room is spacious, with a large layout, and comes with a kitchen and washing machine, but it does feel a bit old. The carpet and furniture are a bit worn, but the cleanliness is good. The bed is large and comfortable, and the most special thing is that there is a USB port on the bedside table, which is very convenient for charging. The hotel exudes high-end quality, from its decor to its facilities. Although the building itself is a bit old, the interior is very modern and stylish, especially the room design. The front desk service is very professional, warm, and attentive, and the welcome gift is particularly thoughtful. Our room was in a corner, offering an unobstructed view of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The room is both cozy and luxurious, especially the bedding, which is just the right firmness and very comfortable. The high-end toiletries and marble design in the bathroom are also very satisfying. The room is fully equipped with a flat-screen TV and iPod dock, meeting all the needs of modern travelers.
