I went to Shanghai for 2 nights and 3 days 🇨🇳 Day 1 I arrived at Centrair early, so I went to Flight of Dreams ✨ From Terminal 1 to Flight of Dreams There were lots of delicious Nagoya gourmets 😋 I ate my way around! There were also lots of experience spaces I visited the cockpit of an aircraft that was actually flying! I flew to Shanghai from Terminal 2 on Spring Airlines ✈️ I asked for a car to pick me up from the airport, so it was easy to get there! The hotel I stayed at was the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel There was Yuyuan Garden right in front of me, and I could walk there to enjoy it! After that, I went to the Bund to enjoy the neon town, but it was turned off! The lights went out at 10pm 😭 It's a good idea to know this in advance if you're going! Day 2 To Shanghai Disneyland! I entered an hour before opening with early entry. There were no people so it was easy to take photos, and I was able to ride the Zootopia attraction without having to wait in line. I ate a lot while watching the day show and the parade 😋😋 At night, I had time until the ILLUMINATE castle show, so I went to see Mickey 💕 The night show was really moving. On the way back, I realized that I had left my luggage in a locker in the park due to an unexpected emergency 🚨 It was already 10pm at this point... I asked the security guards and they told me to come tomorrow I reluctantly went to the hotel 🏨 Day 3 I left for Disney early in the morning to pick up my luggage! I took the shuttle bus to the park 🚌 I'm glad it was there safely 💕 I decided not to use the lockers in the park anymore lol Since I had time before my flight I went shopping and had lunch at Disney Town No matter where I ate, the Chinese food was too delicious! Day 1: Visit Yu garden in the morning while it is nice and quiet, then grab some local street food from one of the many stalls around the area. then take the Bundt sightseeing tunnel to get to the Oriental Pearl tower. There is so much to do in the pearl tower. We chose to get a ticket for two people for about £65 which included the history museum, entrance to the two spheres which has the sightseeing gallery, outdoor observatory, the future Shanghai Multimedia show and the glass bottom walkway aswell as dinner for two at the Coca Cola buffet restaurant which had a really good selection of local and western foods and yummy desserts. Day 2: Shanghai Disneyland is a must do and you will definitely need a whole day there, my advice is that you either purchase an early entry ticket for roughly £20 or stay at one of the Disneyland official hotels which has the benefit of early access included, to make the most of your day. The fireworks are the most impressive Disney fireworks so I definitely suggest staying to watch them at the end. There are some lovely places to eat and drink at Disneytown if you need a break from the park during the day. Day 3: For a more relaxing day I suggest visiting the Chenshan Botanical Gardens. It is stunning and peaceful, a lovely place to go for a picnic. there are waterfalls, rivers and huge greenhouses filled with tropical flowers and plants. Day 4: Zhujiajiao water town is a really unique place to visit that feels really authentic and cultural. there are tons of street food and shops all around you as you navigate your way through narrow alleys. it is free to visit but there are many different attractions there for a small fee. We chose to go into the Kezhi gardens and it was breathtaking. There were many other gardens and temples that you could also visit. Recommendation for hotels- Some of my favourite hotels in Shanghai include: The Disneyland hotel which is an amazing location if you are spending some time at Disney as it is just a short walk across the bridge to get to Disneytown and the Theme park. It is so beautiful and quiet and the staff are always so eager to help and welcome you. There is a swimming pool, a Lion King themed garden walk/maze and various different restaurants, cafes and bars. You get early entry to the park and if you don't want to walk you can either get the water taxi or the shuttle bus. You can also watch the fireworks from the roof of the hotel which is really. magical. if you want to be near the Bundt and Yu Garden then I suggest the Renaissance Yu Garden Hotel, you can get a stunning view of the city from your room and from the rooftop bar, the staff are wonderful and the hotel is gorgeous. The Yuluxe Sheshan a tribute portfolio hotel is perfect if you want to be close to the Botanical Gardens and the Happy Valley Theme Park. There are lots of other parks and attractions around aswell and it is in a much more peaceful area of Shanghai. There is a man made beach, outdoor (seasonal) and indoor pools, a petting zoo and a playpark for children. [Tips] If you aren't planning to hire a car i suggest setting up a Didi account to get taxis, they are incredibly reasonably priced and it is just so easy to use. I also suggest getting a Chinese Sim and setting up a Wechat account so you can use it to pay for things, very rarely can you use cash.

As the name suggests, it is located very close to 'Yuyuan', so it is a hotel that is convenient for tourist attractions, and it is located close to major tourist destinations in Shanghai such as Xintiandi and the Bund, so if your purpose is sightseeing, this is a hotel you should definitely consider. Shanghai Yu Garden is a historic Jiangnan-style classical garden built in the Ming Dynasty, located in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. It was built in 1559 by Ming Dynasty official Pan Yunduan to please his father, and "Yu" means "pleasure," hence the name "Yu Garden."   Major attractions: • Dajia Mountain: The tallest artificial mountain in the garden, it features a spectacular landscape made of Taihu stone.  • Gyokurei-ro: A strange stone that is considered one of the three most famous stones in Jiangnan, known for its unique shape and beauty.  • Tenshun Hall: A historic building that was used as a command post during the 1853 Small Sword Society Uprising.  • Nine-Curved Bridge: This bridge features a curved shape and was designed based on Chinese legend that evil spirits can only move in a straight line. Yuyuan was designated a cultural relic protection unit by Shanghai City in 1959 and opened to the public in 1961. In 1982, it was recognized as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council.  Access: Yuyuan is located in the center of Shanghai and is a few minutes' walk from Yuyuan Station on subway line 10. There are other tourist attractions in the area, such as the City God Temple and Yuyuan Shopping Center, so you can enjoy it all day long.

I hope this was of some help since there seem to be quite a few Koreans. The location was satisfactory and there were no major inconveniences during my stay for a few days, but The biggest con is the water. I don't know if it's because of the construction going on nearby, but We brought a replacement filter showerhead, but the showerhead attached to it was not replaceable, so we couldn't use it. I've traveled to many places, but this was the first time I've seen something like dirt come out on the bathroom floor after turning on the water. I checked the water quality with my own eyes and went to the mart right away to buy 4 liters of water to brush my teeth and wash my face. I thought it would be the same even if I changed rooms, so just finishing my shower quickly was the best I could do. They give you a view of the garden, but the view of the construction site next door is so intense. The view is a very small part, so I skipped it and saw four or five people, presumably laborers, lying down with blankets spread out in front of the hotel during the day, wondering if there was some kind of wage arrears. It wasn't a hack, but it was annoying. The rest was manageable, so I can't say it's a disadvantage, and this was the biggest disadvantage.

#January travel support event #February travel support event #Shanghai travel I was really worried about other Marriott hotels, but since I thought I would probably just sleep and leave Shanghai, I decided on the Renaissance Shanghai WeGarden Hotel, which is in a good location and relatively cheap. The club room allows you to use breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening lounge happy hour, and is assigned to a high floor. It says late checkout is possible. However, I was disappointed that I could only use breakfast and not the rest. And the room was not warm, but too hot. I joked that I should sleep in the coolest bathroom. The individual heating was blocked, so I couldn't lower or adjust the temperature. However, it was nice that it was warm when I went outside and came back, but it was a little hot when I slept. My friend said that Shanghai Hostel was cold, so she brought pajamas, but they were useless. I slept in short sleeves. The location is 5 minutes by foot from Yewon and 3 minutes from the subway, and the Didi works well, so I was very satisfied. A decent hotel for just sleeping, except that it's a little old.

This time we started from Lujiazui, Pudong, and went to the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel, south of the Bund. Room type: Bund River View Executive King Room Design: light blue Recommended: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quiet: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐ Catering: ⭐️⭐️⭐ (Not many varieties, but convenient) Transportation: ⭐️⭐⭐️⭐ (opposite is the subway station) Cost: 💰 Compared with the previous hotel, Mandarin Oriental, Pudong, the transportation of this hotel is obviously very convenient, with the subway station opposite. It is also minutes away from the Yuyuan shopping district and historic sites. Check-in is at the executive lounge on 18-19/F. The lounge provides three meals a day, all in a buffet style, and you can see part of the Yuyuan business district. What's more special is its duplex design, which reduces the time waiting for the elevator and makes it easier to return to the room. As for the room, the space is acceptable and you can see a little of the Pearl Tower, the Bund and Lujiazui. There is heavy traffic outside, but it's not particularly noisy. The hotel has pre-placed welcome fruits: bananas, apples and pears. All in all, if you like to eat, buy and play in Yuyuan, Renaissance can provide you with a cost-effective choice.
