Received news from a friend that the Renaissance in downtown Bangkok is about to close, this news is regrettable, I was fortunate to visit and stay in the Studio Suite before the epidemic, and now I will share.
Located in Bangkok, Thailand, Marriott Racha Apparson shopping district, is one of the hotels opened by Marriott Travelers in Bangkok this "color" "meat" knife, class CAT 4, the hotel has been in business for ten years. Located in the Racha Apatson shopping district, less than 2 minutes from Chitdom BTS station, is a shopping center point in Bangkok, a few minutes walk to Central World, The Market and Big C.
This time I booked a deluxe room for one night with cash and saw on the app the day before my stay that the room had been upgraded to an open plan suite. Arriving at the store at 6pm, the front desk girl informed the room upgrade and introduced the executive lounge treatment, breakfast can be enjoyed in the 2nd floor western restaurant. The hotel looks good, the lobby has a little nightclub style, the room gave the corner room located on the 15th floor, although it is a Studio Suite, it is actually a relatively large guest room, enough space for one person. Room about 50 square meters, night bed gave a box of dried fruit, and handwritten welcome card, although ten years of hotel but very good maintenance, very comfortable large bed, windows looking out the view, large bathroom double wash basin is good to use, spares are also good.
In the evening, we enjoyed a happy hour at the Executive Lounge located on the 21st floor, with a wide selection of alcohol and hand-made cocktails. Since I arrived late, I left before noon the next day, so I didn't enjoy afternoon tea.
Enjoy breakfast in the morning at the western restaurant on the 2nd floor, many choices and great taste, my favorite is Japanese rolls and fresh juice, unfortunately the aunt below is not good looking, did not go to eat. After eating, I went to the gym on the top floor to consume, taking advantage of 10 o'clock not to, then go to the lounge to see how breakfast, much less choice, push downstairs early.
At this price, you will choose the new Surawongse or the showy W, but if you are afraid of traffic jams Marriott is the best for you. Of course, Courtyard by Marriott, not far from the back street, is also a good choice.
