Regent Taipei truly lives up to its reputation as a classic! They even prepared a small gift for my birthday stay, which was a thoughtful touch. The lobby is as grand as a cruise ship, with a unique vintage charm that showcases its enduring allure. There were many Japanese guests on the day I checked in, likely due to the high-quality service here! Plus, you can see Taipei 101, and I was lucky enough to get an upgraded room on a higher floor. The gym facilities are top-notch, making it a great place to relax and stay active. The only small challenge was the breakfast queue, but as long as you wake up early, you can enjoy the delicious meal! I was very satisfied with this birthday trip.

#台北中山# Afternoon tea at Park Lane, Regent Hotel I haven’t seen Jinghua Afternoon Tea for a long time. I had a new theme lunch for the first two times. I haven’t changed the theme recently and my best friend said that I haven’t had beef short ribs in a long time! Let’s take a look at the afternoon tea table🥰 The dining table is not much different from what it was in May. Freshly grilled beef short ribs, beef ribs, salmon and black pork are all still on the dining table. It’s just that the quality of the beef short ribs is completely different from what I had before😅 Other meals are 80% the same and taste pretty good. The roasted beef for afternoon tea is the same New York gram as for dinner (the meat is firm and elastic) instead of the common rib eye, so you have to ask the chef to cut it thinly. The overall quality of my stay and the service were really amazing. The Regent Hotel is also a very old brand, but it still maintains its usual elegance and refinement, taking the route of low-key luxury. The high-ceilinged garden-style atrium in the hotel lobby alone is impressive enough, and it hides a bunch of high-end restaurants and boutiques. As for accommodation, the rooms at Jinghua are traditional in style. They are clean, comfortable and spacious, and are old-fashioned and romantic. The most amazing thing is that the brass key is used instead of the room card. It is very heavy, and using the key to open the door feels like returning home! The luxurious king-size double room is about 13 square meters in size and is elegantly decorated with floor-to-ceiling windows, a white marble bathroom and a comfortable sofa lounge area. This is my and my bestie's favorite Shangting Lounge, located on the 2F of the Regent Hotel. It has very good business on weekend nights and is often full. It is recommended to make reservations in advance. I ordered a pot of red wine this time, and my friend ordered Belle's milk wine and almond sour, both were quite delicious 😋 The fried squid rings in the meal are very plump and delicious! There is a singer performing live at azie on the 1st floor, with great singing skills and strong strength! The atmosphere is very well controlled. The Park Lane at Regent Taipei serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. This time we came for afternoon tea, which is priced at NT$980+10% on weekdays.
