The Red Cliff Canyon is where you can experience the romance of Love Valley, the tranquility of Xiangyi Pavilion, and the thrilling Niu Jiao An. We look forward to you embarking on this exploration journey in the Red Cliff Canyon in Jinzhong! The Red Cliff Canyon in Jinzhong City is a typical canyon landform. It has the highest peak in Jinzhong, steep red cliffs, and deep valleys. The entire canyon is about 20 kilometers long and 500 meters wide at its widest point. The Red Cliff Canyon has a pleasant climate and dense forests, making it a natural oxygen bar. Entering the Red Cliff Canyon is like entering a mysterious world. Transportation There are free shuttle buses to the scenic area, or you can take a taxi directly from Lingshi East Station to the scenic area. Shuttle bus + hiking + (cable car) cable car You can choose to take a shuttle bus or hike in. The shuttle bus travels along the winding mountain road, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Departing from Linxiu Creek Station and going along the mountain road, you can reach the entrance of the Red Cliff Canyon in about 30 minutes. If you choose to hike, you can go along the mountain road, which takes about 2 hours. In the canyon, you can also choose to take a cable car to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the entire valley. | Experience the Altay of Shanxi in a Cotton Jacket. 🎬 Over the weekend, I went to Lingshi in Jinzhong and unexpectedly discovered the Altay of Shanxi - Hongya Canyon. Walking through the pine forests in the mountains and standing on the peak to see layers of clouds was so healing. 🌿 - 👣 Travel Guide: ✅ Purchase a Lingshi pass for 50 yuan 🎫, valid for 3 days, including 4️⃣ scenic spots: Wang Family Courtyard, Wang Family Manor, Hongya Canyon, and Gypsum Mountain. . ✅ You can hike or take a cable car 🚡. It is recommended to combine the cable car and bus. Take the bus at the entrance of the scenic area, with a stop at Lover's Valley. Walk about 1.5 kilometers to tour Lover's Valley, then continue by bus 🚌 to the cable car entrance. The cable car ride takes about half an hour to reach the top 🔝. . ✅ If you walk to the highest peak of Taiyue Mountain ⛰️, which is also the highest point in Jinzhong at an altitude of 2566.6 meters, it will take about 30-40 minutes. Along the way, you will see alpine meadows and pine forests 🌲, which are incredibly beautiful. - 🕰️ Duration: This scenic area is very large and requires at least 3-4 hours to tour. It is recommended to reserve half a day. 🚫 It is not advisable to combine with return transportation 🚄 as the timing is difficult to control and may cause missed connections. - 🚕 Transportation: It takes about ten minutes by taxi from Wang Family Courtyard. You can use Didi in Lingshi County, but there are almost no private cars, only taxis. It is best to note the driver's phone number in case you can't find a taxi, so you can contact the driver directly. - ❣️ Tips: The wind on the mountain is very strong 💨, and it feels like two different seasons compared to the foot of the mountain. Friends wearing thin clothes will feel very cold 🥶 if they stay on the mountain for a long time. You can rent a cotton jacket at the small supermarket next to the cable car station for 35 yuan. I chose a folk-style bright red jacket, and it looked great in photos 📸, haha 😆. - 💗 This trip was a two-day weekend tour from Beijing. Shanxi Off-the-Beaten-Path Attraction | Hongya Canyon is too beautiful!!
There are mountains, water, and grasslands. It's very worth visiting!! It takes 2-3 hours to get there from Taiyuan. You can buy a 130 yuan combo ticket on the spot. It includes admission and round-trip shuttle service + round-trip cable car. When I went there, there weren't many people and the scenery was still very spectacular!! I highly recommend this place for a day trip in Shanxi. Right after entering, you can take a shuttle bus to Love Valley and walk a forest path. You can play in the water there, it's very cool! About 15-20 minutes later, continue to take the shuttle bus to transfer to the cable car up the mountain. The cable car ride is about half an hour. After getting off the cable car, there's the 'Mirror of the Sky' and some photo spots, and you can also ride horses. A short walk further, you'll reach Yingyue Pool where you can feed the fish and then start hiking to the top, which takes about 15 minutes. You'll encounter flocks of sheep on the way. Reaching the top, you'll find the grasslands, and the scenery is absolutely stunning!! You must go up!
