The beach is full of ripples and the coastal reefs are diverse. There are 57 kilometers of long coastline, beautiful coastal scenery, numerous cultural relics and unique subtropical coastal scenery, making Red Bay a hot spot for leisure travel on the beach every year.
When the car drove into the Red Bay, it felt a sudden bright spot in the sun, the beach was a touch of golden yellow, shining slightly, and the blue sea was connected to the blue sky and water.
There are a few black reefs dotted in it, the waves of the ripples are gently rubbed, and occasionally white waves are splashed. On the vast beaches, visitors can take a dip in the surf, take a leisurely stroll, and enjoy the sun bath.
The long beach stretches out and spreads out, and the beautiful circular arc is pulled out by the sea, revealing a quiet beauty. I smell the breath of the sea, my heart is full of desire, maybe this is the eternal charm of the sea.

A complete guide to tourist attractions in Shanwei. You won't know how to get there without a local guide!
I accidentally found a temple near the city in Shanwei. It is quiet and comfortable. It looks like a small Suzhou garden. Today is the first day of the lunar month, so I prayed for a smooth year.
First stop: Lianhua Mountain Park in Shanwei. It is the only national 4A tourist attraction in Shanwei and a great place for locals to relax and have fun. It is not only a beautiful place, but also has a long history and culture. It is a great tourist destination that combines natural scenery and cultural landscapes.
Second stop: Zhelang Peninsula in Honghai Bay. It is a landmark of Shanwei and a famous coastal tourist destination in Guangdong Province. The sea view here is spectacular. You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset, and experience various sea activities, such as swimming and surfing.
Third stop: Pingqing Lake. It is the largest lake in Shanwei. The water is clear and the environment is beautiful. You can take a boat to enjoy the lake and mountains, or take a walk along the lake to enjoy the tranquility of the city.
Fourth stop: Jieshi Mountain. It is the highest peak in Shanwei, with an altitude of 317.5 meters. You can overlook the beautiful scenery of Shanwei and the sea from the top of the mountain.
Fifth stop: Houmen Ancient Village. It is an ancient village with a long history. Many buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties are well preserved, which have high historical and cultural value. Here, you can feel the strong traditional cultural atmosphere and appreciate the unique charm of Shanwei.

Red Bay Tourist Area, Red Bay Zhelang South Sea Guanyin Scenic Area
🚉Transportation Strategy:
We set out from Huizhou:
1. Take the high-speed train from Boluo Luofushan, about an hour
2. About two and a half hours by self-driving
In the end, we chose self-driving
Navigate to the Castle Coffee, the scenic area has a large parking lot🅿️
💰Average cost:
1. Parking lot🅿️ starts at 10 yuan
2. Scenic area is free
⏳Playtime:
The weather in June, after the rain, the air is very good, and the sea breeze is very cool.
We arrived around 12 noon
🌟Highlights:
1. Castle Coffee has a great atmosphere
2. There are many places for taking photos, such as graffiti walls, etc.
3. There are homestays in the small town near the scenic area, and you can also rent electric scooters🛵
We played here for half a day, admiring the vast and boundless sea, enjoying the cool sea breeze, and simply taking pictures is very photogenic. It's worth a visit, and if it's not the rainy season, watching the sunset would definitely be excellent!

Stop asking, it's really not abroad but Shanwei
In Shanwei, Guangdong, I found a bay that is just as beautiful as Jeju Island—Red Bay.
Compared to other seaside areas in Guangdong, Red Bay has an unspoiled glassy sea, giving a feeling of being out of the country
If you want to see the sea during the holidays, go to this beach with few people and beautiful scenery.
🚗 How to get to Red Bay
Take the high-speed train to Shanwei Station from various places, navigate to 'Red Beach Tourist Area', the scenic area is free, and you can get there by self-driving, taxi, or bus.
🌊 One-day tour route
Follow my tour route, all the way is beautiful sea views:
'📍Tianliao Village Hou'ao Beach → South Sea Guanyin Scenic Area → Sea Castle → Seaside Road → Zhelang Battery'
1️⃣ Hou'ao Beach
A free and deserted glassy sea, fishing boats, windmills, and shells 🐚 that can be picked up everywhere, I stayed here until I didn't want to leave.
2️⃣ South Sea Guanyin Scenic Area
The Guanyin statue facing the sea is solemn and sacred, and the rocks near the sea are also great for taking photos.
3️⃣ Sea Castle
The best photo spot in the whole of Shanwei, the abandoned castle and huge waves are just like the Jeju Island vibe. The castle coffee shop nearby is also very photogenic 📷
4️⃣ Seaside Road
The rainbow 🌈 road by the sea has many leisurely cafes, it's super comfortable to watch the sea while having afternoon tea.
5️⃣ Zhelang Battery
To watch the sunset, you must walk to the seaside near the battery, with a 360-degree unobstructed view of the sunset 🌅, fishing boats, and birds are extremely beautiful.
❇️ Travel tips
▫️ Be sure to check the weather before going to the beach, only when it's clear can you take beautiful photos.
▫️ In addition to Red Bay, Jintian Bay and Magong Beach in Shanwei are also worth visiting, you can plan a 2-day and 1-night trip.

Shanwei Jintan Bay
🏝️ Shanwei·Jintan Bay | Guangdong's own "Jeju Island" ||| Really surprised by the sea in Shanwei❗❗ It's too comfortable💭~~ For the treasures in Guangdong, don't just know about Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, Jiaochangwei for a weekend getaway to the seaside, hurry to this less crowded, beautiful scenery, and cost-effective Jintan Bay + Honghai Bay🌊!!!
-
🎫 Ticket: Free🆓
🚗 Transportation: Self-driving (with parking lot)
📍 Navigation: Shanwei Jintan Bay Tourist Resort🏖
1️⃣ Poly Jintan Bay: 7 kilometers of pristine coastline, fine and soft sand, clear and blue water, very suitable for family and friends seaside vacation / alone watching👀 the sea in a daze, strolling
2️⃣ Sailing Hall: It has the feel of Aranya. Photos outside the hall are free, but drinks inside cost 💰🧃; there are many people taking photos during the day/evening, it is recommended to go in the early morning/sunrise
-
📍Shanwei Honghai Bay🏖 (1 hour away from Jintan Bay, self-driving recommended)
1⃣ Sea Highway: The most beautiful sea highway, with different colors of sea water on both sides, known as the "two-colored sea"
2️⃣ Sea Castle: Has a beauty that doesn't seem domestic. The waves are big and spectacular, and I personally prefer the castle on rainy days, desolate and mysterious
3️⃣ Seaside Road: Free parking on the roadside, there are several coffee shops along the way, with a foreign atmosphere, but pay attention to the business hours
4️⃣ Sunset Surfing: The best position to watch the sunset, it is recommended to wait until sunset🌄
-
🏠 Accommodation
Booked a Jintan Bay duplex villa🏠, which is also quite close to the sea, the most important thing is that it has a swimming pool🏊♀️! The environment is also very photogenic!
The homestay has 8 rooms, 10 beds, stayed with friends, and had a party at the homestay after visiting the attractions! Went to buy ingredients, then had a barbecue🍖, so happy😃
You can also sing karaoke🎤, play mahjong🀄️, watch movies🎬, really had too much fun.

Shanwei Zhelang | The most worthwhile seaside island to visit in Guangdong
Shanwei Zhelang | The most worthwhile seaside island to visit in Guangdong🏝️|||The Zhelang scenic area in Shanwei's Red Bay is atmospheric both on cloudy and sunny days, and apart from the crowds, there's really nothing to fault.
It's advised to avoid visiting the Zhelang scenic area during holidays, otherwise, the small road leading to the scenic area can get so congested that you'll start questioning your life choices. Renting a small electric scooter is the most reliable option, making it convenient to go anywhere in the entire Red Bay.
Besides the must-visit ancient sea castle, the nearby South Sea Guanyin Temple is also worth exploring. On one side, you can pretend to be by the seaside abroad, and on the other, there's the traditional South Sea Guanyin Temple, creating a striking contrast. The waves at the Zhelang scenic area are quite strong, so be careful when taking photos.

As if at the edge of the world | The solitary ancient castle on the sea under the overcast sky
🌊 The so-called 'ancient castle on the sea' in Shanwei is also known by locals as the 'famous unfinished building.' It stands alone by the azure sea, as if it transports one into a lost realm.
🏞️ Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the capes are interconnected, and the reefs are stacked upon one another. The waves crash violently against the rocks, creating a spectacular scene with a bold spirit reminiscent of 'chaotic rocks piercing the sky, with waves striking the shore, rolling up a thousand piles of snow.' On a clear day, the sea and sky blend into one color, and any casual photo taken here is stunningly beautiful💯.
🎈 Travel Guide 🎈
1️⃣ Set your navigation to the Shanwei South Sea Guanyin Tourism Area, to the right of which are the Guanyin Temple and the Marine Culture Square; there is a dirt road to the left of the parking lot, follow it and you'll reach the unfinished building.
2️⃣ There are many large rocks next to the building, and the waves are quite fierce, so be sure to watch your step for safety.
3️⃣ If you're playing by the sea in summer, be sure to take sun protection measures.
4️⃣ If you have enough time, you can enjoy a sea sunset here🌄; or plan a two-day trip to check out 'Windmill Island,' Diving Bay, and the famous highway.
🚗 Transportation Guide 🚗
▪️ It takes 1.5 hours by high-speed train from Guangzhou to Shanwei Station, after which you can rent a car🚗 next to the station for a self-driving tour.
▪️ You can also take a bus🚌 directly to the scenic area from the city center.
📷 Photo Tips: There is a coffee shop on site, and there are places suitable for portrait photography, but it feels like aerial photography with a drone might be more effective!
Other attractions worth visiting in Shanwei include the Fengshan Ancestral Temple and the Red Bay Tourism Area; local delicacies include Shanwei thin pancakes, vegetable cakes, and beef cakes.

Shanwei Red Bay | Who can still distinguish between Cuba and it
Although the recent strong convective weather in Guangdong is a bit scary, the weather during the May Day holiday is relatively stable, with occasional sunshine, and the beach trip for Guangdong people must start immediately~
This trip to Red Bay is really a surprise, this corner of the seaside, makes one feel as if in an illusion, feeling like not being in Guangdong. It's not only similar to the Golden Coast of Tainan City in Taiwan Province but also resembles Havana, Cuba. The coast of Shanwei is really too much of a treasure.
Navigate to 📍sunset surf shop, and you can get a photo with an instant Cuban vibe.

Hiking Mountains and Seas | I'm back, but my heart remains at Honghai Bay
| I'm back, but my heart remains at Honghai Bay. Hiking Mountains and Seas | I'm back,
Have you explored all of Shenzhen?
If you want to go somewhere that you can visit within a day on the weekend, you must take a trip!
One Saturday, I joined an outdoor group with a friend for a day trip.
🚌 Transportation was by coach back and forth.
📸 Check-in spots:
1. Golden Beach check-in spot
2. Houhai Beach (the sea on this stretch is really super beautiful) The deep sea 🌊 huge waves and the feeling of the sky merging with the water, no matter how you 📸 take photos, it's like a travel blockbuster
3. The popular bunker (a lot of people check in here) There are also WC and dining places nearby
(Due to the tight schedule, we didn't eat there, so I won't recommend any restaurants)
✔ Outdoors:
1. Wear comfortable shoes, it's best to bring an extra pair of socks or sandals (the whole journey is about 10 kilometers, with many sandy beach sections where sand can get into your shoes)
2. There is little shade along the seaside, so be mindful of sun protection

Shanwei Red Bay Sea Viewing Diary
After the fierce afternoon sun fades away,
I visit Shanwei Red Bay again to see the sea,
listening to the lively music while flying the drone,
forgetting all worries in just this moment.
Opposite is an old building eroded by the waves, telling tales of time.
Unexpectedly captured a photo of the dramatic collision between the giant waves and the old building.
Self-drive navigation: South Sea Guanyin Tourist Area
The area is free of charge, with direct access to the parking lot (parking fee is 10 yuan)
Turn left after entering the main gate of the scenic area, the road sign reads 'Ancient Castle Coffee'

Come to Shanwei, Guangdong for the holidays and enjoy a different experience!
❤️ Let's talk about the itinerary first: three days and two nights, but actually, I think two days and one night is also OK! Workers and self-driving tourists can totally follow this itinerary! You can adjust it according to the weather and your own habits, that's OK too!
🌴Day1. Friday:
Arrive in Shanwei in the afternoon/evening, go straight to Er Ma Road for dinner (snacks and seafood stalls)
🌴Day2. Saturday:
Have beef brisket hotpot for lunch
In the afternoon (1-7 pm) rent a car to visit Honghai Bay
In the evening, eat at a local recommended seafood restaurant (Ji Wang Restaurant)
🌴Day3 Sunday:
Visit Jintian Bay Beach in the morning
Er Ma Road at noon, and in the afternoon visit Er Ma Road's specialty shops and Rongtai Market
❤️ Next, some recommendations: (No disappointments throughout the trip, except for Shengji brine food on Er Ma Road, which I personally found a bit salty)
❤️ Personal must-eats
1. Sister's oyster omelette from the small pushcart on Er Ma Road (price 20 per serving, we just randomly chose a place to order, and it was surprisingly delicious), and the pork rib rice cake on Er Ma Road (price 12.15, choose your own, there are many shops making this, just find one that steams it fresh)
2. Cup Cup Fresh, we two drank eight cups in three days, be careful it seems to open after 1 pm!!! (average price 10 yuan, personally recommend mango passion fruit and bitter melon cucumber lemon, my friend thinks the milk series is safe! Dragon fruit blackcurrant doesn't taste good, it's just sweet water, if there are many people, you can scan the QR code to order in advance)
3. Beef brisket hotpot is a must-eat, first marinated then boiled, very flavorful (we were planning to go to Deji, but Deji was not open, so we went to a nearby couple's small shop called Yelaili Beef Brisket Hotpot, we spent an average of fifty yuan per person, the owner said it has been open for more than twenty years, beef brisket and offal are 90 per jin or per kilogram, I forgot the exact, you can order separately or together, we two ordered the mixed, there were beef brisket, offal, beef balls, beef cakes, and we added rice noodles as the main dish, really delicious!)
4. Ji Wang Restaurant
The environment is very nice, mostly local family gatherings, friends dining together. We spent only 270 for five dishes, you can decide the portion size yourself, just go to the seafood area to order, a guy will serve you, for example, what flavor you want, how many people, what portion size, everything will be arranged clearly! The price is also very affordable! We saw two people wanting to eat more seafood, so we ordered garlic steamed squid scallops, ginger onion fried crab, some kind of clam winter melon soup (just tell them how many people will drink), salt and pepper pipi shrimp (half a jin), steamed sea fish (two small ones), the ingredients were very fresh, the chef's skills were also good, a super good experience!
❤️ Must-visit places:
1. The cleanest sea is the Glass Sea
2. The better beach is the paid one in Honghai Bay called Zhalang Qiguan (16 or 20 per person, a place where locals go swimming, everyone knows), the sand is super soft, and the sea is very wide and boundless. Jintian Bay's sea is average but the sand is also very soft and suitable for walking in the waves, there are sea experience projects, we two played sea motorbikes (280 for two people for ten minutes, off-season you can play a little longer, you can find a guy called Feifei Ge, who is very good at driving sea motorbikes, safe and secure, a thrilling experience)
❤️ Suitable places for checking in and taking photos:
The sea castle on the coast of Honghai Bay, very photogenic
And the Sunset Road, the sunset glow is very beautiful! That road is all coffee shops and bars, very suitable for young people, great for checking in and taking photos, very beautiful and photogenic.

🚏Route

🌟Attraction Recommendations
1️⃣Jinma Bay Beach
It has a beautiful 7-kilometer beach, known as '22 degrees north latitude, Shangri-La on the sea', and a stunning sunset at sunset🥰
2️⃣Jinma Bay Hall
⛪️The pure white sail hall, located at the end of the coastal landscape axis, is a romantic landmark that is popular all over the network!
3️⃣Red Bay Fort
Facing the sea on three sides, east, west and south, the rocks at the foot of the mountain🪨are in groups, strange and strange. Ascend the fort, you can overlook the waves at the bottom of your eyes~ The wind is very strong in winter, remember to bring a thick coat!
4️⃣Lighthouse Island
In fact, you can overlook Lighthouse Island from the Red Bay Fort Park. The lighthouse is located on the rocks, and the abandoned red brick house is super photogenic~
5️⃣Sea Castle
🔍Net red unfinished building castle! It's near Red Bay, free admission! The photos are super good looking!
6️⃣Windmill Island
It is said that this is the 'Shanwei version of the Maldives' haha! The scenery is indeed beautiful! The sea is bluer!
7️⃣Seaside Road
Go to the seaside road to watch the sunset, drink drinks🥤The atmosphere is super good, all shops are lined up, any shop's view is not a minefield, the taste is average~
8️⃣Erma Road
Located in the central area of the city, there are many gourmet restaurants around, in a word: a street for eating and drinking!
📌Small Tips:
🙊Be sure to check the weather when going to the beach, and you can take beautiful photos when the sky is clear
👗Dress: coat, thin down jacket! Really need it! The wind by the sea is super strong before and after sunset, it's really super cold! Remember to bring a hat, not only to keep warm but also to shape!
🌄There are not many scenic spots in Shanwei, the journey between major scenic spots is relatively long, and transportation is not particularly convenient, it is recommended to drive by yourself and take a ride!
OliverChamberlain58
It's not allowed for sisters around Shenzhen to have never been to Shanwei!
Ermalu (a food spot, it's recommended to drive by yourself, otherwise, in most cases, you'll need to hitch a ride back and forth, the city's transportation is not very convenient. Stayed for a night over the weekend, almost all meals were here, there are few food options near the attractions, the beef hot pot in Ermalu is really cheap and good!)
Honghai Bay (a must-visit place if you have time when going to Shanwei! There are ancient castle buildings on the sea, and a popular coffee shop by the sea, you can take great photos!) Jincheng Bay (accommodation choice, you can have a drink by the sea at night~ will choose to stay in Jincheng Bay next time)
Sail Hall (near Jincheng Bay, you can go and see~)
This time I came to Huizhou, Guangdong for a 15-day stay
I chose 2 days to go to Shanwei to play and offer everyone a nanny-level play guide
.
Huizhou Shuangyue Bay self-driving🚗Shanwei total distance 107 kilometers
I didn't go to Jintian Bay because it's similar to the sea in Huizhou Shuangyue Bay and it's also a commercial place. I went directly to the desired destination, Honghai Bay🌊.
Suggested transportation
1 / Self-driving
2/ Rent a small electric donkey for a 1-day tour The scenic spots are not very far apart Riding a bike on the coastal road is very comfortable.
There are very few taxis here 🚕It's inconvenient to take a taxi.
Must-play route
▪️Castle Coffee Shop 2-3 hours
The castle has a sense of brokenness, it's beautiful whether it's cloudy or sunny
From the Castle Coffee to the Sunset Surf Shop is less than 2 kilometers.
▪️Shanwei Honghai Bay SUNSET Sunset Surf Shop
A whole street of coffee shops, many beautiful coffee shops, there is a snack street along the coast where you can stroll, enjoy the sea breeze, and watch the sunset.
▪️Hou'ao Sea
On the way to Windmill Island, the sea here is very clear, everyone calls it the glass sea
The sea is still beautiful.
▪️Windmill Island
Windmill Island can watch the sunrise and sunset. Picture 6 is taken when I went to watch the sunrise at 5 o'clock, but it was cloudy in the morning and I didn't take a good picture of the sun until 9 o'clock
📍The most beautiful bay of Windmill Island
📍Urban area, Second Horse Road
Since I'm here, I want to go to the city to eat some local snacks and see the local fireworks
📍Ma Gong Beach
If you have time, you can go to this beach, which is closer to Jintian Bay
We didn't go here because of the weather, it's also a very photogenic sea area.
These places are not far apart, and it's very relaxing to play for two days.
🥘About food/
Honghai Bay Sunset Surf Shop / Yuanfeng Dapaidang is okay, you can go
Urban area/ Asen Beef Brisket Shop If you come to Shanwei, you must eat beef pot, then eat it
Stepping on thunder❌Zongji Dessert Shop on Second Horse Road Many people recommend going
It's also a popular shop, it's really sweet, very sweet, very sweet, inferior plastic taste of sugar water.
I ordered four different sugar waters, none of them stepped on thunder
I ate Guangdong sugar water for the first time in Huizhou city
Many people line up to eat at the fly restaurant, it's especially delicious, the black sesame paste is not sweet at all, only the strong sesame fragrance!

The sea here is really healing, and there are even more blessings!!
I was originally going to the Red Sea Bay tourist area
I accidentally passed by the
South Sea Guanyin tourist area here!
Stop and turn around
You can also make a devout wish
Get some 'Buddha's light'
It's really great!
The Guanyin Palace is in the Red Sea Bay, facing the sea
The weather was very good that day, clear skies
The whole Guanyin Palace is very comfortable looking at the sea!
The tourist area where the Guanyin Palace is located is called
Red Sea Bay Zhe Lang tourist area
As soon as you enter the door, you see Maitreya Buddha
In the middle of the square
There are several children around
It implies many children and many blessings!
Walking inside is the Guanyin Hall
The platform opposite the Guanyin Hall faces the sea
The railing is full of
Red ribbons with blessings written on them!
The key is that it looks good when you take random shots
The sea breeze is really super big
I feel that Shanwei is really beautiful
It's really a place where outstanding people and spirits!
Opening hours: 09:00-18:30
Parking lot: very large, easy to park, 10 yuan/vehicle

Shanwei Red Bay is too photogenic
Shanwei Red Bay Zhe Lang Jiao is the Back Sea of Sanya, right?
There's a whole street of coffee shops here, the sea is beautiful, but the waves are big. The coast is all surrounded by stone piers, you can only watch the sea from the shore, there's no beach.
The Sunset Surf Shop is a surf-themed coffee shop.
It's very popular, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.
People come here to watch the sunset.
There are also very attractive restaurants, simple meals, bars, etc.
What's particularly convenient is that there's a free parking lot where you can stay overnight. It's very convenient if you come here on a self-driving trip.

Shanwei Red Bay | One hour from Guangzhou! Take the high-speed train to see the sea~
Starting from Guangzhou, the fastest high-speed train (Xintang Station) can reach Shanwei Station in just 1 hour, and the slowest high-speed train (South Station) is no more than 2 hours. With the opening of Guangzhou Baiyun Station and Shan-Shan high-speed rail, it is more convenient for us to go to the Chaoshan area to play~.
As everyone knows, Guangdong can freely watch the sea even in winter now, after all, without cold air, the temperature is often 25 or 26 degrees, it is appropriate to go to blow the sea breeze. Take the bus from Shanwei Station, only 2 stops and less than 30 minutes, teleport to Red Bay! Of course, it's faster if you take a taxi.
Speaking of Red Bay, the must-visit place is definitely Zhe Lang Peninsula. An abandoned building stands by the sea, eating wind and sun, drinking salty sea water, being eroded and mottled and incomplete, pure Harry Potter·Azkaban's immediate sense, "dark wizards" can pose here at will, definitely produce great pictures in seconds, love it.

Shanwei Red Bay | A place you'll want to visit again
🚄Shenzhen North - Shanwei Station. Take a Didi taxi to Red Bay after getting off the station, about 40 minutes. The scenic area is very clean! Not a single piece of trash can be seen! The restrooms are also incredibly clean!
🏝The sea is blue and very photogenic. The vast view with the sea breeze is extremely comfortable. Not deceptive at all.
🍹The fresh juice on Second Road. We all love the freshly squeezed juice. You can taste the fresh fruit and it's cheap!
👋A place worth visiting! Will come again next time!

At 5 o'clock every morning, the delicate and soft beaches of Shanwei Red Bay are already full of people. The light wind rolled up the waves, plunged into the twisted shore, crossed the bare string of ankles on the shore, and then returned with a smile, and then rushed over, over and over again, not tired.---- - Repeatedly. In the place of the sea and the sky, a round of red sun is waiting for the water to break out...
The golden sails of the golden light are a little bit, and in the look of the unseen, the white seabirds are drifting away, hoping away. Only in the memory of the eyes, a shadow that passed by.
Red Bay The best place to enjoy the sunset in Battery Park, slowly swaying along the coast, you can leave a string of deep or shallow footprints on the sand, like a living map that stretches. The reefs standing on the shore are dotted with the blue sea, and the twilight is at dusk.
The most important : Red Bay sees the sunrise on the east coast, sunset on the west bank, about 5:45, and sunset at around 6:30. Remember to bring sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, sun umbrella....... Red Bay tickets 16 yuan, half tickets 8 yuan, no tickets in the morning sunrise.
