This coastal town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and centuries-old architecture. Stroll along the Stradun, the main thoroughfare, or walk the city walls for breathtaking panoramic views. The town’s medieval and Renaissance buildings, such as the Rector’s Palace and Dubrovnik Cathedral, make it a living museum. Dubrovnik: Europe's Most Beautiful Town with Medieval Architecture and the Adriatic Sea
Dubrovnik, located in Croatia, is a popular town surrounded by thick city walls. Here, you can find various medieval buildings and the beautiful Adriatic Sea. This time, I visited Croatia mainly to explore this popular town and stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. As soon as you enter the town, you can see many stylish buildings and unique streets. The filming location for the TV series Game of Thrones is right here! After visiting, I finally understand why this place is so popular. Although it was quite crowded during my visit, the town is filled with some of the most beautiful architecture in Europe, and I was very excited! One of the attractions is the Rector's Palace, which combines Gothic and Renaissance styles, and I personally love it!
Walking around the town, you can see the Adriatic Sea outside. The water is very clear, and the passing boats make the whole scene look like a beautiful painting! The medieval streets are also very distinctive, with brownish-yellow buildings giving the whole street a historic feel!
Overall, I really like this town of Dubrovnik!
This time, I booked my stay at a youth hostel in Dubrovnik entirely using Trip Coins, which made my entire order free! After completing the order, I even received a cashback!

Divine Dubrovnik musical treat
We attended the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra concert in the Rector's Palace. The acoustics were astounding! We weren't sure at all about the open roof, but somehow there was no leakage and the sound was divine - so full and rich and warm. It's as though every single stone in the building was resonating with the music.
You can check the calendar and buy tickets online at
the orchestra's website or in-person in the tourist centre next to the Rector's Palace (below the Bell Tower). If you have a valid tourist pass, you could also buy tickets at the door 1 hour before the concert and get 10% off!
