❶ Fort Canning Park, the super popular tree hole on Instagram 🕳️, tourists from all over the world come to check in. We came at around 7 am, queued for an hour and a half 🆘, and Fort Canning Park is quite large, so make sure to locate it or you'll be searching for a long time! Navigate 🧭 to YWCA Hotel, the tree hole is just down the stairs opposite the hotel (Pic 1)
❷ Old Hill Street Police Station, no one can refuse the rainbow-colored windows 🪟, it gives the feel of the Grand Budapest Hotel (Pic 2)
❸ Ride a Vespa sidecar 🛵 to tour Joo Chiat Road and Katong area, explore exotic streets and colorful traditional buildings, and listen to the guide tell stories of the Peranakans (Pics 3-5)

Singapore, as one of the safest countries in the world, is a perfect choice whether you're on a family trip, a romantic getaway, or traveling solo! It's a globally renowned garden city~ The streets are lined with lush green trees, and the roads are clean and tidy, almost free of litter. Walking around the city here lifts your spirits~ And Singapore is really great for taking kids out! Just Changi Airport alone hides 4 children's playgrounds, as well as a 24-hour free cinema, giant slides, exploration mazes, and the Sky Net... Not to mention Universal Studios, the Zoo, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island... Both adults and children can have a great time, and now with visa-free travel, it's even more convenient! I just came back from Singapore last month~ Sharing three city center luxury hotels you can't miss!

Raffles Hotel Singapore The Raffles Hotel, which opened in 1887, is the world's first Raffles Hotel. With 137 years of glorious history, it is one of the few remaining 19th-century luxury hotels in the world and is the best hotel in Singapore! The hotel is a model of neo-Renaissance architecture, with a Victorian style~ High ceilings and the ubiquitous verandas and palm trees~ give the hotel a strong tropical atmosphere! I stayed in a Palm Court Suite, and the interior designer was particularly inspired by the furniture of the British management period. The white buildings and rooms, contrasted with the black furniture~ The renovated Raffles Hotel has blended the past with the new era, making the entire stay even more enchanting!

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore Traveling with my parents to Singapore, we chose The Fullerton Hotel for our last stop. The hotel was originally built in 1928 as a post office building and is currently part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts, which is the second-largest hotel group in the world. It is also one of the three must-stay historical buildings on my Singapore list, the other two being Raffles and Capella~ These three hotel brands were all born in Singapore. We booked two loft suites~ with an excellent location by Marina Bay, including private terraces facing the Marina Bay Sands and the Ferris wheel. At night, you can enjoy the most stunning night view of Marina Bay from your own terrace. The design and layout of the rooms are also very nice~ In the bathroom, the shower, bathtub, and toilet are all separate. The amenities are from the French brand BALMAIN, with a light cream scent, and there's even a sleep spray by the bed, which is very effective for aiding sleep~ It's really unexpected to find such a low-key luxury existence in such a prime location at Marina Bay!

After being closed for half a year for renovations, the new Mandarin Oriental reopened last September~ Of course, I couldn't miss the opportunity to experience the unique charm of the Lion City here! The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is also the only luxury hotel in Singapore that has received the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for 12 consecutive years! I've been to Singapore many times but never set foot in the Raffles Hotel before.
During the three days and nights at Raffles, I finally understood why people say that Raffles is a must-visit hotel in Singapore🌳⛲
Walking through Raffles day and night is like traveling through time, back to the Victorian era.
Whether it's the afternoon when sunlight floods the corridors or an early morning downpour, the elegance and reasonableness are ever-present in this century-old building lush with plants.
Enjoying a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar, savoring a British afternoon tea at the Tiffin Room, I seriously appreciated the good mornings and good nights of holiday time, along with the stories hidden in time.

Located within Raffles Hotel Arcade, the place specialises in sourcing and blending of Asia’s finest coffee. They also offer different mode of extractions (Siphon, Pour-over and Espresso) for your preferred Kopi blend.
The price for this meal was quite high. Overall, you should visit this once to try them.

Follow a Chinese-speaking service lady to check-in the room. This time I live in the Palm Court Suite, which is on the second floor of the main building (only two floors in total). Colonial style buildings with permeable open space promenades are very special.
The view on the right side of the promenade is the palm garden and the famous Raffles lawn, and the left side is the rooms, which feel very like a school building! If the curtains of the room are not closed, you can clearly see the room from the window. The situation in the rooms on the first floor is even worse. People who have doubts about privacy protection are not suitable to live here.
In addition, there is a whole row of tables and chairs on the promenade. When the evening is cooler, you can see the tenants outside to enjoy the shade.
After opening the door of the room with the leather key card, the first is the living area: the living room is on the right, the dining table and chairs and cabinets are on the left, the bedroom area is next, and the bathroom area is the innermost.

The hawker culture is one that is well liked by many. With an affordable price, we get to choose from many kinds of dishes from the various cuisines. The marker Street Hawker centre is one of the newer ones that offers affordable prices and tasty treats.
My recommendation would be the Ipoh hor fun. The noodles are smooth while the gravvy is very tasty and thick. You would be asking for more as it is too yummy. Another recommendation would be the curry rice. You get to choose the dishes you want, such as meat and vegetables. Then they will pour thick curry and braised sauce gravvy onto the dish. It is very flavourful and tasty. You should go and try it one day.

They serve up well executed western dishes with Japanese twist and elements; Various beef dons & crab pasta was SlurpY and miso soup was great and refillable too. We finished off the meal with yummy matcha green tea jelly and a pretty flowered-based decorated complimentary slice of dessert for bday gesture . An enjoyable meal and worth going when they're doing 1 free 1 promo to bring the special half over and does not burn a hole in pocket.

Spent a wonderful day just walking around Singapore and found the world famous Raffles Hotel! A must see when in Singapore. It is a beautiful building, which takes you back to more opulent times. You can take afternoon tea in the Grand Lobby or a Singapore sling in the Long Bar (though be prepared for a long queue!).
Alternatively just wonder around the grounds of the Hotel watching the world go by……

Maybe because there aren't many rooms, they remember every guest who stays.
Actively took several family photos for us in the hotel lobby and printed them out to deliver to our room.
At the entrance, the concierge will ask us how our play was and if we need to book the next trip.
The difference between a good hotel and a really good hotel, actually.
Just one that meets your needs.

🇸🇬｜Singapore coffee at Raffles hotel
[Singapore Coffee] located in the Raffles Hotel is really beautiful. The decoration of the whole store is in the 19th century British colonial style, which is quite distinctive, with flower-woven wicker chairs and gorgeous giant glass mirrors. And the rattan fan at the ceilling is very unique.
Their coffee is classic. [Red Monkey] serves in a very distinctive glass pot. It is very rounded and cute, with a slightly sour taste. It also serves with a piece of [Yuzu Mango Cheesecake].
They also serve breakfast and afternoon tea sets, I will definitely would like to have a try next time.

went to raffles by bus, a bit crowded with foreign workers eating around the building corridor, literally like bukit bintang just probably less creepy because we know how safe singapore 🇸🇬 is.
for open space bars you can google Prìvé, located in an classic muzium looking building. there’s few bar & restaurants there. must check them out! come over 5pm-7pm for happy hour. beer and cocktails will be as low as $9.9.

Most Luxurious Hotel in SG - Raffles SG
Flew in to Singapore last week to attend a friend's wedding reception held in Raffles Singapore. It was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! My jaw dropped when I saw the colonial design of the hotel which is very rare to see nowadays and walking through there felt like I was walking in history but with modern touches.
From the moment I arrived, I felt very taken care of, the staff was AMAZING! Everything on the wedding menu was so delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully plating.
I really did enjoy attending a grand wedding reception at this hotel and the next time I visit Singapore I would love to stay here!

I had the best Bar experience, The Bartender was very welcoming and introduced me to different whiskeys.
Since I haven't drunk any alcohols in awhile, he asked about my preferences and crafted a whiskey cocktail - it was soo good.
He introduced whiskeys - malt whiskey, grain whiskey and a mix of both. Its was cool to experience a whiskey that smell like vanilla and mashmellows. He also introduced whiskeys that are younger but taste really good. The trick is to visit on Monday and Tuesday to get a more personalized experience.
Not to mention the beautiful ambience - you can see mbs from the private room and comfortable atmosphere, even the bar bites were good 5 out 5.
Great place to bring friends or date for a new drinking experience. I will definitely visit again.

Highlights:
Really fresh lobsters, go so well with the lemon mayo sauce. Truffle fries very crispy and delicious, salad was good too. Portion was just enough for small eater. Other than the main Lobster Set, we ordered a few side dishes to share, and also the famous Lobster Roll and Burger to try. All the food were generally pretty tasty and decent value.
The restaurant is located at Raffles Hotel, where the atmosphere is great. The moment we arrived, we were made to feel special.
I especially appreciate the excellent service. Despite the restaurant was crowded with customers, the staffs remained friendly and always putting smiles with them. It made my day!

History of Raffles Hotel

Raffles Hotel is one of Singapore’s oldest hotels that was established in 1887 by the Sarkies Brothers who were Armenian hoteliers! Before modern Singapore came into being, Raffles Hotel was a prime riverfront hotel that overlooked the sea and shore. It was named after Sir Stamford Raffles who founded Singapore.
It also survived the Japanese occupation during World War II after changing hands multiple times. It is said that the Raffles Hotel staff actually buried the silver and important artefacts in the Palm Court wing to prevent the Japanese from acquiring them. In 1987, 100 years since its establishment, the Singapore government declared it a national monument. What a history this hotel has had!

Hidden gems of antique art

Throughout the hallways and corridors of Raffles Hotel are tons of antiques and art pieces displayed in their full glory! You will find the famous grandfather clock that has been with the hotel since the beginning, as well as a huge musical box from the pre-war era.
There are also some that are more modern, like the elaborate grand Swarovski crystal chandelier that hangs from the lobby ceiling and a life-size porcelain vase at the reception counter. No matter which corner you’re at here, you’ll surely find something interesting!

Raffles Hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Singapore near all the shopping belts and business centres! If you do drop by for a stay or are dining at one of the restaurants, you’ll be delighted to find beautiful manicured gardens and nature scenes all around the hotel.
The nicest lawn garden is the one right outside the Palm Court Suites, where there is a pebble path and benches to admire the greenery and flowers from. Definitely adds that sense of calm to your experience here!

Garden Wedding at Raffles Hotel 💐💍
It’s not everyday one get to witness a garden wedding let alone one with a spiral seating. To be honest it’s my first time witnessing one and I’m in wowed 😍.
Raffles Hotel is a colonial-style luxury hotel in Singapore. (And also one of the most expensive 😅)
Unlike most hotels in the city, Raffles hotel consists of several lawns and even a shopping arcade with 40 specialty boutiques and many other famous restaurants including the hotel’s own.
While I did not stay there. I enjoy walking around soaking in the atmosphere. The quiet environment coupled with the buildings brings you away from the bustling city.

Historic Staycay @ Raffle Hotel
Booked a suite over 2 nights for my partner's birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Wonderful experience at this iconic gem. Filled with an opulence of the past yet renovated with a touch of modern class, it felt like we went back into history yet with the present day technology and comfort. The butlers were precise and thoughtful in ensuring we had an amazing experience and pretty much everything you’d expect from a 5* hotel.
Service is excellent, everyone greets you everywhere, but the reception, the personal butler and even the historian (tour guide) takes pains to get your names - personalized touches we appreciated.
Welcome notes were handwritten, even my kid was addressed as a "Master".
A very simple visit to the pool comes with free chilled water and warm towels. (The pool doesn't have a shallow area though, so kids better be able to swim).
We mentioned we were going out for dinner, and guest services actually came back to our room to point us to a shortcut out of the hotel. Very attentive!
In room controls via iPad were excellent. Intuitive and worked well.
Room layout allows the kids to sleep while parents watch TV in a partitioned living area.
The toiletries very awesome. We were also provided Raffles brand hand sanitizer and insect repellent! The latter is new to us - other hotels give sanitizer, but repellent is a nice touch.
Every room is also assigned a personal butler. We don't like to trouble others (I'm sure she has many things to do!)... but she reached out nonetheless on her own accord, just to make sure we felt at home. Had our schedule at her fingertips too!

Chinese cuisine at Raffles Hotel Singapore

Another restaurant that we spent our staycation dining credits at was Yi by Jereme Leung! I was blown away by the enchanting set-up of a beautiful white forest passageway that led into the restaurant, very Alice-In-Wonderland-esque.
I actually wanted to try the dim sum here but didn’t realize it was only available during lunch, so we settled for a simple meal of Taiwanese-style beef brisket noodles and Dan Dan noodles with minced Iberico pork, along with pu-erh tea. We were a little taken aback when the Dan Dan noodles arrived in a bowl of soup as we were expecting it to be served dry.
The next day, we ordered the house specialty black gold egg custard buns as I really wanted to try the dim sum. The buns weren’t too bad, but I suspect they’d taste much better eaten fresh and hot at the restaurant itself.

Incredible breakfast spread at Raffles Hotel

Breakfast for two was included in our staycation reservation here at Raffles Hotel and we had it at the Tiffin Room, a restaurant that serves North Indian cuisine during lunch and dinner service.
Breakfast was served in an a la carte fashion with unlimited ordering, and the variety was quite a good spread. Everything was generally quite tasty and I especially liked the muffins and croissants. Unfortunately, the desserts were a little bit of a letdown so skip those if you’re running out of stomach space. Regardless, I’d give two thumbs up for the service we received.

Specialty dining at Raffles Hotel Singapore

With the dining credit included in our staycation package, we enjoyed a lovely dinner here at Osteria BBR! From the decor to the furnishing, the interiors looked exquisite and classy. Service was impeccable too, where staff were on the ball and ready to assist with a smile.
To start, we were offered some bread and amuse-bouche served on little metal spoons. We then dug into Barolo-braised beef cheek pasta, margherita pizza and cherry panna cotta. The beef cheeks were full of melt-in-your-mouth goodness, the pizza was pure comfort food (though we would’ve preferred the dough to be less chewy), and the panna cotta was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness.
