Queshi Xunmeng Platform
Walk about 80 meters north from the entrance platform of the Dream Valley Tea Village, and climb 18 meters to reach the Xunmeng Platform. The platform is designed in an arc shape according to the mountain, with a reinforced concrete structure, divided into two levels. The lower level covers an area of about 200 square meters and is paved with permeable bricks. The upper level covers an area of about 360 square meters and is paved with granite slabs, with 23 stone railings. Because of its excellent viewing position, it has become a must-see place for tourists to climb the mountain and look at the sea. From this platform, you can see the two cross-sea bridges of Queshi spanning the north and south banks, the green mountains, and the strange rocks dotted among them. The bay is full of blue waves, and the high-rise buildings on the opposite bank show the style of a modern city. Xunmeng Platform is a combination of nature and reality, a beautiful three-dimensional picture that seems to be embraced here. The foreground is green mountains and strange rocks; the middle view is the sea of Queshi, with two colors and hundreds of boats; the distant view is high-rise buildings, showing the characteristics of a modern international port city. It reminds people that as early as 1858, the revolutionary mentor Engels praised Shantou as "the only port in China with a little commercial significance," which shows the prosperity of Shantou Port's foreign trade at that time.

🌈Scenic Area Highlights
1️⃣For those who want to take the cable car to see the sea view, make sure to go to the right place. The cable car is only available in the Tashan Scenic Zone! Navigate to Tashan Scenic Zone, not Yanfeng Scenic Zone
2️⃣The cable car is semi-open, with some risk, but the distance is short, taking about 5 minutes to reach the vicinity of Piaoran Pavilion
3️⃣On a clear day, you can overlook the Shantou Bay scenery from Piaoran Pavilion, see the Queshi Bridge, the new and old towns of Shantou, the opposite Jinshan Middle School, and indeed the best view in Chaoshan is here
4️⃣If you arrive at Yanfeng Scenic Zone, the ticket master will inform you that if you want to take the cable car, you can take a taxi to Tashan Scenic Zone; you can also walk from Yanfeng Scenic Zone to Tashan Scenic Zone, which takes about 40 minutes on foot
5️⃣There are not many scenic spots along the way in Yanfeng Scenic Zone, and it is all road, making it tiring to walk. It is not suitable for tourism but good for local residents to exercise
6️⃣There is a viewing platform on the map, but do not be curious to walk there. It is not only more tiring but also a detour, and there is nothing much to see after reaching
7️⃣There are warning signs of 'Wild Boars Appearing, Pay Attention to Safety' along the way, do not easily take wild paths
8️⃣There are gardenia, hibiscus, flame flowers on the mountain... Flame flowers are indeed rare
⚠️Tips
1. The view for taking photos downhill is better than uphill
2. There are many tourists on weekends, and the queue takes about 1 hour. It closes at 5:30 PM, so do not go at the last minute
3. The slide has limited tickets, once sold out, they are gone. If you want to take the slide, go early
4. For driving navigation, search for Interso Cableway Co., Ltd. or Queshi Cableway Ticket Office

Two consecutive days, Shantou Super Live is back!
Date: 2024.02.02-02.03
Location: Shantou Sports Center Stadium
Who doesn't know that Shantou has a music festival again! This time it's a two-day lineup, with Wang Leehom, Zhang Yuan, and Yan Renzhong all being your favorites! Don't hesitate to pack your bags and meet in Shantou! When you come to Shantou, besides the delicious food, these attractions are really worth checking out, and the old town of Nan'ao Island welcomes you~
1. Nan'ao Island
The landscape of Nan'ao Island is naturally beautiful. Due to less development, the environment is well protected, and many mountains, rocks, and vegetation still retain their original appearance. The beach scenery is also very beautiful, making it a niche spot for taking photos. In addition, there are some historical relics on the island that you can visit in your spare time.
2. Shantou Old Town
In the old town area on the north bank of the Rong River in Shantou City, from the Shantou Xidi Wharf to the Waimalu entrance, a 1-kilometer road is lined with a large number of buildings constructed in the early 20th century. This is Shantou Old Town. The 'arcades' on the side of the road for sheltering from the rain, the closely arranged shops, the slightly messy streets, and the simple decorative patterns near the doors and windows all reveal the unique historical charm of Shantou Old Town.
3. Que Shi Scenic Area
The Que Shi Scenic Area is located on the bank of the Rong River. The area is filled with peculiar peaks and rocks, accompanied by the charm of the sea view, forming a scenic spot where Shantou's natural scenery and cultural landscape complement each other. The scenic area is divided into six areas: Xiao Shi Scenic Area, Ta Mountain Scenic Area, Yan Peak Scenic Area, Xianglu Mountain Scenic Area, Bijia Mountain Scenic Area, and Su'an Scenic Area.

Four days and four nights travel guide to Nanao Island, Chaoshan
On the third day of our itinerary, we were still in the Chaoshan area, starting a series of exciting explorations. At noon, we queued for a long time and finally tasted the Chaoshan specialty beef and beef brisket double rice. The meat was tender and juicy, it was incredibly delicious! In the afternoon, we went to the Panshi Scenic Area on the opposite side of the river. We chose to take the cable car up the mountain. Although the time was not long, overlooking the entire scenic area from a high altitude, the scenery was magnificent. Unfortunately, when we wanted to take the slide down the mountain, we were told that the slide tickets were sold out, which was a bit regrettable. Later, we visited the Chaoshan Museum and had a deeper understanding of the history of Chaoshan. In the evening, we took the ferry back to the opposite side of the river and tasted the famous local Xinghua Wuji, which was indeed well-deserved and delicious! 🚠🏞️🎢
On the fourth day, we went straight to Nanao Island. We rented an electric car, which was convenient for us to shuttle freely on the island. In half a day, we rode a big circle and enjoyed the beautiful coastline on the east side of Nanao Island. The sea view of Nanao Island is really too charming! Back in Shantou, we tasted the local fruit juice ice, which was both cooling and thirst-quenching! 🏖️🍹
At noon on the fifth day, we ate traditional rice noodles and then said goodbye to Chaoshan and returned to Xiamen. Overall, the trip to Chaoshan was very worthwhile! Not only were the hotel and dining prices affordable, but we were also able to experience the unique food culture of Chaoshan firsthand. The magnificent sea view of Nanao Island was a surprise for us. This trip made me fall in love with Chaoshan, and I will definitely share this wonderful experience with more people! 🌴🍜🌊
