Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park Self-Drive Tour Guide for Families with Kids
🍂Park Introduction: Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park is located in the world-famous tourist destination of Beidaihe Scenic Area, adjacent to the vast Bohai Bay to the east, connected to the famous Beidaihe attraction Pigeon Nest to the south, backed by the Jingshan Railway to the west, and close to the Asian Games Village to the north. It is an essential stop on the north-south tourist route of Qinhuangdao. Established in 1995, the park is situated within the Beidaihe Seaside National Forest Park, surrounded by green trees and golden sands, and facing the Shallow Bay Bathing Beach across the road, which is just a 2-minute walk away. Covering an area of over 5,000 acres, it is currently one of the largest urban wildlife parks in China, with a high forest coverage rate and a beautiful natural environment. The park is home to more than 120 species and over 4,000 animals from around the world, including national first and second-class protected animals. The wildlife park is divided into six animal exhibition areas: the caged area, the beast area, the African style garden, the central square pet paradise, the herbivore area, and the walking area. Visitors can either drive themselves or take the park's sightseeing bus to tour around. The zoo makes full use of the forest and green space to imitate the natural habitats of various animals, keeping them in separate areas, creating an atmosphere of returning to nature and simplicity, and forming a tourist feature of harmonious integration between humans and nature.
🍂Ticket Price: Adult ticket is 90 RMB per person. Free for seniors over 70 years old and children under 1.2 meters. Half price for people aged 60-70 and minors under 18 years old. Self-driving car ticket is 50 RMB per vehicle. Paper tickets are required to enter the park, so be sure to bring your ID card.🤓
🍂How to Enter: Self-drive🚗 or take the park's mini train🚂. Self-driving is recommended for a more leisurely and comfortable experience. However, during the tourist peak season, there may be more vehicles and less opportunity to stop. The mini train is not very well ventilated and can be stuffy! Reminder: Pets are strictly prohibited in the park!!!
🍂Preparation for Entry:
ID documents, drinking water, mosquito repellent stickers, sunscreen, and... vegetables! They can be used to feed the animals, and the interaction is great! You can bring your own, or buy them at the park entrance, 20 RMB for one pack, 30 RMB for two packs.
🍂Tour Route:
1️⃣ Elephant Yard
Follow the walking path to reach the Elephant Yard, where there are three elephants🐘, said to be a family of three. You can also buy the popular elephant ice cream here, so cute! Along the way, you can see the gibbons٩(ˊωˋ*)و, which look a bit scary🤦♂️
2️⃣ Beast Area
⚠️Note: When self-driving into the beast area, it is strictly forbidden to open windows or get out of the car, and feeding is prohibited!!!
Here you can observe large predators up close, including tigers🐯, lions🦁, and black bears🐻. Probably due to being in captivity for a long time, the beasts have lost some of their wildness and mostly lie around lazily! Although the distance is close, there are electric fences for safety.
3️⃣ Herbivore Area
🚗Driving into this area is probably the most interesting, as you can have a real close encounter with the little animals🐑🫎🐂🦓🦘! Along the way, many animals will come up to ask for food, so be careful when feeding, or you'll witness a frenzy of animals crowding around!
Here's a reminder⚠️: The park's design alternates between the beast and herbivore areas, so after passing the herbivores, you will still go through the beast area. So be sure to close your windows in time!!!
4️⃣ African Style Garden
You can walk to this area, where there are camels🐫, zebras🦓, and giraffes🦒. At the entrance, tree branches are sold for 20 RMB each🌿, which can be used to feed the giraffes🦒. Get your camera ready, it's a great photo opportunity!
5️⃣ Flamingo Area
Finally, you'll pass through a vibrant flamingo garden🦩🦩🦩, which is truly a visual feast! So beautiful! There are also ponies and lambs to feed. If you still have vegetables, feed them to these little cuties😘

The first time you come to Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park, this article is enough
🐻 I believe no child dislikes going to see animals, so when you visit Qinhuangdao on the weekend, you must arrange this stop: Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park!
📍Location: The zoo is located at No. 62 Binhai Avenue, Beidaihe, with beautiful scenery along the way, just follow the coastal road down.
✉️Ticket: It is recommended to buy online in advance, adult tickets are 90 yuan each, children's tickets for 1.2-1.4 meters are 45 yuan each. You need to exchange for a paper ticket when entering the park, so be sure to bring your ID card. The car ticket is 50 yuan per vehicle.
🚗How to enter the park: Self-driving or the park's small train. The small train doesn't seem to be very well ventilated, especially since it passes through the beast area, it can get quite hot in summer. It is more recommended to enter the park by private car. The park can be a bit crowded on weekends, and private cars generally can't stop; staff will prompt you to keep moving.
💡What to prepare?
Vegetables, vegetables, definitely vegetables. Having vegetables will make the experience much better. They are sold at the entrance of the park, 20 yuan for one pack, 30 yuan for two packs.
⭐️Tour route:
1⃣First stop: Elephant Garden (walking tour). There are three elephants here, said to be a family of three. There is no project for feeding elephants. Here you can buy the popular elephant ice cream.
2⃣Second stop: Beast Area (driving tour). There are white tigers, lions, and black bears. Note: In the beast area, it is strictly forbidden to open windows, get out of the car, or feed the animals.
3⃣Third stop: Herbivorous Animals (driving tour). There are deer and cows. Now the deer are fenced in, with only one or two outside. So it's not so easy to feed them anymore.
Here's a reminder: The design of the park's beast and herbivore areas is interspersed, after passing the herbivores you will still go through the beast area. So be sure to close the windows in time. The park's safety work is very well done, with many staff jeeps seen along the way.
4⃣Fourth stop: African Style Garden (walking tour). There are camels, zebras, and giraffes here. Giraffes can be fed, 20 yuan for a branch, and an adult can bring a child.
5⃣Fifth stop: Flamingos (walking tour). The last stop is to see the flamingos, and there are also ponies and lambs to feed. This is the time to use up the rest of the vegetables on your phone.
🚩Reminder: Pets are strictly prohibited from entering the park.

Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park is really good!!! Although it's winter, I saw a lot of tigers and lions. 🐅🐅 They may not be as enthusiastic as getting on the car, but they are very close.
🐒🐒🐒🐒
In addition to the beast area that can only be passed by car, there are also many other exhibition halls and places where you can get off the car and interact with small animals. Look at the gorillas, golden monkeys, ring-tailed monkeys, feed the lambs, deer, and horses. I'm already looking forward to going again in the summer💪

Childlike time - Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park
Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park is a must brush to Beidaihe. Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park is built in the seaside National Forest Park between Qinhuangdao and Beidaihe. There are more than 4,000 animals in the park, and the entire zoo is covered with trees and the environment is beautiful. It is a great place to relax and watch the animals on weekends.
After entering the zoo, you can choose to travel by car or park. The first thing I saw was the Parrot Garden, Monkey Garden, Elephant Garden and so on. These wild animals are basically in close contact, and the lemurs can be fed directly! (20/person for a separate charge). There are also many small animal pony, lamb, little leopard and other animals, very cute!
Touring the beast area can take a small train in the park and have the opportunity to watch Tiger Park, Lion Park, White Tiger Park, Wolf Park, Bear Park and Wild Boar at close range. From the Beast area to the African region, there are African wild animal giraffe zebra alpaca. Get off here, you can feed the camel across the fence, not only that, but also the opportunity to buy branches to feed the giraffe, summer also touched the head of the giraffe, hairy, very obedient.
At the terminal you can get close to the poultry! Red-crowned cranes, black swan, peacocks, etc. are graceful, like the proud princesses striding forward.
Although there may be more traffic jams when driving, but you can drive at any time to communicate with small animals for a long time, which is very suitable for children.
Right, remind you, it is best to have a full meal, then bring a little snack into it.
First, there is a place to eat, there is a box of rice with instant noodles. A box of 30 yuan, with braised pork and beans; 10 pieces of instant noodles. The taste of the box lunch is quite good, it is a little expensive.
Second, in the herbivore area, you can feed. For example, small biscuits, carrots, leaves, cabbage leaves, etc., although there are also sold in the scenic area, but expensive! 1 small bag of biscuits is 10 dollars, 1 leaf, also sells 10 dollars.
Third, the whole zoo is quite big, and when you are full, you can go in and go for a walk.
Visitors can do a free sightseeing train to go to the mountains to see the animals. If the time is sufficient, you can walk up, but it should be very tired and time consuming.
