Taizhou Tourist Attraction. The Qingyun Zen Temple in Taixing, Jiangsu, was founded in the second year of the Xianping era of the Northern Song Dynasty. Yuan Fuma Duwei Cai Mengxiang donated his residence for expansion, making the temple's halls grand and famous. However, as time passed and the world changed, the once magnificent carvings and paintings gradually fell into disrepair, "and the land next to the temple was slowly encroached upon by the local people, leading to the dispersal of the monks." In 1988, the Taixing County People's Government approved the application submitted by the Taixing County Buddhist Association Preparatory Group to restore the Qingyun Zen Temple. In 1989, the Taizhou County Buddhist Association was officially established, with President Zhi Lin, Vice President Guo Lin, and Master Hong Hui dedicating themselves to the temple's restoration project. The project was completed in 1990, and the temple was opened to the public. In 1995, the restoration of the Falun Pagoda was completed. Today, the site of Qingyun Zen Temple was once shaped like a gourd, hence the name Gourd Bay. Some also believe that the area resembles a golden bottle and thus call it Golden Bottle Bay. I experienced the atmosphere of 'deep grass and trees in the Zen rooms.' The temple is sparsely populated, quiet and secluded, making it very suitable for a leisurely afternoon stroll.

Qingyun Temple, located in Qingyanpu, Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, was built in the second year of Xianping reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, which was in 999 AD, and has a history of more than 1,000 years. In 1986, Qingyun Temple was restored and rebuilt on the site of its lower temple, Baolian Temple, and was opened to the public in 1990 with the approval of the provincial government. The Falun Ancient Pagoda was first built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the second year of the Kangxi period (1663 AD). At that time, it was located in Baolian Temple, the lower courtyard of the former Qingyun Temple. Later, Baolian Temple was destroyed, and only the pagoda remained.
