Lesser-known city in Malaysia | How can there be such a photogenic temple.
Caught the tail of the Year of the Dragon, took a photo of the bamboo dragon in Putuo Village, and also took a walk with a child. When will there be such a good linkage in China!
🏯Putuo Village should be considered one of the top ten famous attractions in Johor, after all, you can see its advertisements as soon as you leave the airport
As a Chinese, I didn't want to go to a foreign temple at all, but I was attracted by the bamboo giant dragon that came out this year
📷A Chinese woman's DNA that needs to be filmed in her life
This search is amazing, it turns out that people have specially set up a bamboo forest for check-in and photo taking, and there is also a children's playground inside!
✔️There are many photo devices inside, and children also like it, especially the big swing in the bamboo forest, he swung several times
✔️Inflatable animals also let him run around in circles, tirelessly
How to say this bamboo forest is also in nature, children can run around here, and mom can take pictures with peace of mind, win-win~
✔️In addition to taking pictures and playing, there is also a fat bamboo coffee shop inside, there are many beautiful cakes, milk tea and coffee, and children can eat snacks when they are tired

🚗It takes half an hour to take a taxi from the airport. It is recommended to go before the opening. There are fewer people at that time and you can take a photo of the dragon without anyone

A Peaceful Day at Putuo Village
#traveldiaries
I decided to take a break from the busy city life and visit Putuo Village in Kulai, Johor. I had heard so much about its serene environment and beautiful bamboo forest, so I was excited to see it for myself.
The entrance to the village was marked by a colorful pathway. It was a perfect spot for taking photos, and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures.
Walking further into the village, I came across the main temple. It was an impressive structure, housing the largest indoor statue of Guanyin in Southeast Asia. The atmosphere inside the temple was calm and peaceful. I spent some time there, turning prayer wheels and drinking holy mountain spring water, which is believed to bring good luck.
Throughout the day, I felt a deep sense of tranquility. The village was not just a place of beauty but also a spiritual sanctuary. I saw many people participating in various Buddhist activities and celebrating festivals. It was heartwarming to see how the village preserved and promoted Buddhist culture.
As the day came to an end, I took one last walk through the bamboo forest. The setting sun cast a golden glow on the trees, making the whole place look magical. I left Putuo Village feeling refreshed and at peace, grateful for the experience.

Popular Monastery Temple In Kulai
Johor is popular among Singaporeans for all the different local traditional food. It's always all about eating and also cheap shopping!
But up north in Kulai, there is a monastery very popular among the locals, wave of tour buses can be seen entering the monastery every 10/15mins or so.
This monastery is built in Putuo Village, somewhere in the hilly rolling mountains, so do expect some walking in the monastery as it is also rather huge!
Many come to pay their respects, give offerings and hope to get blessing from the gods.
There are also several small stalls selling ice cream served in bamboo! There is also a cute little cafe called fat bamboo where visitors can take a rest, be away from the heat and enjoy the aircon to have coffee or a freshly prepared cold tea served in bamboo! Highly do recommend the lychee green tea, definitely a thrist quencher.
For drivers, there are ample of parking located in the monastery due to its huge vicinity. Entrance fee into the .onsatary is generally free unless you are interested to enter another part of the monastery, where a small fee will be required.

Buddhist sanctuary beauty!
We took a trip to the beautiful Puto Village and bamboo forest in Johor Malaysia. This is a fun activity to do with all ages. 10 rmb entrance for adults & 5 fir kids. Lots of photo opportunities in the bamboo forest . Amongst the trees there are many sculptures and a kids playground with trampolines & swings. After the forest, walk down the Buddhist walk way with Tibetan style flags listening to the relaxing music. You will arrive at a cafe serving cakes and light snacks, a Buddhist temple with a huge gold statue of the Goddess of forgiveness and a small stream with some turtles. Overall a great day out. This trip can be done in 1 hr but I would suggest 2-3 hrs to realy take in the scenery and enjoy. If you like traditional curry they serve this in bamboo shoots at the entrance on weekends and also ice creams in bamboo poles.
