#AprilGoodDestinations2025 When we arrived at Pulau Ubin by boat, we immediately felt a rhythm that was completely different from that of the city. From Changi Pier, it takes only 10 minutes by boat to reach this pristine island⛴️ As soon as we got off the boat, we rented bicycles and started exploring. The weather at the beach was great that day, and riding in the wind among the woods and wetlands was really healing! 🌳🌊 There are a lot of monkeys along the way, some of them even sit in the middle of the road as the boss, remember not to take out the food, otherwise you will be surrounded🐒 We also saw a mini wild boar appear in the parking lot. It was so cute that everyone immediately gathered around to take pictures (it wasn’t nervous at all XD)! The overall route is easy to walk and varied. If you don’t know where to go in Singapore, Pulau Ubin is highly recommended! I took a four-hour hike here last weekend and it was such a pleasant experience! Stepping into Pulau Ubin is like entering a paradise forgotten by time. Every step you take will allow you to encounter the beauty of nature and your soul will be healed instantly. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like hiking, this is also a paradise for cycling. There are several bike rental shops on the island. You can rent a bike, ride along the winding paths, feel the sea breeze, and feel the freedom. Along the way, you can see many locals and white people enjoying a leisurely time here, which shows its charm. The scenery along the way is so fascinating that you will never want to leave. The dense forests, the blue sky, and the clear sea water, each of which can be frozen into a beautiful picture. When you are tired of playing, find a pavilion by the sea to sit down, order some local snacks, and relax. Datuk Kong Temple is a temple full of history. Pulau Ubin is not truly a lost place. Singaporeans love this island close to the metropolis, as it still retains its natural features. This small ancient temple has been completely rebuilt. The wooden structure and decorations are reminiscent of German culture. It is a charming place of peace and seclusion. Take a taxi to Changi Village Ferry Terminal at 7 AM, and the ride from the city to the ferry terminal costs about 24 SGD. There is also a map of the island available here. There are many large signs indicating the location along the way. The small but good road leads near the temple, followed by a short rocky path, which is great for mountain biking. You only need to overcome a very small gradient.

#SingaporeAttractions The Antushenin campsite was interesting and we chose this location for camping because it was quieter and less crowded than Jelutong. Walked to the nearby bridge to fish but didn't catch many fish. Overall it was a good experience. This is a quiet campsite. The walk takes thirty minutes, or you can take a van from the pier for fifteen dollars for five people. The shower facilities are under renovation, but buckets of water are available for visitors to observe. Very interesting place, great scenery, great travel experience.

If you want a place to relax or let your heart pump, Pulau Ubin is the answer. It is an Island in Singapore that is away from city. You can hear nature sounds like birds or insects, waves from the water. We went there on a Sunday, we expected lots of people but then due to frequent rain this past few days maybe that is why it is not crowded. It's our first time to go there and we were really excited that we rented a bike until the rain starts to drop. Lucky the bicycle renting shop sells rain coat so it really helps us alot. We literally got soaked with the rain because we decided to ride the bicycle and explore even though its raining. We don't know when will the rain stop so if we will just wait, we can't explore. We got tired because cycling there is quite challenging first because the slopes are up and down, and its raining. Our shoes were filled with mud but its okay. Spent my last day of 2024 at Pulau Ubin and it was WHOLESOME FUN! 🤩 there are so many things to do and see at Ubin, view was beautiful and people there are so friendly. We took a ferry to Ubin and it cost us $4 per trip, you can choose to bring your own bike too, just need to top up $2 to bring your bike along. It’s about 10 minutes boat ride from Changi village terminal to Ubin terminal. Once you reached Pulau Ubin, you will see many bicycles rental store on your right, it’s just $10 rental fee and you can enjoy it for one while day. There are many bikes for you to choose from, from leisure bike to mountain bike. There are many cycling routes here, we took the blue trial which is the medium difficulty. You can go for the black cycling trial if you are feeling advantageous. We also had a lovely walk at the costal and mangrove trails. It was so fun and educational, definitely a good place to have a family hang out :) I also saw many animals along the way, we saw a hornbill, a few big lizards and monkey. I spent half a day here and will definitely come back again!

It's only about a 15-minute ferry ride from Changi Point Terminal. It costs $4 per person. After arriving on the island, I rented a bike from a bike shop and went for a leisurely ride (you can rent one for a day for $10-12!) I just kept thinking about what Singapore was like in the old days. lol I really felt revived after spending a relaxing time in the great outdoors...! It's a completely different side to Singapore, which has become completely urbanized. I highly recommend it!
