There are more than 600 kinds of animals living in Prague Zoo‼ ️Elephant Valley is home to a large group of Asian elephants. In the Giant Salamander Hall, you can see the world's largest amphibian - the critically endangered Chinese giant salamander; the African House is adjacent to a vast grassland, inhabited by groups of antelopes and giraffes 🦒; there are also Australian wombats, which are very cute! 💖

Zoo History 🦧
The Prague Zoo dates back to 1881. It is located in a unique rugged landscape on the banks of the Vltava River near the center of the Czech capital. It opened in 1931 and, in its more than 80 years of existence, has grown into one of the most prestigious zoos in the world. It is the second most popular tourist destination in the Czech Republic, after Prague Castle.
