Areia Preta Urban Park
#tripblazers#yearofrabbit #celebratewithtrip #newyearadventure #campingglamping
Areia Preta Urban Park is a hard to come by restful space with masses of greenery within the area. The precinct is a long stretch of "V" shape land divided into three sections by the different pathways. There is a pedestrian flyover at the northeastern tip to reach the waterfront leisure zone along Avenida da Amizade and another tip is directly linked to Avenida 1o de Maio. The Park was built on reclaimed land and opened to public in 2003.
Besides the usual facilities like benches, pavilions, children's playground and fitness training equipments, the Park houses two libraries (Wong leng Kuan Library and Wong leng Kuan Children's Library) and three small outdoor sports ground.

BBQ at Portas Do Cerco
What a way to enjoy your holiday is to have some bbq with friends. Glad that finally due to relaxation of Macau rules regarding Covid we can now enjoy with friends over a bbq at one of the best BBQ place in Macau the Portas do Cerco park or also known as boarder gate.
Finally after 3 years Macau is now open again for tourists, no more restrictions with who can enter the territory :) people who like to enter will just show a rapid antigen test result within 48 hours or NAT. We are all back to normal. That’s why to celebrate the new rules we decided to have some bbq and just a little fun with my workmates.
Indeed it was fun and our tummies got full.
Can’t wait to have another bbq session with my friends.

Border Gate ( Portas ), Macau
#tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog #campingglamping #summervacation Macau, now a special administrative region of China, still has an official border with Zhuhai in mainland China a few meters behind the old barrier gate. The new Posto Fronteiriço das Portas do Cerco (border gate border building) was opened on 15 January 2004. The first formalised border crossing was built in 1573, which was subsequently repaired and rebuilt several times until the present border gate was erected in 1870.[6] It was the site of the Battle of the Barrier between British and Chinese forces on 19 August 1840.

Macau Day Trip Guide, no turning back
Macau, a small city, if you're short on time, choosing a day trip is also a good option. If you don't want to take the same path back, then you can get this route. Enter from Gongbei and exit through Hengqin, and that's it.
In the morning, enter from Gongbei border, make sure to avoid the peak period before 9:30 am, so it won't be crowded, and the customs clearance will be more convenient. After entering, you can take the free 'fortune bus' to Grand Lisboa, where it's great for taking photos.
Then walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, one of Macau's iconic buildings. After taking photos and checking in, you can go to the nearby Love Lane and Macau Museum for a visit.
At noon, taste Macau's special cuisine at a restaurant near Grand Lisboa, authentic Portuguese egg tarts, beef brisket rice, pork chop buns, lemon tea, etc., all worth checking out, and the prices are not too expensive.
In the afternoon, walk to the Macau Tower to enjoy the night view of Macau. You can choose to dine at the restaurant on the Macau Tower or take a walk in the square below. Then take a bus to The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, where there are luxurious facilities like an artificial Venetian canal, the world's largest crystal chandelier, and the largest indoor public art installation.
In the evening, head to Coloane, where one of Macau's oldest markets, the Coloane Market, is located. You can buy various specialty goods, souvenirs, handicrafts, etc., and of course, some local special cuisine.
Finally, exit through Hengqin, casually find a five-star hotel in Taipa, take the free 'fortune bus' to the border gate, and the Macau day trip is over.

Macau 3 Days 2 Nights Free & Easy Travel Guide, you must try these delicacies
✈️How to buy cheap flight tickets?
☀️You can choose Eastern Airlines MU6711, which is almost the cheapest flight of the day, with a one-way ticket costing about 449RMB including tax
🧊Entry & Departure
☀️Leaving from Gongbei Port is quite cost-effective, taking bus no. 11, it's about 5-15min to the 🇲🇴 Macau border
🏨Hotel Recommendation:
Royal Hotel Macau, a four-star hotel, where you can stay for about 400+rmb/night. It comes with a swimming pool and gym, and it's a short walk 🚶 to the Ruins of St. Paul's
Intense Walking Route:
🧊 Day 1: Monte Fort ➡️ Ruins of St. Paul's ➡️ Love Lane ➡️ Museum of Timepieces ➡️ Church of Our Lady of the Rosary ➡️ Grand Lisboa ➡️ Macau Tower ➡️ Shopping at MGM Macau
⚡️Macau is quite small, and many attractions are within a 5-10min walk. Although Macau Tower is a touristy activity, watching the sunset and bungee jumping there is quite nice
🧊Day 2: Rua do Cunha ➡️ Taipa Village ➡️ The Venetian ➡️ The Londoner ➡️ The Parisian ➡️ Fisherman's Wharf
⚡️It's recommended to spend an afternoon at these three attractions. Outdoor photography is great, and without flying to Europe, you can see landmarks of three European countries within 1km, which is also a great shopping spot
🧊Day 3: Coloane ➡️ Black Sand Beach
⚡️For the seaside route, I suggest taking the bus, which costs 6MOP per person, and you need to have change ready, Hong Kong dollars are also accepted. Black Sand Beach is small, but you can take photos, and then go around the island by bus, 🚖 which is slightly expensive
👉Restaurant Recommendations
⚡️Tang's Spicy Sour Noodles
⚡️Chan Kwong Kee's Triple Mix Rice (there's one in Shanghai too, but the Macau one is really delicious)
⚡️Pablo's Mini Tart
⚡️Tomato House's Portuguese Beef Brisket and 🐔 (the average cost per person at this restaurant is 50-60rmb, but my husband and I ended up spending 160rmb per person, the toast is very 😋)
⚡️Hoi King Heen's Fresh Beef Offal and Fried Wontons
⚡️Andrew's Egg Tarts
⚡️Lord Stow's Beef Offal
⚡️Serradura Restaurant's Durian Serradura and Pancakes, as well as 🥥
⚡️There's also a whisky bottle house where we specifically went to buy a lot of 🥃, someone said that after comparing prices, this store is considered cheap in Macau, much cheaper than in Shanghai
Key Point: 🐧 Pay is really much cheaper than 🐜 Pay, and you can also collect various coupons every day
Tasty Travels
Walking in Macau for 9 hours, I'll tell you all the pitfalls and thunder points
【First Chatter】
I went to Macau for a day, and many friends asked me about my feelings: The most impressive feeling that day was the crowding and loneliness.
The crowding is a description of the city, feeling that there are 10 people standing in one square meter; loneliness is because there are multiple languages being spoken around you, but none of them you understand, in Macau I felt like I was alone.
【On the Road: Customs Return】
🛻 Customs & Return
Enter from Zhuhai Gongbei Port (6 am-1 am), follow the instructions all the way, now you don't need to declare your health status, report separately if there are exceptions. The whole process is to swipe the pass, fingerprint, exit the customs and get the voucher, fingerprint, fast customs clearance.
❗️Lesson from the past: If you have Hong Kong and Macau endorsement information, you can handle the new endorsement by yourself at the endorsement machine, it takes 1 minute. If you have never had any Hong Kong and Macau endorsements (a white card), you must follow the time for handling a new card.
❗️Return: Gongbei Port is called Guanzha in Macau, don't search for the wrong destination when you search.
❗️Shopping, generally you will not be stopped when you return unless you have a lot of things.
【On the Road-Macau Crazy Walk for 9 Hours】
Gongbei Exit-(Take the New Lisboa Fortune Car)-New Lisboa-(Walk)-Legislative Council-(Walk)-Ruins of St. Paul-(Walk)-Fort/Macau Museum-(Walk)-Crazy Church Slope-(Walk)-Dongwangyang New Street-(Walk)-Old Lisboa-(Bus 6 Yuan)-Londoner-(Walk)-Venetian-(Bus/Taxi/Fortune Car)-Old Lisboa-(Bus/Taxi/Fortune Car)-Guanzha
10:00-19:00, 9 hours, the output limit
If it weren't for the Venetian who kept walking and felt there was no end, I should be able to visit more places
【Food & Souvenirs】
Macau is expensive, so I didn't eat anything particularly good, but there are some small shops I recommend to everyone (I've eaten)
1⃣️ Jinmei Food
2⃣️ Jinli Food Shop
3⃣️ Paramount
4⃣️ Xingxiangyuan
Souvenirs, the most common and most chosen is "Juji Souvenir", and I chose to buy "Andrew Egg Tart" for egg tarts.
【Extra Attention】
1, Expenses: Most shops can Alipay & WeChat, real-time exchange rate, cash can be exchanged for 1000 Macau dollars, Hong Kong dollars can also be, but the exchange rate is different.
2, SIM card: You can buy it at customs or in advance, turn on the phone after customs, and you can receive the Macau signal.
3, Macau taxi: Taxi stand queue or hail (but I didn't see anyone hailing, almost all were queuing) or Macau call app, taxi is a bit expensive, traffic is not easy to move, often over a hundred, and only cash is accepted.
4, Bus: All 6 yuan, prepare the money in advance, no change
