📍Vietnam Motorcycle Long March Tour/Nha Trang Po Nagar Pagoda
Po Nagar Pagoda (Vietnamese: Tháp Po Nagar/Tower Po Nagar?) is also called Po Nagar.
It is a temple of the ancient Champa Kingdom.
Located in Nha Trang, southern Vietnam.
Dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the mythological deity of Champa.
The status of this deity is equivalent to that of the deities Qiguru Buddha Mother and Narendra Modi in Buddhism and Hinduism.
The history of Vietnam is actually quite exciting.
This part has rarely been covered in textbooks before
This time, we went all the way from north to south, from modern times to ancient cities.
After the original Champa culture was invaded by the Vietnamese, other countries successively colonized it.
The culture is very rich, so more and more tourists like to travel slowly in Vietnam
🔸Ticket to Po Nagar Pagoda 22000vnd
The price is very affordable, so we didn’t hesitate to go into the ruins.
Get lost in history.
Suihe, where we originally planned to stay, also has the remains of the Champa culture.
Friends who have the opportunity to go can go and visit.
We made a temporary decision to continue heading south.
I just took a photo from a distance and said goodbye to Suihe.
Ps. It’s very convenient to change money here, and the exchange rate is generally good.
Take the current USD 1:22753 as an example
It would be great to be able to change it to 1:22700~
There are many places on the roadside where you can exchange currency, including Taiwan dollars.

THAP BA PONAGAR - Nha Trang
Getting There - Ponagar Tower is a Cham Pa temple located on top of a small hill at the mouth of the Cai River, Nha Trang. Ponagar Tower is located just 2km north of the city center. Many people often mistakenly think that the name "Po Nagar" refers to the entire architecture here, but in fact this is the name of the largest tower (about 23m high). Ponagar Tower is considered a prominent architectural feature in the brilliant period of Hinduism.
Attractions - Po Nagar Tower was built to worship Queen Po Ina Nagar, known to the Vietnamese as Thien Y Thanh Mau Ana, the deity created from clouds and sea foam. The Cham people believe that she is the creator of the Earth, producing precious wood, trees and rice.
Up to now, Ba Po Nagar tower in Nha Trang is the largest Champa complex in Vietnam. This work is divided into 3 areas: Gate Tower, Mandapa (vestibular area) and Temple Tower. Due to historical changes, there are currently only 5 architectural works concentrated in the area of Mandapa and Temple Tower.
At Ba Po Nagar tower, Ba Po Nagar tower festival is also held on March 20 to 23 of the lunar calendar every year. This festival has great spiritual significance for the Cham people and is held very solemnly. In particular, at the festival, you will have the opportunity to see the typical ball dances of the Cham people, dances only offered to the mother (Mrs. Thien Y) every holiday.

Po Nagar Cham Towers - Nha Trang, Vietnam
Perhaps the most popular attraction in Nha Trang, after Winpearl Amusement Park and Long Son Pagoda, is the ancient Po Nagar Cham Towers, which are more than a thousand years old.
Cham towers are a small green well-groomed area and functioning temples, where not only Buddhist ceremonies, but also the rites of ancient ancestors take place to this day. Po Nagar Cham Tower is one of the surviving evidence of the powerful Cham state that dominated Vietnam in the period from the 7th to the 17th centuries.
The complex consists of four towers, the largest of which is dedicated to the goddess Ponagar, who taught people crafts and agriculture. The pediment of the tower is decorated with the image of the goddess, and inside there is a statue of her. All the towers are well restored, the facades are decorated with various figures of gods, geese, etc.
Opening Hours: 07:30 – 17:00 daily

Missing our Holidays #2: Nha Trang, Vietnam
*Cover image is Ponagar Tower at 61 Hai Tháng Tư, Vĩnh Phước, Thành phố Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa 650000, Vietnam*
Back in Summer 2018, we travelled to Vietnam as a family. Although we do regret staying in a resort, and not experiencing enough of Vietnam, as my brother and I were younger children back then, we did enjoy staying at Diamond Bay Resort and Spa, on the outskirts of Nha Trang (so we were able to enjoy peace and the beach and pool at the Resort).
If in Nha Trang, you should visit the VinPearl Amusement & Water Park.
I’d love to visit again so I can stay somewhere else and get more out of the culture there…. If you have any suggestions of places to visit in Nha Trang (or Vietnam as a whole) please do let me know :)

Po Nagar Cham Tower, also translated as the Temple of Heavenly Goddess, because it is dedicated to the goddess of the Chinese fishermen (Po Nagar). Built in the 7th and 12th centuries, this tower is a representative of Hinduism. It has some styles of Angkor Wat, but it is much smaller. After more than a thousand years, only the remaining four buildings were more completely preserved. There is also a small exhibition hall next to the tower group, which displays sculptures like the god Ganesh. Now come here to visit, not only Vietnamese, but also many local Chinese, when you enter the door, don't forget to take off your shoes. Looking down from the Cham Tower on the hill, you can see the blue harbor of Nha Trang.

The Po Nagar Cham Tower is a goddess who hides the southern part of the Cham Kingdom and protects the fishermen who eat by the sea. Entering the Po Nagar Cham Tower is the first 22 pillars standing on the platform. Follow the path on the side to the top platform. It is the main building of the Po Nagar Cham Tower. The entire Po Nagar Cham Tower is a play. The hour is enough.
On the second floor platform, enjoy the comfortable sea breeze, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nha Trang Harbour, there is a canteen on the side, buy a coconut drink, you can also ask the store to spoon to dig coconut meat after drinking.
MaMatrip.
The Po Nagar Cham Tower was built between the 7th and 12th centuries. It was dedicated to the fishermen who protect the sea by praying to the goddess of heaven. They say that this is Xiao Ang, but the scale is small and not so refined. Mottled stone bricks, exotic customs, and the things left by the Vietnamese ancestors are also a cultural treasure of the world. Even if you don't understand the culture here, you will be amazed by the beliefs people have here. I felt very fond of looking at the building outside the door. I felt very exotic. When I entered it, I felt that the building was very old. There were still bodhisattvas in the small door. I went in to light up an incense stick and worship Buddha and I had to take off my shoes before I could go in. Some the devouted people can go inside every room. English name: Po Nagar Cham Towers Location: 2 Thang 4, Nha Trang, Vietnam Tickets: 22,000 VND Tips: You need to wear specific clothes, covering your whole body when you go in, if you wear too short or too tight clothes, you can borrow the robes provided by the scenic spot.

After coming to Nha Trang, I found that this is like a modern city. It looks like a modern cross-sea bridge and department store. I finally got rid of the dirty mess in Hanoi and the town style of Hoi An~
Champo Temple, the sun is shining, everything must be better!
Champo is a Hindu architecture. Some of the taste of Angkor Wat, but the scale is very small, there are two rows of pillars in front of the front hall, behind the three stupas, there is no, and the carving is not very fine, and certainly not comparable to Angkor Wat. However, since the sun is shining, it still makes people feel good. Standing at the top of the Cham Tower to see the face of Nha Trang, I still find it very interesting.

Po Nagar Cham Towers
#vietnamtrip
Po Nagar Cham Towers are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Cham civilization. These ancient brick towers, dating back to the 8th century, are still used for worship today. The site features intricately carved structures surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the Cai River. Visitors can learn about Cham history and admire the architectural details. A small museum on-site provides additional context. The peaceful ambiance makes it a great spot for reflection and photography. Po Nagar Cham Towers are a must-visit for history buffs and those interested in Vietnam’s spiritual traditions.

Ponagar Temple is a Cham temple tower built before 781 AD, located in the ancient province of Kauthara, near Nha Trang, Vietnam. It was constructed to worship Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the land, who is associated with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and known in Vietnamese as Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu. This ancient castle blends Asian cultures, exuding an old and mystical charm. It is situated on a hill near the sea, quite large and tall. Visitors can tour the site for an entrance fee of 10,000 VND per person.

Po Nagar Towers are the most ancient relic of Nha Trang.
Of the dozen buildings, only four have survived to this day. Thousands of bricks connected to each other on Mount Cu Lao represent towers slightly different from each other.
Po Nagar is a temple complex of the medieval state of Champa built in the 7th-12th centuries. Each of the towers has its own purpose - the worship of a certain deity, so for local residents it is an important spiritual place. Until now, the Vietnamese conduct Buddhist rituals here.
The largest and most beautiful tower is dedicated to the#nhatrang goddess Po Nagar. Its height is 23 meters, the date of construction is 784. Inside the tower is a statue of the goddess Po Nagar in golden clothes surrounded by incense and flowers.

Exploring the Ponagar Temple in Nha Trang City was a truly enriching experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. The temple, dedicated to the goddess Ponagar, is a stunning example of Cham architecture and has such a rich history that dates back to the 7th century. The drive to the temple was not far, making it an easy and pleasant journey, and I was greeted by lush surroundings that added to the overall charm of the visit.
As I walked through the historical site, I felt a deep sense of connection to the past, marveling at the intricate carvings and impressive structures that have stood the test of time. The beauty of the temples, combined with the tranquil ambiance, created a perfect atmosphere for reflection. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to witness local cultural practices, as many visitors came to pay their respects, offering prayers and lighting incense.
Each corner of the temple complex told a story, and I enjoyed learning about the significance of the statues and the mythology surrounding the goddess. The breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape from the temple grounds further enhanced my experience, allowing me to appreciate the unique blend of nature and history. Overall, visiting the Ponagar Temple was not just a journey through time; it was a joyful exploration of Vietnam's cultural heritage that left me with lasting memories. I look forward to sharing stories of this beautiful site with others and hope to revisit it in the future.

"Explore the soul of Nha Trang, Vietnam: the historical echoes of the Cham Towers and the beautiful symphony of natural scenery".
In the midsummer, I was fortunate to set foot in Vietnam and experience the Cham Towers (also known as Po Nagar Cham Towers or Thien Y A Na Temple) full of historical charm and cultural heritage. Here is the travel guide and travel notes I have carefully organized.
Historical Culture of Cham Towers
The Cham Towers, located 2 kilometers north of Nha Trang, Vietnam, is an ancient building built between the 7th and 12th centuries AD and is an outstanding representative of Hindu architectural style. It is not only a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess "Thien Y A Na", but also a concentrated expression of Cham culture. Thien Y A Na, in the hearts of the Cham people, is like the Mazu Niangniang in China, a goddess who blesses fishermen and protects fishermen who live by the sea.
The architectural style of the Cham Towers is deeply influenced by the Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Although the scale is small and the carving details are not as delicate as the Angkor Wat, its unique artistic charm and strong religious atmosphere are still breathtaking. The structure of the tower base, tower body, and tower top is clear, especially the lifelike sculptures on the top of the tower, inlaid between the red bricks, showing superb carving skills and rich religious and cultural connotations.
The history of the Cham Towers can be traced back to the Cham Dynasty. This dynasty in southern Vietnam was established in 192 AD and was destroyed in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, lasting for 1,600 years. The Cham Towers were built during this period, witnessing the rise and fall of Cham culture, and also carrying the local people's devout belief in Thien Y A Na.
Tourist Attractions Introduction
Entering the Cham Towers, the first thing that comes into view is the huge stone pillars. There are 10 large stone pillars and 12 small stone pillars on the bottom layer. They are arranged in pairs, with incense in the middle, filled with a mysterious religious atmosphere. As the footsteps deepen, the well-arranged beams and columns and the spires that blend into the sky gradually appear in front of you, making people sigh at the wisdom and skills of ancient craftsmen.
On the top of the tower, you can overlook the entire blue harbor of Nha Trang and the long bridge in the distance, with beautiful scenery. In addition, the exquisite carvings in the tower are also a highlight that cannot be missed. Every detail is full of artistic sense, as if traveling back to the mythical world of ancient times.
Play Feelings
Standing under the Cham Towers, I felt the precipitation of the years and the heaviness of history. Every brick and stone, every stone pillar seems to be telling the story of the past, making people involuntarily immersed in this tranquility and solemnity. Entering the tower, I was deeply attracted by the exquisite carvings and architectural styles. Every detail is full of artistic sense, and I can't help but stop and appreciate it.
In addition to the historical and cultural charm of the Cham Towers itself, the surrounding natural scenery is also not to be missed. Overlooking Nha Trang Harbor from the tower, the blue waves are rippling, and the fishing boats are singing in the evening, which is very beautiful. In addition, the lush trees around the tower also add a bit of vitality to this ancient building.
In general, the Cham Towers is not only an ancient building with a profound historical and cultural heritage, but also a holy place for the purification of the soul. Whether it is for history and culture lovers or natural scenery seekers, it is a must-visit tourist destination. If you also plan to travel to Vietnam, you might as well include the Cham Towers in your itinerary. I believe you will gain a lot of good memories.

A Hindu building from the 7th to the 12th century AD, this place is dedicated to the goddess Tianyi, who protects the fishermen who rely on the sea to eat. It is equivalent to Mazu in the minds of Chinese fishermen. Shorts, short skirts, and vests are not allowed to enter the tower. There are free long coats in the scenic area that can be borrowed. Just return them in time when used.

The largest comprehensive market in Nha Trang, selling a variety of clothing, fruits, small commodities, seafood, specialties, etc.

·Nha Trang Beach🏖️
It has a beautiful coastline and the beach is about 6 kilometers long. The sand on the entire beach is fine and soft, and there is no burden at all when walking barefoot. Great for swimming and snorkeling.
