Museum Day‖MGM Cotai Art Museum.
👑The best museum of the year! A must-visit! 😉👍
The entrance of the museum can be seen from the Sky Avenue of MGM Cotai. It looks very grand at first sight. Although it is a new museum, it is full of cultural and artistic atmosphere! The decoration is a good example. The multimedia ceiling in the front hall makes you feel like you are in the starry sea when you step in. The dougong adopts the intangible cultural heritage of Chinese palaces, which is exquisite and iconic. Even the stone floor is inlaid with traditional cultural totems of 12 countries along the Silk Road, realizing the integration of Chinese and Western cultures. I was shocked before I started to see the exhibition!
🌊Blue Ribbon - Explore the Mysterious Sea and Encounter the Treasures of the Silk Road
📌The exhibition is divided into four units:
1⃣Monsoon‖2⃣Context‖3⃣Interweaving‖4⃣Connection
As the first exhibition of the museum, the exhibition is of high quality in terms of exhibition ideas and modes, as well as the specifications and introduction of exhibits!
👍Highly recommended:
✨The first exhibit in the museum
The original heads of the ox🐮, tiger🐯, monkey🐵, and pig🐷 of the Old Summer Palace
The lighting effect of the exhibition stand is just right, perfectly displaying the best exhibition effect of the exhibits. The background LED screen also uses starlight to recreate the beautiful scenery of the Old Summer Palace. The bronze statue is very exquisite, and the glossy hair and the fine texture of the animal skin are presented on the bronze statue with extraordinary delicacy, which makes people marvel at the superb skills of the craftsmen.
✨The exhibits related to the Maritime Silk Road are also very rich, including various Chinese and foreign nautical compasses, as well as precious cultural relics obtained from different salvage sites, among which the Yuan Dynasty blue and white phoenix flower pattern Yuhuchun vase is very representative!
✨The blue and white porcelain with red and gold patterns of the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty is also very beautiful.
✨One thing that surprised me is that the combination of the exhibition stand and the touch screen allows you to enjoy the exhibits and learn about them through the artistic information display on the touch screen, which is very immersive!
✨There are also some contemporary artworks that tell the story of the Maritime Silk Road era, as if they are realizing cross-era communication in a special form!

The Poly MGM Museum is a super artistic place.
The must-visit attraction is, of course, the Poly MGM Museum itself! It houses a wide range of precious artworks, from ancient artifacts to modern art pieces. I remember a few exhibition halls that were particularly impressive:
1. 🏺 Chinese Ancient Artifacts Hall: This hall showcases many exquisite ancient artifacts, such as bronzes, ceramics, and paintings, each exuding a sense of historical depth.
2. 🎨 Modern Art Hall: This hall features works by many contemporary artists, including oil paintings, sculptures, and installations, with diverse styles and great creativity.
3. 📸 Photography Art Hall: If you love photography, this hall is a must-visit. It displays works by many renowned photographers from home and abroad, each photo telling a story that captivates the viewer.
As for food recommendations, there are many upscale restaurants and cafes near the Poly MGM Museum, where you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks. I particularly liked the Italian restaurant, where the pizza and pasta were super delicious! 🍝🍕
Transportation is also convenient, with options to take a taxi or public transport. If you're staying at a nearby hotel or resort, you can also enjoy free shuttle services.
For accommodation, there are many luxury hotels and resorts around the Poly MGM Museum to choose from, with reasonable prices. I chose a five-star hotel at the time, and the environment and service were superb!
As for tips, I think it's best to learn about the exhibitions in advance when visiting the museum, so you can appreciate the artworks more purposefully. Also, remember to keep quiet and respect other visitors and the artworks!
