As soon as I walked into this shopping mall, I was fascinated by the various food and shopping stores. With bars of different tastes, various gourmet shops, and a dazzling array of department stores, it is simply a paradise for shopaholics! Moreover, it is also a gathering place for the community. Local people also come here to gather and chat. The atmosphere is great! And oh, there are also super beautiful beaches here! You can enjoy your meal on the outdoor terrace while admiring the sea view. It’s so cool! If you come to Malta, don’t miss The Point Sliema! When visiting Malta, they basically live on the main island. Compared to the price of hotels in the peak season, you can stay in a five-star hotel here for six to seven hundred RMB in winter. Valletta, Sliema and Saint Julian each have their own bays, not far from each other, all are good choices, each takes what they need. 🔶Valletta is the first choice, the most convenient to travel but the highest price, mostly hotels or homestays in old houses. 🔶It costs 10 euros to take a taxi from Sliema to Valletta or 1.5 euros by boat. The hotel has the highest cost performance, more modern, and there are many restaurant choices along the continuous coastline. 🔶Saint Julian has most of the international chain five-star hotels, such as the Hyatt I stayed in this time, and Intercontinental, Hilton, Marriott, etc. are all here. 🔶If you plan to play well on Gozo Island, it is recommended to stay on the island for one night or stay at Cirkewwa Pier for one night. Recommend a few five-star hotels that stayed well this time 1️⃣ AX the Palace (Sliema) This five-star hotel built on the slope and hidden in the small streets of Sliema has a large room, 35 square meters, and a balcony. There is also a four-star hotel belonging to the same family next to it, and the room decoration is a bit old. There are several good restaurants in the hotel. If you don't want to bother, you can stay in Sliema all the way, which is cheaper than the boutique hotels in Valletta and the big brand hotels in Saint Julian. 2️⃣Hyatt Regency (Saint Julian) This five-star hotel is the newest one built in Saint Julian, with all new facilities, and it is only 5 minutes walk to the sea. This hotel is a perfect combination of old and new. The modern main building is opposite the renovated Santa Rita Chapel. The balcony faces this retro chapel. 3️⃣Palais le Brun (Valletta) This boutique hotel near the sea in Valletta has not many rooms, a bit like a homestay. The European old money style decoration does not appear old, it is well maintained, and there is an elevator. This room also includes breakfast, and the choice of varieties is very rich. Every day, it is very convenient to walk around Valletta and the three sister cities opposite the hotel. 4️⃣Palazzo Bifora (Mdina Old City) When you come to the filming location of King's Landing in "Game of Thrones", you naturally have to feel it. This only five-star boutique hotel in the old city of Mdina has been open for only one year, and the room layout is also in line with the characteristics of the Middle Ages. It really feels like walking into a time tunnel. Love their rooftop restaurant the most.

Gozo & Comino cruise is a must do when you visit Malta, but most importantly to pick a sunny day as it gets really cold and windy at times. you get a full day round trip including all transfers with the sightseeing bus that takes you to the harbor where you board the cruise boat. it’s very comfortable with multiple amenities including toilets and sun beds on the exclusive top deck. really a wonderful trip.#beachlife

Sliema is a resort town on the northeast coast of Malta's main island. It is also a major commercial and residential area and most importantly, easily accessible on a short ferry ride from Valletta. The ferry ride only takes 15 minutes and it is also quite frequent. After arriving at the Sliema ferry terminal, we walked from one side of the water to the other and arrived at the Sliema beach. Even though it was mid-October, the sun was shining brightly and residents were spending quality family time by the sea. I bet the blue water always looks so amazing all year round because let's be honest, I cannot imagine having grey sky here in Malta. #fallingforfall #malta

Chophouse is another fine dining restaurant option in Sliema. They have a great selection of very fine dishes. They also have a digustation menu to which you can add wine pairing. They also great views from the terrace. however, bear in mind they often have events here such as weddings and parties so it may be a slightly more lively atmosphere. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #restaurant

One of the best places to take a stroll is along the Sliema promenade between Saint Julian’s and Sliema; here you will find lovely public gardens, modern art installations great views over the Mediterranean sea, plenty of seating and even public conveniences. They were also many great cafés,bars and restaurants along this stretch you’ll be spoilt for choice for where to rest your feet. #celebrateit #mediterranean #malta

Sliema Point Battery also known as Sliema Fort was an artillery battery built by the British between 1872 and 1876, it is now a restaurant known as Fortizza or Fortress in English. There is also a nightclub venue located within the same building. It’s a really interesting historical building and it’s great that it’s still being used even today. Salma waterfront is bustling with activity. Many tourists stay in Sliema as a high percentage of the hotels in Malta are located in this area. There is also a major bus terminal located here. Along the seafront you can get the Public Transport ferries to Valletta. Fort Tigne is it really fascinating! It was built by the Knights of the Order of St John on the island of Malta between 1793 and 1795 to protect the entrance to the harbour. It’s one of the oldest polygon forts in the world and actually remained in use until 1979. Sadly, it is temporarily closed at the moment so only can be partially viewed. However, the fort stands in real contest to the modern buildings around, there were also beautiful gardens in the area to be enjoyed. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #fort

Tigne Point is one of the premier shopping and residential areas in the whole of Malta. There are luxury apartments and condos here as well as a shopping mall called The Point. There are many restaurants bars and cafés in the area. Manta, in my opinion is, quite possibly one of the top restaurants in Malta right now. They have a great menu. The food is delicious. The service is excellent. They have great cocktails which are especially good to enjoy when they have their two for one happy hour. They have amazing views over Valletta, across the bay. Nowadays Sliema is a bustling urban area with a hectic city vibe but not so long ago it was a small fishing village with many traditional Maltese dwellings. However even today it’s still possible to find some beautiful reminders of a bygone time when, really not that long ago Sliema was quite a different place. The Parish Church of Sacro Cuor was founded in 1877 and has been a Parish church since 1918. It was originally called the Sanctuary of our Lady of the Sacred Heart. In 1930 the church was enlarged due to the increased population of the area. During World War II the church was heavily damaged but was repaired. It has quite lavish interiors, beautiful masterpieces and hanging chandeliers, but sadly it wasn’t open when I visited. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #church

Stella Maris Parish Church in Sliema dates from 1878 and is considered to be the mother church of all other Parish churches in Sliema and Gzira, due to it being the oldest Paris church in the area. At the time of the church’s consecration Sliema was just a small hamlet and as the population of Sliema has continued to grow the church has been enlarged and embellished to reflect this. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #church

Exiles Bay in Sliema is a great place to take a dip in the Mediterranean sea almost any time of year really. It’s mostly a rocky beach but there are also sandy areas. For those who wish to go snorkelling there’s plenty of marine life also to be seen in the water around Exiles Bay most of the year. In the winter the water can fill quite cold but from end of March, early April time until end of October, early November it’s very pleasant. #celebrateit #mediterranean #malta

Independence Garden or Ġnien Indipendenza in Maltese, is a lovely public garden located along the seafront, between Saint Julians and Sliema. There’s a children’s play area, public conveniences, cafés and plenty of seating. It’s a really great place to take a rest to enjoy the views over the Mediterranean Sea and even to pet some of the many friendly cats that frequent the garden. #celebrateit #mediterranean #mediterranean #garden

The parish Church of our Lady of Mount Carmel, simply known as the Carmelite church or Balluta Parish Church is a prominent landmark in Saint Julian’s, Malta. The current church is a large neo Gothic structure and dates from the mid 20th century, although a chapel was originally built on the same site in 1859.
