Guangdong's thousand-year-old Song Dynasty ancient city wall offers a zero-cost, quaint photography spot right here, where it feels as if time has reversed, immersing oneself in the long river of history.
The wall still retains bricks from the Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing, and the Republic of China periods, and can be called a brick museum. It is also the only one in Guangdong,
and one of the rare examples in the country with a relatively complete main body and surrounding city wall from the Song Dynasty.
Walking along, one arrives at Piyun Tower.
What we see today is not the original structure but a modern imitation ancient building constructed in 1989. This imitation ancient building is majestic and magnificent,
making me feel as if I am in the midst of ancient glory. Piyun Tower also offers free access to climb and look into the distance.

Zhaoqing 2 Days 1 Night Leisure Travel Guide
Wow! Zhaoqing is really a fun place close to Guangzhou! Let me use vivid language, along with some cute emojis, to reorganize a leisure travel guide for two days and one night in Zhaoqing for you!
🌟Day 1🌟
On the first day, we boarded the train to Zhaoqing, and a 40-minute high-speed train ride took us through the busy city to this beautiful destination. Upon arriving at Zhaoqing East Station, we immediately transferred to the city rail to Zhaoqing Station, which was convenient and fast, and the ticket price was very affordable, only 28 yuan! 🚄
After arriving in Zhaoqing, we couldn't wait to take a taxi to the first attraction—Qixingyan. There are spectacular bald cypresses here, and a water spray every 20 minutes, truly a place that refreshes the soul! Taking photos here is definitely a great choice!
Then, we walked along Songcheng Arcade Street and the ancient city wall Piyun Tower, feeling the unique historical atmosphere of Zhaoqing. The iconic text wall of Zhaoqing is right next to HEYTEA, be sure to take a photo here! In the evening, after tasting the local cuisine, we returned to the hotel full and rested.
🌟Day 2🌟
The itinerary for the second day was to go to Dinghu Mountain, a highlight of Zhaoqing! We first came to Baoding Garden, where you can throw a wishing ball! Throw a wishing ball, make a wish, and maybe it will come true! 💫
Next, we came to Butterfly Valley, where there really are butterflies, and they even land on your hand! This is definitely a great place to take photos, no filter needed, a natural oxygen bar! However, you need to take a boat back and forth, and the price of 35 yuan is still worth it.
Then, we visited Qingyun Temple, where you can light incense and pray, feeling the peaceful atmosphere. Finally, we came to Feishuitan, where the waterfall has a large volume of water and is very spectacular! The downstream water is also great for playing in the water and washing feet, very refreshing! However, it should be noted that the Feishuitan sightseeing car cannot reach there, and you can only walk.
In the end, we walked to the Summer Villa to take the sightseeing car back, ending this wonderful trip to Zhaoqing!

This arcade street was built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.
It is a combination of European architecture and the Lingnan 'bamboo tube house' style.

Although it is not yet fully perfected,
