An Exquisite Ubud Journey: Staying at Pita Maha Resort & Spa
🏨Pita Maha Resort & Spa
📍Jl. Raya Sanggingan, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
My first time at Pita Maha Resort & Spa in Ubud, Bali, was incredibly exciting. Nestled in the Ubud valleys, the resort is surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking scenery. Walking along the resort's paths felt like stepping into a painting, with cascading rice paddies and tropical forests complementing each other. The location is quite convenient, just a short drive from the Ubud Market center, making shopping and dining a breeze. Of course, you can also choose to explore the surrounding area on foot and discover even more hidden gems.
The resort boasts a prime location on a ridge, overlooking the forests and rivers of Ubud, offering truly picturesque views. The resort's unique decor is infused with traditional Balinese cultural elements. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in, making me feel right at home. The resort offers a full range of amenities, including an infinity pool, private balconies, a library, and a spa center, all designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
My accommodation was a private villa, featuring a charming thatched roof and distinctive Balinese-style interiors. The villa was well-equipped with a minibar, refrigerator, satellite TV, and a spacious bathroom. To my delight, each villa has its own private pool – perfect for basking in the sun. The villa also provided a variety of drinks and snacks, and the cozy ambiance made it ideal for families or couples.
Beyond the in-room amenities, the resort's service was top-notch. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast service, which is available until 5pm – a godsend for those who enjoy sleeping in. The wide selection of breakfast options ensured I had plenty of energy for the entire day. The hotel also offers convenient motorbike rentals, adding to the overall comfort and ease of my stay.
There are also many noteworthy spots around the resort. Nearby restaurants like Kaukau Restaurant and Arcadia Restaurant Ubud serve delicious Indonesian and international cuisine. For adventurous travelers, renting a bicycle to explore the area or taking a stroll along the Tjampuhan Ridge Walk are great options, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature and experience Ubud's unique charm. If you have time, be sure to try the resort's various spa treatments, especially the Chocolate Ritual Couple, a head-to-toe pampering experience for ultimate relaxation.
Overall, my stay at Pita Maha Resort & Spa was exceptional. The tranquil environment, beautiful scenery, and attentive service created a truly memorable and heartwarming experience. If you're planning a vacation in Ubud, this resort is a perfect choice and won't disappoint! ✨
