When I visited, the exterior of the Bari Museum was undergoing renovation, so the main entrance was closed. However, I was able to take the elevator to the 4th floor by following the signs. Before heading up, I highly recommend taking a moment to explore the central lobby hall. The beautiful sculptures and the arch-shaped structures blending with the columns give the impression of stepping into a small palace. This is a place worth visiting not just for the exhibitions but for the space itself. If you're in Bari, make sure to set aside some time to visit.

The Bari Art Museum in Italy was quiet due to the low number of visitors, allowing me to enjoy Baroque-era paintings in a peaceful setting. Among the works displayed were pieces by Pieter Wouters from Antwerp, an anonymous artist from the Naples school depicting the angel announcing Jesus' birth to the shepherds, and Ottavio Vannini's portrayal of the biblical scene of Isaac being offered as a sacrifice. Personally, I was particularly impressed by Francesco De Rosa (Pacecco)'s painting of Jacob meeting Rachel. From the late Renaissance to the Baroque period and the 17th-century Naples school, it was a fascinating experience to connect the biblical stories with the diverse works of art within the museum. I had the chance to see a painting believed to be by Francesco Fracanzano. Additionally, works by Andrea Malinconico and Matthias Stom, as well as bronze sculptures by Bruno Innocenti, were also on display. At the Pinacoteca, I had the chance to see works by local Italian artists for the first time, which made me feel as excited as flipping through an old family album. I got to admire Giovanni Boldini's pieces and Telemaco Signorini's vibrant depictions of Italian markets.
