I went to Laikai in the morning on a local bus in Hawaii🌺 during the COVID-19 pandemic. First, I went to Lanikai Pillbox. It's hard to find, but the entrance is a small path opposite the golf course, so I definitely recommend wearing trekking shoes or sneakers. The view of the No. 1 beach in the United States from the pillbox is amazing😃🌊 After descending the mountain, I headed straight to the beach. There are roads that connect several beaches from residential areas, but there are no toilets or shops. As expected👍 the No. 1 beach in the United States🌊 is a wonderful beach. During my 16-night stay, I found Lanikai Beach to be better than Waikiki, so I took the bus to this beach many times. However, be careful because you have to transfer buses🚌 and there are not many buses. In search of Hawaii's most spectacular views, I challenged myself to do the Pillbox Trail✨ I wanted to do a lot of things, so I joined a local tour that included Lanikai Pillbox and a bicycle tour of Lanikai Beach and Kailua Town👟 I traveled by bus and stopped at a few spots before arriving at my destination✨ On the way back, I was really grateful that I was taken back to the hotel even though I had zero energy after climbing the mountain🥹 It takes 30-40 minutes by car from Waikiki to Kailua Town, so it might be easier than driving or taking the bus💕 📍Lanikai Pillbox #FreeTripWinter #0YenTrip

Hawaii is a place you'll want to visit even with the weak yen🤙🌺 I went to climb the pillbox!! I’ve been to Oahu so many times and I’ve only just checked in to the famous Lanikai. Pillbox Hike ⛰️ I was really surprised ~ so mui! Because I heard that the pillbox is full of people at sunset However, the old man Liu who took the photo at our house was in a big club and he was worried about one person, so we changed to check in in the morning. - Parking is great in the morning and there are very few people. The two of us enjoyed the beautiful view of the entire pillbox without anyone else disturbing us for more than an hour. It almost feels like we could have a picnic with sea view After climbing, go to OverEasy not far away for a small brunch. How wonderful~ - But it is said that it is not difficult to climb. In fact, the slope is quite steep. There are also some sections that are slippery We both use our hands and feet together It is recommended that everyone wear non-slip shoes for safety reasons The entire trail was very comfortable. The first half of the journey is not sunny. There is sun at the back but there is wind on all sections. It was really cool when I climbed to the top. The feeling of "growing wildly and embracing the sun" - I really feel that Hawaii is a special place to treat urban diseases. When the weather is good, be sure to come here for a hiking trip! Free scenic spot, excellent viewing angle, overlooking the sea from the mountain is refreshing and delightful. The road up the mountain is very primitive, all dirt roads, some parts require both hands and feet, and the ground is slippery. It is not recommended to come on rainy days, as the difficulty will increase and it is also very dangerous. On the mountaintop, there are two small houses. From here, you can see Lanikai Beach, and the scenery is very nice! Please do not park near the hiking trail. I suggest taking Uber to get here, which will be much more convenient. After the hike, you can also go to Lanikai Beach, where the sand is very fine and comfortable.
