If you want to enjoy a unique winter landscape in Namyangju, I recommend visiting the Piano Waterfall located within the Hwado Pure Water Center. This eco-friendly space offers a variety of attractions, including a free water playground, an ecological park, piano-shaped restrooms, and a magnificent waterfall.
The Piano Waterfall is a unique facility where a steel frame structure is set up on a cut slope, and an artificial cliff is created using artificial rock molds. It operates by pumping discharge water from the sewage treatment plant and making it flow down the 61-meter-high artificial cliff.
When I visited in February, the waterfall was not operating to prevent freezing, but the majestic cliffs and the surrounding natural scenery were still impressive. If you visit in winter, just enjoying the snowy scenery around the waterfall will be satisfying.
