If you have been here, you will know that this place is full of the green influential gang, that is, the round cabbage, that surrounds and controls the territory of this mountain area continuously for many mountains. In addition to the winter when we can hug the sea of fog to our hearts' content, the amazing thing about Phu Thap Boek is that during the rainy season, there will be fog all day long. On some days, you may be surprised to see a beautiful sea of fog. And the air up here is quite cool all day long.
And another place in Phetchabun that should not be missed is Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, a place for meditation with beautiful scenery all around, overlooking Pha Sorn Kaew and the intricate mountain range. There is a meditation hall with a beautiful jade Buddha statue inside, decorated with beautiful and unusual paintings.
Located on a hill in Ban Thang Daeng, Tambon Kham Son, which began construction around the end of 2004, amidst nature and a peaceful atmosphere, to be a place to teach the practice of developing the four foundations of mindfulness, which is the heart of Buddhism, according to the teachings of the Lord Buddha, who pointed out that it is the only path leading to the purity of the body and mind, the cessation of suffering, the attainment of the path and nirvana. This place is surrounded by nature with tall mountains stacked in rows. Interesting things in the temple are the five Buddha chapels, which have white Buddha statues sitting in a cascade, and the Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew Sirirat Thammanimit Chedi, a beautifully decorated chedi with tiles of various colors, jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, Benjarong bowls, etc. The chedi is divided into a resting area for practitioners and a separate area for the monks. In addition, there is a cave on the hill where many Thang Daeng villagers have seen a crystal ball floating in the sky and disappearing into a cave on the clifftop. The villagers believe that it is the relics of the Lord Buddha and consider it an auspicious place. It is sacred and is commonly called Pha Sorn Kaew to be an auspicious sign for the villagers of Thang Daeng and those who come to practice Dhamma.
