Currently, here you can see the remains of barracks, torture chambers, a museum that contains photographs, personal belongings of convicts. This place is a must visit if you want to understand why Vietnamese society is still so hostile to the American invasion of their territory. Coconut prison is truly creepy: rows of barbed wire, barracks like matchboxes, guards on towers and guards with dogs, decide for yourself whether it is worth going here, especially with children. The notorious Prudential Prison has held more than 40,000 prisoners. The prison has been rebuilt. The museum is for future generations to visit. There are many life-like models in the prison to show you the life situation and the type of torture of the prisoners. It is really a immersive feeling in the country. It is a cultural attraction worthy of a visit on Phu Quoc Island. Here you can feel the cruelty of war. Visitors can go back to the route of prisoners who escaped from prison. The feeling of leaving the tunnel is really to regain freedom. The concentration camp surrounded by three-layer barbed wire consists of a simple, iron house about half a meter high from the ground. Follow the passage in the barbed wire and pass through the gate to enter the concentration camp. The statues in each barracks tell you the past in the past. For prisoners of war, how to escape from here, from freedom is the hope of continuing to live. The Vietnamese recreated the horror of the Shura hell at the time with some sculptures that were not so lifelike. The prisoners who were abused by various means were still shocking. Humiliation and resistance to rebirth are the two most emphasized themes here.
