Phra Samut Chedi Temple, the symbol of Paknam City✨️

📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered.
✨️Wat Phra Samut Chedi was originally a pagoda in the middle of the water, built during the reign of King Rama II. Later, the right bank of the river extended to connect to the island, becoming a symbol of Samut Prakan Province.
✨️In front of the pagoda, there is a royal chapel. The principal Buddha image is in the posture of calming the ocean, with the belief that it will prevent bad things from the sea, such as storms, from harming.
✨️At the back is a 5-room Western building with murals depicting the creation of Samut Prakan and Wat Phra Samut Chedi.
✨️The temple area has a walkway to the pier. There is an octagonal pillar with a lotus bud on top.
Nearby is the Phisuea Samut Fort and a mangrove forest walkway.

An old landmark in the middle of the water
… is another place in Rayong that has an old pagoda located on an island in the middle of the Rayong River. There is a long wooden bridge that you can walk into to see the pagoda. But let me tell you, the distance is really long. Along the way, there will be a photo corner, a resting corner, and a nice atmosphere. There is a boat service to take you to see the river. The area is surrounded by pine forests, making it shady and beautiful. 📷 Walking and taking pictures is fun. But when I reached the pagoda, I paid my respects and prayed until I forgot to take pictures. I only got pictures on the bridge. But the pagoda area is a wide area. There is a flower service point, incense, candles, restrooms, and a small snack shop. It is considered another recommended place.

The pagoda
The pagoda in the middle of the water is an important symbol of Rayong province. The shady atmosphere makes it suitable for locals to relax in their free time. You can come to exercise and see the mangrove forest. Opening hours: Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. How to get there: It is about 4 kilometers from Rayong city center. Take the route to Pak Nam Rayong. The pagoda in the middle of the water is at the end of the road. But if you come from Pak Nam, cross the Chalermchai Bridge and turn left onto Samut Chedi Road. Private car From the city center, drive along Adun Thammaprapha Road and turn right at Samut Khongkha Road. Drive straight, pass Wat Pak Nam for another 1.5 kilometers, and the end of the road is the pagoda in the middle of the water. #Missing nature
