If you're planning a trip during a long holiday, I would definitely recommend Malaysia. Especially for those in the Greater Bay Area, there are daily flights to and from Kuala Lumpur from Shenzhen, which is super convenient. I took a direct flight from Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur with Shenzhen Airlines and started my city walk as soon as I landed. I have to say, Kuala Lumpur is perfect for city walks. Here are some places I recommend. Petronas Twin Towers. This is the national symbol of Malaysia. The twin towers are 452 meters high and have 88 floors above ground. They were once the tallest buildings in the world and are still the tallest twin towers in the world. They are worth visiting both during the day and at night. The best place to take photos is the zebra crossing on the opposite side of the road. Bukit Bintang, also known as Star Avenue. The iconic intersection is particularly popular among young people, and there are always tourists coming to take photos. There are various shopping malls and tall buildings, as well as cute "caterpillar cars", i.e., monorail trains. Jalan Alor Street Art. I just got back from Malaysia and wanted to share my 3-day, 2-night travel guide for Kuala Lumpur. 1. Transportation: I flew from Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur on Shenzhen Airlines, and also flew back on Shenzhen Airlines (from Penang to Shenzhen). The flight was about 4 hours and the free baggage allowance was 23 kg. 2. Internet: I have a China Mobile SIM card and activated international roaming. I bought a data package before I left (you can buy it on the China Mobile mini program or Alipay). It was CNY 28 per day for 3 GB of data. You can buy as many days as you need. It's buy one get one free, so it's more cost-effective if two people buy it together. We bought 6 days for two people, so it was CNY 64 per person. Incoming and outgoing calls were CNY 1 per minute. Alternatively, you can buy a SIM card when you arrive in Kuala Lumpur. After you collect your luggage at the airport, turn left and there are a few kiosks selling SIM cards. The prices are similar. In the night time, it is literally turning into an ever-bright city when all the lights are ON!! How amazing it is!! Among of these, the most famous would be the KLCC Twin Tower, KL Tower, The Exchange TRX and we even have the World No 2 tallest building after the Dubai Burj Khalifa - Menara Merdeka 118 in place making we are so proud to be the citizens.
