A nice spot for many photo locations at Petite France
#photolocation #100waysoftravel
We were visiting Gapyeong area and we did a stop at Petite France , which is a small townsville replicates the design of houses in Alsace, France. The interior has many nice buildings with the facade of the old houses particularly resembles those you can find in Colmar. There are several activities such as the music box show, puppet show and cafes which you can have coffee and madelaines. There are so many nice spots which you can take photos and everyone of them is special and unique. It is a nice getaway from the city.

Went to the Petite France, Italian Village and The Garden of Morning Calm with a tour organizer. Booked a private car and the planning was great.
Have good time for tour and photography.
Visit the colorful village of Petite France and Italian Village, so many little details and I love the walk at the garden of morning calm too.
So beautiful colorful plants and flowers.
Went there in November and the weather is pretty chill.
But overall is a great adventure!

K-drama filming set in Petite France, Seoul
#seoultrip
One of the main reasons for K-drama fans to visit Petite France is to check out the filming set of “My Love from The Star”. It was one of the top Korean dramas ever.
Some of the places shown in this TV show have become very famous. Petite France is where, in episode 15 of My Love from The Star, Professor Do Min-joon finally confesses his love for Cheon Song-yi.
My rating of this attraction: 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5!

🇰🇷 Little Prince Petite France
A small and lovely village created for the Little Prince, a storybook character in a French children book. This lovely village is also one of the movies set in a super popular k drama. You can come here easily by joining one day tour and it will bring you to Nami Island, Petite France and Morning Calm garden. This is a better choice than making your way by public transport. Petite France is located on a hig terrain and you can get to see many picturesque views. I recommend coming here during autumn, winter and spring when it is less hot. Plus, you get to see awesome views too like autumn foliage, winter snow and spring flowers.
Have a seoul-prise in South Korea.

Popular with K-drama fans as it has been a set for numerous shows and Petite Prince fans because the little prince is everywhere you look, the village is a colorful find in the beautiful autumn mountain.

Beautiful Petite France in Korea
Petite France is a small French village located just a few Kms away from famous Nami Island. As the name depicts everything in here represents France. Starting from peculiar multi-storey arhitecture to narrow stone-lined streets it all gives a feeling as if you are actually walking in a French village. I visited the place with my family last year around same time and it was absolutely fun. There was also a traditional cultural show organizaed in the centre of the village witu specific timings during the day. Those who plan to visit it should also plan to visit Nami Island the same day. That way you will be able to explore two destinations in one go.

Ring the bell in Petite France 🔔
When having your Daytrip for Nami Island, Petite France is a common stop over.
The colorful buildings make it more attractive. This village is photo-worthy. 📸
It is also famous for being the shooting location of many trending korean dramas.
We visited during summer though but this is best to visit during spring to enjoy the cherry blossom. 🌸
They also have a bell believed to answer wishes.
You may try to ring this and see if it works for you. 🛎

Petite France
Petite France is one of those popular spots for tourists to get away to when they head out of Seoul. It’s in Gapyeong, an area that has a lot to do so it’s a great area to take a day trip from Seoul to see not one, but multiple fun things. From gardens and parks with light festivals to farms, islands, and unique villages, there’s a ton to do in the area.
Petite France is one of those Instagrammable hot spots to the east of Seoul in Korea that makes for a great day trip from the city. Popular with K-drama fans as it has been a set for numerous shows and Petite Prince fans because the little prince is everywhere you look, the village is a colorful find in the green and blue mountainside. Set in the mountains of Gapyeong, the petite village is an easy stop to make along with other fun must see areas like Nami Island or Garden Of The Morning Calm. You could even make a stop here if you’re on the way out to Alpaca World if you want something to break up the drive. It’s a bit quirky, a lot rom7antic, and completely adorable.
Getting There - The trip out to the station and then onto the bus can rack up a lot of time, so a lot of people opt to take a day tour. Numerous companies offer them and you can combine Petite France with some nearby stops with ease. Here are a couple options to look into:
Attractions - A plethora of beautifully cotton candy colored French style buildings in the mountains of Gapyeong.
Hotels - There is no hotel in Petit France
Food & Restaurants - There is only 2 small cafes here.
Shopping - You can find souvenirs shopping here.

I really liked the colorful buildings because it's a tourist attraction with a French atmosphere (๑>◡<๑)
The main character of Petite France is the Little Prince!🤴🏻
There were many themes with the Little Prince ㅎㅎ
The good thing about Petite France is that you can go into each building!! If you go into the building you want to see,
each building has different things to see!
If you want to take a great picture,
go to Petite France for a weekend trip!

Do you know the famous Korean drama You Who Came From the Stars? One of the filming locations is in Petite France! If you are into exploring filming locations, don’t miss out on this tourist attraction. Other dramas were filmed here as well, but this place is more known for filming You Who Came From the Stars!

Highly-recommended as the place is so beautiful for photo-taking. Only downpoint is the lack of cafes, snack kiosks or restaurants for tourists to relax and enjoy the scenery. Just 1-2 hours is enough to tour around the area.

A small, beautiful, relaxing and colourful small town located just outside Seoul, Petite France is one of the famous destination when people go to visit Nami Island, as it will be along the way to get there. The white exotic buildings on the hill are scattered together, resembling a seaside village. These buildings, along with the beautiful scenery of Homyeong Mountain, make you feel like you are in a pastoral village at the foot of the Alps, hence the name "Petite France, the French Cultural Village."
From Cheongpyeong Dam towards Nami Island, you can reach this charming village by traveling about 10 kilometers along the lake. Must visit day trip from Seoul
Exploring this charming village was like stepping into a storybook! The delightful horse and carriage statue at the entrance set a whimsical tone for the day. The views were breathtaking, with colorful buildings nestled against a backdrop of rolling hills and serene waters. Walking through the village felt like a journey through a fairytale, especially when I stumbled upon these adorable statues from classic tales. Every corner had something new and enchanting to discover. It was a warm day, but the enchanting scenery made it all worthwhile. If you love immersive and picturesque places, this village is a must-visit! 🌞🏞️

The Petite France
#koreatrip You will definitely enjoy this place if you adore Little Prince. As you may notice, there are a lot of colorful buildings here. Inside, you can see anything about the famous French book.
There’s also a section in the area where you can see a magnificent view of Han River.
While there are cafés inside, only a few operates during our visit.
Before you get in, a circle sticker will be put on your clothes. And before you leave, you can stick that sticker to the gate to leave some sort of a mark.

Gapyeong's small French village .
Gapyeong's best theme park to visit for a light outing is Petite France, which is so pretty that it feels like you've traveled to a French village itself.
No matter how many times you visit, this place gives you the feeling of being in France, with plenty of actual French antique furniture. Hours can fly by just taking photos, and it's also a great place to visit with children as there are performances.

Petite France / Italian Village
Joined on a tour to visit the places. Was not crowded and definitely an IG worthy place with the vibrant buildings and bring coloured houses. Note that it is an upslope for petite France and downslope for Italian village so if you’re travelling with a stroller there might be some issues. But I would recommend it in your itinerary if you have extra time because it’s definitely worth your time away from the city life in Seoul.
